Please, others who are yet to book for an appointment in Lagos may want to consider the VI option for closer dates.

How do one change from ikeja to VI after you have gotten to the appointment date area ?

Kindly note that, for the purpose of your visa application, you don't take a TB test in any hospital.

IOM lagos or IOM Abuja is the only recognised centre.

Kindly go to there physically to book an appointment, as it is not currently possible to book via the link.

There are still dates available for this month in TLS Victoria Island Lagos, you may want to consider that option.

Kindly note that it comes with a fee of £55.

Some personal observations wt the application.
The TLS contact app tracking app was not functional throughout.
The applications were better tracked via online. The online track status may be the most quickly updated for now. Online
"Application transferred to VAC" first observed around 11:30
"Application received by VAC" first observed around 14:42

Via email:
Application assessed and document ready for collection came in quick succession around 14:40.

Summary, it is better to track online than via email.

I am a January intake that was denied visa in February because my sponsor did not reply to the confirmation email sent to them( God factor). The God factor set in because I thought I can not be denied because I am a state sponsored student but God showed me his existence. Someone from the chief of staff office saw the email from the embassy but decided to look away because she thought the letter is not genuine.

The school decided to issue me a new CAS after a new letter of introduction was issued by the said state government. In all I give God the glory.

For the issue with correction of name/Date of birth on WAEC result.

Since WAEC has stopped correcting these.

Please has anyone gotten visa using an Affidavit along with the WAEC result?

Has anyone been denied visa because of the use of Affidavit for WAEC name/date of birth Correction?

I read about letter of attestation, can it really be used? Please how long does it take to get one.

Please kindly advise

Hi,

I have not applied for visa yet, but from what i have gathered here, the documents you are to submit are usually stated on your CAS.

So, if it is stated on you CAS, then you will have to submit it for visa application, otherwise you don't have to.

I hope this helps.

POF means Proof of Funds.

That is, the balance of your school fees (asides the deposit you paid to your school to get your CAS) and your maintainance money (money required for your living expenses).

Please this is the situation, my parent were in a different address when the account was opened and currently no longer in that address.

For the consent letter, is it okay to use the current address, while the bank statement bears the former address?

Or we should just use the address on the bank statement (the former address).
