I got married last year dec 14, my mum was expecting I tell her I missed my AF January so she asked and I told her not yet but I noticed I had itchy VG with plenty discharge , she den gave me injection " being a retired matron"..gbam February came I no see AF so I told her she was happy.

First trimester
it all started with the worst nausea ever at 4weeks followed by vomiting and lost of appetite at 6weeks.I vomited anything that enters my mouth including water , my weight reduced from 92kg to 75kg.was very weak I could not walking from room to parlour , I was bedridden dat DH will take me to the bathroom and he will bath while I sit cos I could not stand.and he will do all the house chores( he really suffered).hubby already lost his j ob due to the covid pandemic, to feed became a problem for us .Thanks to my Mum who always help us with food stuff.

Second trimester
At 15weeks I was able to eat little and could walk in the house using the walls as support..on a fateful day DH gave me food and I decided to carry the plate to the kitchen to wash before he enters the house as he was outside (was proving strong enough not knowing I no strong at all)as I was about rinsing the plate DH just entered and I smiled at him" me praising my self dat I was washing plate the next minutes I saw myself lying on the couch. he said I fainted after I smiled that he thank God he was @ my back.
At I6weeks , was about to sleep lying on the bed wen I noticed a warm liquid flowing down my thigh. I check it was blood , had to call my mum so she said I should lay on my side and restrict my movement till morning...the blood was dropping small small ..by morning the blood has stopped so I went for scan the sonographer said there was no problem dat the baby is fine but I av a low lying placenta which was d cause of the bleeding...was told to have enough bed rest ....checked my blood level,it was 28%. ..drank enough ugu to boast it.

Last trimester
This trimester was my honey moon trimester as I don't even know if I was pregnant as I eat a lot and full of energy...I did another scan @ 31weeks the placenta was no more low lying. was now battling with high Bp 150/90mgh and swollen feet...I was given drugs to lower the bp. At 39weeks on Nov 25, around 8pm I realised dat after I finish urinating another water was dripping, it kept coming till 10pm..so I called my mum den we headed to the hospital. getting to the hospital the nurses saw me and asked if I was in labour but I said no that I was seeing water ,.dey called the doctor to examine me and he said I was 2cm dilated without pains..dat was how I was admitted hoping contractions would start before day break..but nothing happened..

Delivery
On Nov 26, the next day @ 5am...the doctor came and said he will assist me by rupturing the amnotic sac so all the water will drain and contractions will start...The pain no be here o....@ 6:30am he said he will induce me he put up the oxytocin drip I finish the first one no labour pain...around 9am he passed the second drip and he checked me I was 4cm...by the time the second drip wanted to finish den the contraction was coming back to back but nw stucked at 4cm no progress...he then passed the third oxytocin drip I could not bear the pain again I told them to come and remove their drip dat I don't want again cos I still not progressing nw it was 1pm called my mum to come and sign for cs as DH was at work( he got another job)so the doctor removed d drip wen I said dey should removed it...dat was wen the contractions was very strong so I told them to check me I was 6cm...by 2pm I was feeling the urge to push kept poo pooing hot poo he checked I was 9cm...he den begged me to allow him pass the oxytocin drip again to fasten it to 10cm...he was about to fix it wen I shouted I want to push...me I just started pushing and dey saw the baby head..the matron shouted dat I should come and lay on the delivery couch ..I was assisted to the couch was given an Epsiotomy cut and my prince came out screaming after the third push...pklacenta was delivered and was stitched...bleed heavily after delivery but I give God the glory it ended in praise , coming back here 2023...here is our baby joy ..our wedding anniversary testimony.

Biko grab a glass of water and popcorn as my BS is lengthy.

I was 8 weeks gone before I realized I was pregnant. No Ms ....Since then,things took the other way.I couldn't even register for antenatal till I was 26 weeks,did my first scan at 26 weeks and scan said baby was XX.

