Well I can name hundreds of people too, (strong people, if I may say) from Albert Einstein to the market regulators of wall street down to great men in medicine (Ben Carson, and my professor of respiratory medicine here in oau-prof Erhabor-who doubles as an ambassador of UN on leadership.

The moral of the story is....what is worth doing at all is worth doing well. Book or no book...whatever ur hand finds doing, do it well. Where ur heart is, there ur treasure will be.

depends on the girl. I don't care how much money you have, if you're not eloquent/funny and intelligent, no deal. Especially intelligence, cuz I can't stand stewpid people. Do you know of Elliot Roger? He was the privileged son of an American movie director who went on a killing spree that eventually led to the death of 7 people including himself, why? Cuz girls turned him down. He HAD MONEY
with this your intelligence, no wonder you emphasize on intelligent guys.

PDP shld understand that we voted in PMB on basis of 'fighting corruption'. Really, PDP is doing herself a disservice if they continue this propaganda against the anti-corruption war.

2. It bedevils me that PDP suddenly become an ally of Saraki et al...anyone alleged of corruption is welcome into the PDP. Saraki wasn't the first person to be dragged to CCT, Tinubu had once been brought there (it wasn't called a witch-hunt by the PDP then)!

Finally, the my Igbo brothers shld borrow a leaf from the Yorubas who despite the bias of the 'afenifere' group towards the PDP, voted for PMB against the will of the aforementioned elite group. Ohanaeze, Afenifere, OPC, AREWA et al are a grp of elite oligarchs who capitalizes on the emotions of their undiscerning tribemen to attain power (often times for selfish reason).

This is a time to join hands together and support PMB to lay a new foundation- a foundation of transparency, of due process, prudent spending- to build on a greater tomorrow.

Be mindful that I voted for GEJ in 2011...he was a good man, but not a leader

*" I belong to everybody and I belong to no one" PMB may 29

"I am not after anyone...people should not fear me, they should (rather sic) fear the consequences of their actions" PMB Oct 1

Riodiao:
Nigeria a country where is ok to steal if your from the North, but if you steal and from the south its corruption. Abacha stole over 100billion dollars yet buhari said he is not corrupt but madueke has a scandal of $20billion she's corrupt . The likes of Gwarzo, al Mustapha stole over $800million dollar yet today they are free men. Atiku is wanted in the USA for the haliburton bribery scandal and corruption but today he is free man , no attempt of arrest has been made on him.madueke has been arrested but saraki is a free man. If your a son or daughter of niger delta this is a wake up call . Now its madueke, Very soon these people will come to your bed and kill you in your sleep. Keep cheering for apc and this government. abacha's govt was characterised with high scale of looting and crruption yet abdusalami came on board and never one day probed abachas administration.our own brother GEJ came on board and for the sake of unity, prosperity and the fear of been from a minority refused to probe previous administration.GEj came on board and uncovered wide spread stealling, irregularities on how the north has milked nigeria for over 40years. Gej decide to empower the south, allowing them to steal and loot to enrich and empower the regoin so tge future of our unborn children will be secured yet we join this people who want to own it all, rule forever to call GEJ names, taunt Gej.just like Fayose said GEJ gave it all like JESUS yet we chastize him, abuse him.today because of Gej we can boast of multi millionaires in the private sector from the south. Today the south can boast of over 300 professors, something that was unimmaginable in the military era. The people in the south are to ignorant and short sighted , over the months iv painstainkingly read on wikipedia about the cause of major Gen Orkar coup, the aburi accord. To all militants in the niger delta, now its the time to show you were fighting in the interest of your people. We are not a coward tribe, we fight for our right and freedom not even britain could conquer us. Enough is enough. If madueke goes down for corruption then IBB,danjuma, abacha, atiku etc must all go to jail too for corruption. Buhari can take the position on nigeria president but he can never take our freedom!
lol...wailers

by the time you graduate, things might be different. For example, 3 years ago after my internship, the UK job market was tight. So many people didn't bother doing PLAB. But now, they need doctors and ppl are hustling to go...What do you think will happen 5 years from now? Nigeria might even be a greenland by then!!! I think its good to know this info...i definitely didn't. But focus more on scaling thru school in good colors. It makes any choice you decide to make in future easy. Those who get all these foreign jobs and residency placements easily, were distinction students/ very applied students in school. Or at least, it made their attempts easy. Like i said earlier. You can start this research in 500level. That way, you can start preparing from 600level, and possibly attempt some of the exams after your finals, b4 housejob...OBJECTIVE OPINION...SEEN AND WORKED OUT FOR SOME SMART FOLKS IN MY SCHOOL.
okay sir!.

But did I at anytime tell you m here to write USMLE next yr??...that's why ur opinion is subjective because u dnt have a fact of why m here.

But i value your opinion sir, one step at a time (which I'll key into). Thanks bro and have a blessed new month

The truth is that Angiography will benefit more from the students' thread. Oya boy report back to our thread. There's likelihood of derailment from the major themes of this thread if students increasingly contribute. I've been reading every page and I think that's enough for me for now and Angiography still get some years to reach where I dey grin
it's funny why you don't stick to focusing on why you on this forum than why I'm here!... I aiint a nonentity who doesn't know what he is doing!...and forget schooling me on what i need and don't need.

M sure all these bruhahah won't come up if I'd not included what level i am in med schl. And u know what??...u may actually benefit from my knowledge of getting position in the US and UK since mine two brothers are working respectively therein...but u guys are too bloated for a mature forum!. It surprises me u guys are bringing 'seniorism' unto a faceless forum. And like i said, just stick to ur reason of being on this forum while i stick to mine!

The creator of this thread said "medical doctors' forum", I'm guessing it has not changed to "doctors, students and every1". There's a very vibrant thread for medical students on nairaland, I'll advice you to go there.

tell me what the problem really is!
I don't think it's wrong if i fancy some info being given out here. Your position as a doctor is not under threat by my being here, i assume.

Just tell me why a 'lawyer' (or other professional), not to talk of a medical student, cannot come here to source info!...

Yea australia.

it's up to you. PLAB is probably a faster, less expensive route.
Either way, leave Nigeria
Ireland, U.K, canada, U.S and australia are far better options than staying in that god-forsaken country
hmm....UK's conservative immigration stance is a disadvantage. Positions are only mostly guaranteed in non-training jobs. Training jobs (residency) is almost exclusive to citizens and EU nationals. I still think US gives more hope in getting residency positions...or what's ur opinion??
