So this is my first baby,Edd was September 30 but baby came early hours of yesterday

On Wednesday morning around 1:30am I started having contractions,by 4am I saw my mucus plug and by 6:30 my water broke,we got to the hospital and I was just 1cm dilated so it started🤦‍♀️ my contractions became so hard and I had contractions all through Wednesday…same Thursday until 2pm and they decided to induce me …even after induction I contracted till 9pm and I was still 3cm dilated,at this point I got an epidural because I was super tired and couldn’t cope with the pain anymore

Around 11:30pm the doctors and midwives came in and told me I can’t do this anymore that anytime I contract my baby heartbeat keeps dropping coz he has his cord around his neck…that they need to rush me into the theatre…at this point I started prayers coz I was scared …they rushed me to the theatre 12:30am Friday my baby came out exactly 12:51am…

Still trying to recover as the pain is much…I pray to all expectant mothers may be receive our blessings in Jesus name

Due to high pregnancy risk after losing 3 babies birthed vaginally, first one stillbirth at 7 month, second stillbirth at 38 weeks and third stillbirth 6 weeks on incubator born at 7 month 28 weeks, that pregnancy wanted to kill me too, it was by God's grace I survived it.

If I should type what I pass Tru in those pregnancies it would be so long, but you people should help me thank God that I survived it, coz the first stillbirth I was bleeding like tap water once it was 12am with large clots of blood, d baby died for no just cause coz I returned from antenatal well a day before that day, doctor tried everything for me to go into labour no way and he said if the fifth day I don't give birth they would operate me, with high doses of hot drip and prayer, I gave birth that 5th day, but my head never remained the same, coz I started hearing voices.
Second stillbirth baby pooped in the tommy and was weak already she came out weighing 4.7kg with bastard tears and didn't cry. After that year I waited four years before I could conceive and when I did, I lost it at five month I saw show with bleeding and by day three at the hospital I had infection of the amniotic fluid and was bleeding with pain and seeing water, it is along story so I would cut it short, if I had known I would have let the baby go at that five month than passing through pain till seven month and having him die 6 weeks in incubator. I had to testify coz I had serious infection that ate up the placenta, if u c the placenta it looked like pieces of meat breaking away, even doctor could not comprehend what she saw. Me on the other hand I had serious infection too.


Fast forward to 2021 I conceived again but didn't put my mind there coz I was like wat is the use of carrying a baby and losing it afterward, but a voice keep telling me I would carry my baby, I no believe sha, till 35 week, that was when it dawned on me I would really have this baby, baby's movements nko? That one was long story coz he kicked sometimes once a day or twice a day and that's it, I don't let it bother me coz if I do I would shift my gaze from Jesus the author and finisher of my faith to physical symptoms.

My cervix started dilating at 6 month even doctor was scared for me he didn't tell me what he saw in scan he just told me to go, I went nd embark on prayer, 7 month the same cervix was dilating that I was walking like I had ball in my vagina, I cried I prayed, I told God this would be that last time I would pray concerning this issue And that was it, cervix changed, when I go to antenatal I don't sit properly coz of incompetent cervix nobody knows what I was passing through.

Due to these history doctor has to carry elective Cs in 36 weeks 6 days and my rainbow baby came out weighing 2.8kg, and he blessed me again with another one September 16th elective Cs at 37 weeks 3 days weighing 2.7kg as doctor don't want to take risk at all.

Na so so red pen full my hospital file.

This is my birth story, it's more than this but mouth and body no go fit talk wetin e c finish.
I came, I saw, I conquered, God is great.

No matter what u are passing through it has an expiry date.

If you have an anterior placenta placement, it is very normal. No cause for alarm.

Good morning my preggy mums,according to my doctor,I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow.
Is it normal not to feel kicks,my doctor says the baby heartbeat is strong and baby is growing well.
But I'm not feeling those hard kicks I felt during my first pregnancy,just movements and faint kicks.

Pls recommend home remedies on blocked nostrils
I exposed myself this evening,went to the brigade MRS to see my doctor,but the doctor was not on seat.

I had to rush back home,hoping to go back tomorrow morning ,but I need home remedies pls.