THIRD TRIMESTER
Fast forward to 36 weeks,had to come on here to plead for baby items which @Babygal2020 and an anonymous giver sent me some amount (God bless your kind hearts).... Bought my hospital items & baby clothes with the money.
At 39 weeks,doctor requested me to do another scan,did it and scan back dated me to 34weeks with XX gender,that week.... I started having contractions... Went to the hospital for check-up, was examined & doctor said I was 2cm dilated That I should go home and come back when the contractions become frequent.
40 weeks came & I was still at 2cm.
Doctor told me if I don't fall in labor till 41 weeks,I'll be induced.
At 40 weeks & 6 days, I started having contractions, went to the hospital, doctor checked and said I was still 2cm,he inserted a drug to induce labor at 1:42pm.

Was at the hospital till 8 pm, was contemplating on going home since I wasn't feeling anything much,,... Was about to go meet the doctor when a nurse called me into the labor room to check if I was progressing.
She checked & said I was still 2cm dilated and that the drug that was inserted has almost slipped out without dissolving at all, she went ahead to push it in and told me she'll come to check again if I'm progressing after 4 hours.
At some minutes to 10pm I wasn't myself any longer, the contractions were hitting me back to back ....I started feeling dizzy and hot in my tummy... I told the nurses I wanted to bath, I started feeling cold immediately I finished bathing & started feeling as if I wanted to use the toilet.
I told the nurse on duty I wanted to poo, she said okay but was using one kain eyes to look at me & was even complaining that my wahala is getting much .. that I should save my energy as the drug was inserted by 8pm and I still have a VERY long way to go, I got to the toilet and was having a strong urge to push .. went back in and begged the nurse to come & check me as I was having the urge to poo .
She said she won't check me as it was just some minutes past 10pm ,that she would check me by 12midnight,I started begging her to please check how far I was, she refused... When my disturbance was getting much, the nurse told me to enter the labor room,she was complaining to the extent I almost shouted at her but kept my cool,I climbed the bed,she checked and shouted that I was already 10cm dilated,she and the other nurse started running Helter sketer as they weren't prepared ,I told her I can't hold it any longer,that I felt like pushing,she said I should when I'm ready to....I pushed thrice & my baby came out screaming his lungs at 10:15 pm.
The nurse told me to lie still for placenta to come out,20 minutes,the placenta was still in me,the nurse said she could see it but couldn't help deliver it as it seems something was holding it in .She called the doctor that there was an emergency,the doctor came in, checked and said same thing also,he inserted his hand to check and said the placenta was stuck as some part hasn't detached,he detached with his hand and brought out the placenta, checked if it was complete & stitched me ....The nurses named my baby Surprise(lol) as they said the delivery was too short for a first time mum.

The first scan I did at 26 weeks gave me Nov. 3rd as my EDD , went for ANC last week at 39 weeks and matron requested for another scan which gave me Dec. 1st as new EDD.
Matron told me to disregard the second EDD which means I'm 40 weeks this week According to the former .
I saw a slippery watery discharge two days ago,it wasn't much though followed by mild cramps .
I went to the hospital to complain,was checked & doc said I'm 2cm dilated,he requested I go home & come back if I felt anything I couldn't bear.
Had mild cramps through out yesterday & I returned to the hospital this morning, doctor checked again and said I'm still at 2cm,he said I should wait till my next ANC which is 41 weeks & 37 weeks according to the two scans that if nothing happens by then, I'll be induced.
I don't want to be induced.
My question is hope it's safe to wait till next week considering I'm 2cm already with only mild cramps

My pregnancy journey was a very smooth one. I discovered i was pregnant week 8 (mind you i was on antibiotics, detoxifying and doing regular sit ups then coz we weren't planning for a baby this year). I had no morning sickness, no cravings, no drama... I was even feeling like I wasn't pregnant at a point and I had to run a scan to be double sure

DH and I kept praying for supernatural delivery and we were trusting God the baby will come on or before Oct 12..(My birthday and our wedding anniversary). I ate pineapples, dates, brisk walked, danced, like my life depended on it. Oct 12 came and passed, no show. To be honest, i was really sad, i was just unnecessarily emotional.

