@Anistef, I am sorry you are going through this torture. However your story sounded similar to that a friend of mine told me about last week.. I just reached out to her this morning and she gave me the name of a gyny that assisted her in curbing the situation. The hospital is at Wilmer, Apapa. Dako Medical centre. She says the man is experienced in Maternity and Gyneacology issues.

@mamaheaven, you can choose between the other one I referenced to you and this. I do not have any personal experience of them both but a friend has gotten.

One last thing, she says the man would be travelling to Australia for a conference next week...but he would be around today and monday.

Hi Anistef, I experienced something similar in feb/march also and the Dr recommended primolut N. I had the same bleeding issue after the primolut N and I was placed back on tranexamic acid/ibuprofen which reduced the bleeding to a large extent. I then used ruzu bittters on my own with faith/prayers after I was done with tranexamic acid and that stopped the bleeding.

One thing I noticed is monitoring your blood level and also knowing the root cause of the bleeding, you will bleed more if you iron level are low. I noticed i bled even more on the day that i felt faint/tired the most. So you will need to up your diet with iron nourishing food. I used a lot of ugwu (juicing mostly) and it greatly helped me. Thanks to the Mamas here who suggested this to me.

Also see another Dr, you may need to do some test.

did he check for fibroids or uterine polyps?.....cayenne pepper is said to stop all forms of vaginal bleeding within days, i dont know the local name. see if u can locate it in big shops/malls

This has happened to me in the past but I later induced my period after conducting a TVS in the second month of delay to ensure there was nothing growing anywhere. Was the scan you did thoroughly done and also why should your gyny place you on primolute N without further checks on you. Some gynys can be too over confident and generalise their treatments, ignoring the fact that what worked for Mrs A may not work for Mrs B. I would advice you watch your body for some time and consider doing a hormonal profile.

I would advise you follow your heart. If you feel you want to wait a little more to confirm...why not! Pause the Primolut...May be by March midmonth you can go for another blood test. By then if actually it happened... you will be 3 month preggy and you can be sure about all the tests this time. Sometimes all these symptoms are your thoughts/senses which i pray it comes to manifestation. Its well with you. It shall end in praise.

Anistef , have you had such a long cycle before? You said you are feeling symptoms of pregnancy. Pls hold on from taking the period inducing drugs. Who knows if you're pregnant but baby is yet to show. Have you done a very recent scan? Same thing happened to Iomoge2. I think she missed her period for like 3months or so. I think she even started taking drugs to induce it. Then discovered she was pregnant. If its not a regular occurrence, still wait a bit.

What is your previoys diagnosis? My sister, i totally feel your pain as im almost in the same situation. I just feel that since you have missed your period for that long and all tests are negative , you should probably use the drug and get your period so you can begin another round. Its devastating but with God, we will surely overcome this trial!

Good evening to all the sabi mamas in the house. please i have a testimony to share. but before then, i'll want to remind all the mamas ttc that God is not done with us and we should all not loose hope, but strongly believe in him, for him alone has the solution to all our probelms. sometime last month, i brought my problem here to seek opinion. my period was late but i keep getting negative results. i tried so many hospital but all said the same thing. 3 weeks after my eriod was due, it came. i felt really bad, but i didnt give up. something kept telling me i was pregnant. hubby felt its just my imagination because i was too anxious about being pregnant. some days after my period, i started having constant headache with fever. i felt it was malaria so i treated malaria. yesterday evening, it became worse. early this morning, hubby took me to general hospital isolo, i saw the doc, he didnt say anything much. just perscribed some drugs including injection. we bought the drugs then went to get my injection, the nurse wasnt on seat. hubby provoked and decided to take me to a private hospital. the doc there said i should run some test, for malaria and typhoid. both came back negative. he now said i should go for pt, told him i've done lots of that already. he insisted i should go again. it came back POSITIVE. i couldnt believe it, hubby too. we ran another one, still the same thing. i was too excited to say anything. i now showed the dr the drugs i got at isolo, he said i was lucky i avnt taken them or i would have lost the baby as the drugs were all strong. i pray the lord who did it for me will also do it for all the mamas ttc. dnt ever loose hope. the lion of tribe of judah neither sleeps nor slumber. he will see us all through

crying as am typing this. so i took a pregnancy test using a test strip, it also came back negative. to say am mightly disappointed is an understatement. but my period is still MIA, dnt know what to think again. can someone recommend a good doc i can go see around okota lagos, am even too scared to go to the hospital. good morning all, just saw this page and felt this is the right place for me to ask my question. will appreciate all the advice i can get. i got married last year and have been ttc, around middle january, i noticed am always feeling sick, constant headache, tiredness, nauseous, cramps, constipation, i even had spotting. goggled the symptoms, was celevbrating inside me as goggle said its signs of early pregnancy. today is 7th january and i havn't seen my period since this year. now to my question, i went for a pt test yesterday, before the lady incharge gave me my result, she and the lab attendant was acting funny, had long section of secret conversation. after which the lady came and met me in the waiting room room and was like even though i didnt. pay for consultatiin, that she just wants to help me. was asking quesrions like when was the last time i saw my period, how long have i been ttc, i answered all her questions. she now said that if a lady wants to conceive, that it is normal that she runs some test to be sure she isnt sick or having any infection so it wnt affect the baby. and that ahe is to be taking some medications before taking in. she now said i should give her a minute. she came back later and was like my result came back negative, that she even went to check again noe just to be sure but it still read negative but i should now register with them so they can start running the test on me and also give me some drugs i'll be taking. Now i might be wrong, i might be right too. but for some reasons, am suspecting she gave me the wrong result so i can come and start the test and what not with their clinic. please os that even possible, have any one had that kinda experience. please i'll appreciate all your advice

back to ur question, Ure nt alone I've d same problem. my period for Jan WS suppose to com 14th which I didt see nd I had same symptoms lik urs, two days after I miss my period I had serious headache nd nausea to b sure I did blood test for malaria nd fever nd typhoid.
d malaria nd typhoid insignificant, nd pt WS negative. I felt bad I treated malaria , I WS abt taken d typhoid drugs wen a nurse advice me nt to, BT I shld wait.
