We have a top load with no agitator. It works just fine, gets clothes clean and leave no residue on the clothes. I have a Samsung top load washer without agitator. Love it, and don't have any of the issues some people have mentioned.

GSD are big dogs and keeping them outdoors is fine as long as they have shaded areas, sufficient water, and fly repellent etc. I would bring the dog indoors with extreme weather conditions such as hot days, cold nights, and wet weather.

They require a fair amount of exercise so keeping them indoors all day isn’t an option. But not giving them attention when they are outdoors isn’t ideal either.