MRS is not helping matters o,was told to take vitamin c when I complained.
I don't know how far gone are You,I use a pill of G.G cold for mine but I wouldn't recommend you use it as body differs.
You can go back early today to report sick so you can see a doctor .

You could be 35weeks. My lmp was on 31st Jan and my doctor told me today that I'm 34weeks.

The lord is our strength, we pray for safe delivery.

I will try not to make this so long….
After I had my twin in 2020, I really was not ready for another child Atleast not now.
But I took in last year December and started another journey. First trimester came with vomiting and all but it also came with new jobs 😁 because I am a social media marketer/manager..
2nd trimester came and I was still pushing, constantly visiting the hospital for either malaria, mostly malaria jnfact.
Then early trimester, I fell from the staircase. Kaiii it was not funny, I landed with my waist(which is still paining me till now) had bruises all over my body. I rushed to the Hospital, thankfully nothing was wrong with my baby.
My edd was September 5th, according to scan but my last period it was supposed to be last week of august. I was really hoping on giving birth in August. That’s how August came and was going, nothing was happening. I was just having false labour and contractions but nothing more.

I went to the hospital, baby and weight was increasing, according to scan she was 3.93. then the next week they said something was wrong with the machine the last week, so we checked again she was 3.75. Haa I was scared ooo

Then we scheduled for an induction if baby doesn’t come before Monday 11th. But baby girl was still resting and chilling.
So I came to the hospital for induction, the doctor checked and me and said I was already 2cm dilated, so they put in a ball kinda stuff and inflated it. So he said when it falls off I would be 4cm gone. Before I could even be done and stood up to go wait for it to fall off, as I stood up the stuff just fell off, then they went to call the doctor to come check me, when he came and checked, he said I was 5cm gone already. I said Haa thank God oo because my last pregnancy I wasn’t dilating well.

Then he prescribed some medication and I was also put on drip, I was told to lie on my left side so I could dilate faster, this was around 7 past 7. The contractions started hitting me mad, by 9 I was screaming, then they removed the drip because I had heavy show. They checked to be sure I wasn’t bleeding or anything and checked to see how dilated I was( because it was another doctor, he said I was 3cm, I was confused but I didn’t take it to heart)

By 11 I was already screaming and feeling pressure, but they said they will come and check me by 12. Few minutes to 12, I told my husband to go and call them ooo, the contractions were so painful now and I was feeling the urge to push. They came into my room to check me but I had another contraction they just told me let’s move to the labour room.

As I laid down and the nurse or midwife wanted to check me, my water just burst and she was I was already 9cm dilated(even me I was surprised, because I was kind of expecting to hear 6cm like the last time I was in labour) before 30minutes I was fully dilated

That was where another Wahala started. They told me to push with next contraction, I push tire but nothing, I also forgot to mention that baby had already pooped inside me so they wanted her out fast. That’s how we tried and tried, before they discovered she was lying using her face to come out. I wondered why the scan couldn’t detect that.

We sha tried and tried by 12:49 she came out with cord in her neck and they had to resuscitate her which they did and baby girl was weighing 3.35.

After that I had to be stiched because they gave me a cut and baby still gave me another deep tear. I was there for another one hour plus.

But all in all, I thank God because things could have gotten worse but glory to God.

Pls help me manage my scatter scatter story oo😫😫😫 I know if I don’t do it now I might not again

Also in the same category. I'm 34 weeks today, but my scan date is ahead and they are calculating based on the scan. They have even booked me for induction a week before the scan date. Their reason is that they don't allow anyone above 39/40 years to reach 40 weeks to avoid still birth. I'm scared 😭

It's well with us momma,there's nothing to be scared of,I was induced in my other pregnancy too. It wasn't hard at all.My only worry is this my new hospital don't induce people if not I'll have preferred it.

That could be it... Babies tend to grow ahead at this stage,same as my pregnancy but I'm sticking with LMP.

My hands are crossed tho.,I'm just worried because I was told during ANC yesterday by the other momma that were due that they pray to fall into labor themselves.
That the hospital we're using usually book people for c.s if they don't fall into labor after 1 week of their due date and I also witnessed one myself yesterday. (It's a military hospital)