Fast forward to my last antenatal visit, i was already on week 40 and the hospital policy states induction at week 40. The gynae told me i had to come to the hospital on Sunday night to be induced by 5am Monday. On hearing this, i hot really scared. As a FTM, I didn't know what to expect. All I've had people mention is how painful induction could be. I wasn't ready for all that. I had a 2 hour trek that day, took 2 whole pineapples. Even drank almost a full bottle of castor oil.... Yes.. I was that desperate.. Yet, nothing. I started feeling like God didn't answer my prayers of supernatural birth. Different questions and anxiety started beclouding me. I decided not to go for the induction. Then on Tuesday, the bombshell news of curfew came.. We had no choice than to go to the hospital coz we didn't know how long it was going to last. After i concluded with DH, i entered the room, cried very well as i was praying. Then after the cry, made up my mind to go for the induction.

By Wednesday morning, they inserted the first dose of tablet. No show till 9am. Then by 9, a membrane sweep was done since i wasn't contracting at all. Immediately after the sweep, i started vomiting, while vomiting, my water broke. After then, another dose of the tablet was inserted. Ghen ghen... Labor started 9:30...the contractions did not stop. They couldn't even monitor the fetal heart rate properly coz before they count 30, contractions were back. The contractions was coming like 2 mins then 30 seconds of rest. I was still forming breathing exercise, but when it got to a point... I started hitting the wall vehemently. Oh and I forgot to add that i couldn't labor laying down.. I was pacing to and fro.. The gynae kept begging me to lay down so I don't put pressure on the baby... For where, i just couldn't

By 11:30, i begged then to check me,. I was 7cm dilated, and fully effaced. I was to be checked again by 1pm..when it was 12:05, i couldn't hold it anymore.. I just begged a Doctor to check me (they didn't want to check frequently coz my water had broken to reduce risk of infection)... He checked and i was 10cm gone. Hubby was in labor room with me but immediately they wheeled me to the delivery room, he ran out to call the gynae himself. My darling daughter came out crying after 2 pushes, and just 4 mins in the delivery room. Had very little tear

That is my long story of 3 hrs labor and 4 minutes delivery. I learnt so well that God's timing is different from ours and someone else's story of supernatural childbirth differs from ours. Things didn't go my way, it went God's way and to be honest, I'll be eternally grateful for that.

To all preggy mommas awaiting delivery, i pray your bundle of joy arrives meeting you in sound health and your delivery shall be divine.

Side note.. Having to take care of myself and the baby alone with DH for 4 days wasn't easy at all oh.. And this girl can eat oooh... Thank God the curfew is over.

When I gave birth to my 2nd child (and 2nd princess)that Nov 2018,I could remember I said see you in vision 2020(my first was Aug 2016) I never knew heaven recorded, signed and stamped it...

Back to 2020,I thought it could be a flexing year at least d first 6 months,cuz I intended tracking my ovulation and every every, to see if I can conceive a baby boy,(I already had 2 girls).

We relocated from our formal state to a new state in Dec 2019,and I saw my Lmp in Jan 2020.
In January ending I got a job to resume by Feb 1st,and the condition was no pregnancy till after 6 months,toooh no wahala,I signed n summited the agreement paper
I told DH pls oooo no pregnancy till May/June DH said no wahala, that we will play safe..
Fast forwarded to February ending bearing 5-7 days before my menses,I had cough and Carter I brought cough syrup, prednisolone, piriton , Amoxicillin, pcm, took all as prescribed till no change,then I brought another set of cough syrup, prednisolone, piriton , Amoxicillin,and added septrin ,still no change, mogbe��‍♂️��‍♂️. So I decided to go for Mp n widal n d results came out maleria + and widal about 160 in 3 different place, was like ooo it's even typhoid self that is doing me.lolz
I brought anti maleria drug,dat 4 morning n 4 night,with ciprotab 1 morning n 1 night.i took the drugs for like 3 days(done with d anti maleria n d Cipro remaining 4 tab for 2 days)That was when I remember I have not seen my flow n I have passed my date, I was like maybe it's because of all those drugs I took.
So I brought Pt strip after work,got home by 4:30pm Did the test,lol and behold 2 mighty lines was smiling at me,and I was angrily looking at it.i screamed Jesus, hubby was like what the problem I kukuma show am the result. To be sincere I was not happy at all e pain me.i knew I gat to stop work, (I could be at home for like almost a year,Feb 2021 or more at least d baby will be upto 3 months ) what if it's a another girl ? I wanted to track my ovulation many things on my mind...
I did the test on Wednesday, d Friday I went for vigil the woman of God came to me and said """you are pregnant, and u are not happy about it,your plan is not God plan,and he his going to surprise you.""'and I said Amen.
During that time DH was over protecting me ehhhe, if I go to urinate n I did not come out in time, he will be like hope no problem? Did u see blood? What is keeping you? He tot I might terminate the pregnancy which was the last thing on my mind and is against my believe.( it was later he told me that he tot I might want to do something funny lolz)

