I am sure you haven't read the thread at all. If you did, you would have noticed that I didn't take side im my submission.

Mind you, that I chose to toe the path of peace doesn't mean I am not capable of dishing out greater measure of attacks on you folks , but my common sense wouldn't let me stoop that low.
I am Yoruba. I have Ibo's, Fulani's as my work partner and we all flow really well. I think the E-war is being exaggerated here online. In the real world, everyone cares only on how to make money.

Any iota of discord between IBOs and Yorubas is only manufactured by the political elites for selfish interest.

We shld ask ourselves, the only ally of the Ibos among yorubas are Falana, Fayose, Mimiko (all PDP) while d allies of the Yorubas among the south eastern are Okorocha, Ameachi, Ngige et all (APC). This is the fact. Any fool can get himself used by these elites...but m sure an average hard working intelligent Nigerian cares on how he'll put food on his table. Tufiakwa

[size=18pt]the yoruba slaves are desperately attempting to derail this thread

well if you like hide your head like ostrich the fact remains that nijeriya is just months if not weeks from disintegration and you slaves to arewa should not dare attempt crossing into Niger Delta and Biafra Republic

Then let's enjoy the derailing now.

Sterling scored a delightful hatrick....u watched the game ??...it's a sweeter alternative to revelling in silly fantasies about a nonexistent biafraudd. The average hardworking IBO man cares much about making money than typing rubbish behind computers...only the not-so-well-to-do gets such time...people like you

I mean one of the worst thing that will happen to a graduate without connection in Nigeria, is graduating with 2.2. You will be locked out of so many opportunities.
This is sooo true. 'Locked out of many opportunities'.
The fact is higher grades open more opportunities for an average job hunter....which someone with a lesser grade cannot even have a leeway to. While I respect the place of skills, the place of academic prowess cannot be overemphasized. There's a reason while there're grades in colleges(except in unclassified degrees).

While I don't discard the 'skill-supporting side', the mathematics is simple:
Higher grade + skill= a quicker job acquisition

Higher grade= advantageous in getting the FIRST JOB especially (often times, you learn on the job during the probation period).

Lesser grade(2nd class lower nd below) + skill= this is favourable especially in the experience hire

Lesser grade without skill = u may need to try 'self employment'.

Albeit, the WEAKEST STUDENT in my class then now works with VON, while some high flying are still stuck with low pay jobs. In essence, the hallmark is Networking (something which Nigerians call 'LEG')

NB: I refer to people who intends on getting a salaried job. Apparently anyone can be an entrepreneur.

[size=13pt]Abati's point is simple, clear and evident that power attracts friends, people in power should be mindful of hypocrits trying to befriend them. Shikena.

There's absolutely no need for arguement.

U can post that without quoting me.

Then the first person we shld be wary of is this same Abati, who as an editor in Guardian, was a staunch hater of GEJ before he was appointed as his spokesman.
