I was charged £35/hr. Some offer discounts on block bookings. Honestly, it wasn't easy but I made conscious effort not to think about the money been spent especially as a new driver. I just focused on learning.

Wow, but do I need a car or the instructor would provide a car for the training

Compliments of the season everyone. So I passed my driving test yesterday with 3 minors. I remember when I came here to complain some months back about my instructor (whom I did change) and driving in general.lol.
I had never driven before, had between 35- 40 hours and passed first time. I'm not a motivational speaker or anything but if I can drive and pass the test, Anybody can! My family still can't believe I passed. They couldn't even believe I was learning cos I can fear for Africa.

Just the motivation I need. Can you share how much you spent in driving lessons.

Dear friends.

Please I need your advice. I have an offer for a digital marketing course in Salford university(Manchester), RGU (Scotland) and Edinburgh Napier(Scotland).

Which would you recommend I go for please?

Please note that Edinburgh Napier has a 4months break but they are demanding payment of full tuition at matriculation which is tough for me now and is also £4,000 pounds higher in tuition fee than Salford and RGU.

Go for Salford, they have an opportunity for 6-9 months placement and based on the location it's easy to get a good place for placement. RGU is also good. But Salford is much better.

I noticed I was assigned a number carrying AA that wasn’t there the first day I submitted the form….
If that's the case then you should be debited within 2 weeks, could be ealier. But you must have some sort of connection inside the bank that's helping you cause this your timeline is super super fast.

Thankfully I won’t have to wait weeks, mine just moved to disbursement in less than three days. I am sure I would be debited tomorrow. God is great, my school resumes in September and I was scared this FORM A eeish is gonna pose a problem, thankfully it didn’t. It’s a miracle…

Not to rain on your parade but you still have a few weeks to go. Check for your reference on trade portal. If your reference has not changed from AF to AA then you are no where near been debited.

Please how do you guys get POF does any bank help with that? Am novice in many things and I have got my admission confirmed.

Some have the money, some don't. Those that don't find a means that I don't think should be stated here openly.

Please any hope on this Form A status
Actor: ADB reviewer
Status: Recommended for approval

This is after 1 month

You should be debited in 2 weeks. Could be earlier. You can try mounting pressure at this point so they attend to you as soon as possible. The pressure should be directed to the banks headoffice.

Is it possible to remove POF immediately after Biometrics

No ooo. At least until you get your visa but ideally should be with you till you get to the UK.

That means starting over again. And you have to write to the previous bank to cancel bid else they will debit you if your account is funded when it get to your turn.

I doubt it won't affect the process.
Each bank review the application with their staff.
So, I think changing bank will obstruct your stage of payment

It's really just tiring to keep waiting with no set time in sight for actual payment.

Any one going to university of Lincoln Sept intake please I need to ask. Have you paid your fees, have you gotten cas.

I haven't been able to pay cause of form A delay. I'm just scared it would be too late by the time and if form A eventually goes through.

Hello Guys,

So I got admission into York st John( London Campus) September intake.
I have already been given an unconditional offer, so now I am trying to pay for my tuition deposit so I can receive my CAS.

The question is, does anyone know what bank I can use to make this payment £5,160( 50% tuition)? I would appreciate if any pointers can be given for a fast payment via form A as form A offers lower rate.
Abeg my people Help a son in need.

Form A right now na war ooo. I have not seen a case less than 4 weeks, even 5 weeks is not guaranteed. But try access and FCMB.

Hello fam,
thanks for all you do.

my question:
after i got my unconditional offer, my school ask me to show POF before getting CAS .. My POF which was in my spouse acct was ready to go but upon sending to school , i was told it has to be in my own acct as the MA. so i had to move it and then wait 28days.
while waiting i sent a mail to school asking for deposit details so i can just run that during the wait but got a response saying they have not ask me for any deposit and that i have no such conditions to fulfil.
Now i have applied for my visa and biometrics is ds week.... i just want to double check bcs of how i see everyone talking about deposit - is it that some school don't require deposit while others ask...
Thanks

I guess your schools policy is different. What school is this if you don't mind.

Take the 15k salary, add 5 or 10 naira to each bag of pure water you are selling, especially when you source for your own customer, once you are certain of selling at least 500 bags of pure water daily then switch to commission based. I don't know of your location but it's possible in Lagos, at least my mom sells @least700 bags weekly. Find those selling to hawkers and get them to buy from you.

Health / Re: The Doctors Want To Amputate My Mum's Leg. Advice Needed by ankaravillageng: 10:06pm On Nov 05, 2021
Spark2:
Hello NL.
I'm going to keep this brief.

It started three weeks ago. my mum, who was walking normal with no problem suddenly could not walk. Her left leg began paining her severely that day. My mum was all in tears... She was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that her sugar level was on the high side. The hospital gave drugs which stabilised it, at that point my mum was very weak, couldn't eat, each time she eat she throws up and also had some pain in the leg still. After a week in the hospital, we were then referred to a teaching hospital after a test showed that creatinine in her kidney was high.

The teaching hospital tried their best and I can say my mum is now okay. Except for the left leg. She can't still walk on it, the leg feels cold to touch with a little discolouration above the foot.

Doppler test showed that blood isn't really flowing through the leg. And they said they will need to amputate the leg to prevent the infection from growing to the other parts of the body.

Please I want to know if you know anyone who had similar condition and amputation was recommended but was later healed without need for amputation.

Please share your recommendations. I need my mum now more than before in my life. We are confused on whether to allow them to go on with the amputation or seek other alternatives.

Thank you very much.

Pls note that as at now, her sugar level, creatinine and other things are normal.

Are you in Lagos.

I don't mind at all. But its not an easy route and it involves a little bit of money. Honestly if you are still like 38 and below. Just do all you can either by getting extra degree, doing some courses learning French self if possible to be a candidate for express entry or pnp. So on the website it's written in a very simple English. And in my mind I'm like ok all I need to do is write a business idea that is unique and viable and get some designated organisations to buy into it. Na lie oo. I know people on my start up group who submitted to more than 50 organisations and they didn't even get any reply at all.
The maximum mark my husband and I could achieve was 420ish. My hubby just turned 40 when we decided to do canadian moves. And I haven't worked a regular job in 15 yrs so no corporate experience on my part. I'v always been my own boss. I thought we had all it takes but even with good English and all we couldn't meet up to point. We spoke with a Canadian immigration lawyer who gave us options. From the discussion they told us what I do can actually be used as a biz in canada. All I need to do was put it on paper. And that was what I did. They streamlined the designated organisations that focuses on my area of expertise and also helped by highlighting some points in my plan. After 7 months of trying we got an Angel investor who was interested and needed to understand it more. He gave us a letter of support in October 2019 and we submitted our application on 28th Dec. We paid lawyers fees in drawing out agreement and we also incorporated the company in canada and did some little work here and there. Quite a no of Indian guys on my group got their letter of support from incubators and I know they charge them between 20 to 50k dollars for office space, some administrative costs and even legal fees for drawing up agreements and so on. Its not cheap honestly.

Wow it's definitely not an easy path. I'm not considering it at all, was just curious as I have not seen any use that route. Congratulations once again.