Back to my story, finally I stopped working April ending
First trimester was crazy for me,I thought after 13th week I will regain myself I never knew that is another package,I did not only had morning sickness (Ms) also had afternoon sickness, evening sickness,night sickness, all day sickness ,I could not eat, drink or anything, headache was also the order of the day.frist trimester dealt with me,the only thing I can take in was liquid milk and malt, chill water n chewing gum.i became d shadow of my self(letter I)

SECOND TRIMESTER was a little bit mild , but headache the type that does ""odeshi"" to pcm.. before I forget, d cough was till there.the worst was that spitting continued.(I never had that type experienced)

THIRD TRIMESTER came with its own package of waist pain, hip pain, and pelvis pain.i could not stand sit or sleep for a long time.when I want to stand up from bed I got to paused before taking another step.

Fast forwarded to Oct 7th Wednesday around 10am I had a little contraction, after 10 to 15 mins it's came back again,it's continued like that till like 12 noon and I called DH,he was like if he should come back home ,I told him it's too early that I will be fine.,it's continued to 1:7 mins,the contractions pain was so mild almost painless.Around 2 pm I went to pick my daughter from school, went to my client house to give him his last injection/medication.(As nurse/midwife way I be) prepared lunch, and also brought out food from fridge for dinner.all this while I tot it's even false labour no show no liquor even the contraction was not even strong.

DH came back from work around 5:00pm he checked me(vaginal examination:VE) I was already 4 cm gone

I quickly took my already packed bag and he drove us to the hospital by 5:30-5:45 we were already there, d doctor checked me I was 5-6 cm ,i was admitted into the ward, d Dr came back after an hour around 7pm I was already 8cm, I was taken to the delivery room and my membrane was ruptured, so I was told to push if i had any contractions,after some pushes my charming prince came out shouting,that was around 8pm without tear.


AFTER BIRTH...was hell for me,I suffered chronic uterine involution,ahhh I don't pray for my enemy to experience it, it worst than labour pain...
It was very strong contraction that last for 2 mins in every 20 or less,this was how it's continued for 10 days, Panadol extra later stopped working for me,DH placed me on iv pentazocine after about few hours the pains will become worst and unbearable when the baby sucks.that I have to give my Mil or keep d baby on the bed.

My Deliverance..on Friday last week I woke up with the pain around 6am,it was terrible that DH have me the injection before going to work ,when the effect faded off around 10am,OMG!!!!!,the contraction and pains was coming back to back,I called my elder sis who got married to a prophet (he has his ministry base in benin city)that was around 12 noon, I was crying, I could not hold my tears and pains, she was like let her tell her hubby to call me and pray for me, he called and prayed for me on phone, I could not say Amen, I was just crying,the pain was unbearable, after the prayers I felt a cold flush from my head to my foot,me that I can't walk or stand when it's starts, I had to crawl, I stood up immediately,my health was restored, the contraction stopped,baby sucks without me feeling the pains,since on Friday till today been Friday I have been fine. TRULY GOD STILL ANSWER PRAYERS,and distance is not a barrier...

God surprised me with a baby boy,after 2 girls, without tracking my ovulation..when I go for scan I used to tell them not to tell me the sex,I don't want to be gender disappointed.

I think I should be hanging my booth now..if not you might see me in 2023/2024.lolz...
