Must the address on the statement of account be the exact on the consent letter.

Please this is the situation, my parent were in a different address when the account was opened and currently no longer in that address.

For the consent letter, is it okay to use the current address, while the bank statement bears the former address?

Or we should just use the address on the bank statement (the former address).

Please kindly advise.

I know that I have 3birth certificates for each of my kids from different places as we had the whole 4names or 3names issues, English or native until we finally concluded while processing their passports. The easiest option I think, is to go to a local government office, ask for the npc rep there and discuss this. I hope it works out as easily as it was for me and the friends I know who have done this for themselves.

The replacement is the NPC issued birth certificate. They can reissue another one , someone I know paid 10k for it to be issued .

If your mum is been careful for any reason best known for her, you can quickly open an account in her bank and they transfer the money there. Then put PND on the account till you are done! By that everyone is safe.

My advise though.

I am a mother any way, I just adviced based on what I did with my daughter's Account, with the MSc POF

Personally, I would advise you go there yourself if you can (since the email isn't working for now).

While I was there, they asked those who weren't able to book online to write their names and they were were given dates.

However, they were also told that they will be sent an email.

I have done an an affidavit and an NPC (National Population Comission) birth certificate to correct this.

My mum is my sponsor and I will have to provide my birth certificate along with my mum's statement of account.

Please my question is;

I intend submitting the NPC birth certificate, affidavit and the birth certificate (the writings on the birth certificate are not legible) along with a cover letter explaining why I have NPC birth certificate and my affidavit.

On another thought, I feel that these documents are too many and I don't want to complicate things.

Or do I submit just my affidavit and NPC birth certificate along with my POF?

Yes, TB result is required for visa application.


On getting a closer date I am not certain.

However, you can send a mail or better still go to the test centre and explain to them.

You might be able to sort it out.

P.s. At IOM Lagos office yesterday, those that weren't able to book TB appointment online, were given 11th and 18th of June as available dates...

7th Dec 2020, i received my unconditional offer after submitting the required documents and passing my credibility interview

14th April 2021 CAS was issued..

15th April 2021 i did my TB test.

Standard VISA application..

29th of April Biometrics

The waiting began, I won't even lie, it wasn't easy, checking my mail every now and then..

18th May 2021 I received two collection mail. I was in Benin, i had to run to Lagos today 19th May, i got to Lagos before 12pm then i dashed to Ikeja to collect it.

When i got home, i nervously opened it, there my VISA was smiling at me.....

I can't fail to appreciate some people here, you all were really helpful...

I did everything myself from admission to Visa application (self service)

DeeOneBangin is spot on ...the bank statement has to be used within 31 days on the day of your application. If its more than then yes get a new bank statement showing the money has been there for at least 28 days

You can use the statement for CAS and visa application as long as it falls within the 31 days rule. The day you submit online doesn’t have to reflect in the bank statement. What matters is that, the day you printout, the caseworker will starting counting backwards up to 28days. Shikena!!!

The day you submit online is what will be used as the exchange rate on oanda.

That is using the same statement for both CAS and visa application.

Knowing that the day I submit my online application will not be in the bank statement.

Or I should print a new one from the day I submit my online application?

The exchange rate that you use to calculate pof before you submit if for your own personal self and a guide to you and helps you with planning . All that up and down fluctuation is just for your observation and planning

For the actual visa application it doesn't mean a single thing. The only exchange rate that matter or that will be used is the exchange rate on the day you apply. What you need to ensure is that on the day you apply that exchange rate is favourable with the amount in you Pof. If it is not, then you cant apply as it would lead to rejection that there not enough money

I'm sure @justwise will remember my case and few other people, I applied sometimes in February with priority one day about 1k pounds, I was invited for an interview but they claimed they called but the call never got to me but I prompted them I didn't get a call on that which stands has an evidence for me but following day I was denied they said I didn't pick my call when they called! I was devastated I was so sad and worried but I kept my faith on, applied for administrative review via a lawyer in the uk which cost me about 300£ With all the evidence I could get from the network and police and Interpol self, 70 days plus nothing from them, but during the time I was in touch with school and taking classes and doing tests and assignments from school infact I was involved with student Union matter online to the extent I became a representative for student, school was willing to issue me a new CAS after the long wait I requested for a new cas and I was issued a week after, I applied again

Biometric: 29 April
No Decision email
Docs ready for pick: May 6
Picked up today with my Visa intact
Ikeja(priority)

After 3 uk visa denial I eventually got it
