Hi All, I am yet to receive a decision from migri after applying on the 6th of June and submitting supplementary documents on the 27th June. This is because, the Finnish embassy in Abuja mistakenly routed my application to migri manually. So my decision is ready , but I can't see it online. Migri has said, that my decision will be sent to the Finnish embassy in Abuja. The Finnish embassy in Abuja, after having contacted them, are yet to receive my decision. This is very very frustrating. cry cry I therefore advise that, for those that are yet to be interviewed, pls, make sure it is routed through the e service online platform from the embassy in Abuja. I have been sending several emails and making several phone calls to no avail. Has any body here ever applied through manual means?? Pls how did you get your decision? Did you have to travel again to Abuja? Or was it sent via attachments to your email?

They didn't ask o. I just forgot to upload it initially. Truth is, same account is also my salary account and savings. My salary is more than 97k. And its the same account my sponsor paid in the 1.5m. He did 1m first, then 500k.

Hi every1,pls ve been a follower of this group..pls i need help,i was asked to supplement my application due to some amount dat entered my sponsor's account towards d time he deposited d 6720euros into my acct..which he has clarified to d best of his knowledge[my sponsor is my dad,and he works at FIRS n also into a business of basic food supply, jointly sponsored by my parents]..i used his salary acct n business acct n made it clear d business isn't registered
I added a letter of clarification of source of fund d very first time i uploaded my documents on enterfinland
And now deyve denied me of RP thinking my sponsor's source of fund is not secured....yet dey confirmed d fact dat huge amount still flow in and out of my sponsor's acct even after sending d 6720euros to me
Am thinking of appealing n i dont knw how to go about it...sisters n brothers in d house please help me
Goodness! When did this happen? Was it a large unusual sum that was deposited into your sponsor's account? Did you explain this in your letter of explanation? Are they asking for supplementary documents after they have denied the Rp? Sorry am asking all this. This is cos my mum made a deposit of 97k into my account prior to my application. And she's not my sponsor. I hope this isn't a red flag. Quite scary tho cry my application status is already saying "in progress" I need prayers now more than ever.

Depends on your bank. My bank did but that shouldn't be any problem since it's genuine. They hardly do, though.

Secondly, the tuition stuff won't affect this incoming set.

Thirdly, you'll only need the customer number if you want to communicate with the embassy or send your passport when requested.

Best of luck, dear.
Thanks a lot dear. I appreciate.
I smell your Rp around the corner. Decisions will be made soonest as long as you submit requested supplementary documents. I also advice you include the change of name evidence of your sponsor.
All the best dear

Hello Every one, its been ages. Had my interview on the 6th June and the questions were regular questions that have been put up here awhile ago. Thanks to all who shared experiences as it was really helpful.
A few concerns tho, first, I would like to confirm if all banks (verified banks) do call to confirm consent given to Embassy to verify your account. I use Gtb and nobody has called me to ask anything.
Secondly, since tuition has been introduced in Finnish university, and will commence next year August 2017, am wondering if we after being admitted for the first year, will pay tuition fees for the second year. Hope that doesn't mean that it would affect us next year, hence would have to fund account for the following year. Just wondering.
Thirdly, how do I use the customer number and diary on the portal to monitor application process?
I will appreciate your contributions. smiley

Good morning house.

Please has anyone used company as sponsor and was given rp without hassles. If yes, what where the steps you took?

Take for example, What did you state was your relationship with the company sponsoring you? etc.

Pls I need your advises. Thanks
Better still, use the owner of the company as your sponsor and provide all necessary docs like statements, CAC, profit and loss etc

This is where the letter of explanation/other letters can be very helpful.

In the introduction letter from your sponsor he should state that he is a partner in a firm where they share profit and he should include the agreements and a contract letter. He should also state that for example in the month of Jan he got X amount, February Y amount that can be traced to his bank statement.

He can also include the monthly Profit/Loss account of the firm or last financial year's balance sheet and profit/loss account.
Ok thanks. Will do that
TravelRe: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by anniekoko: 5:04pm On May 12, 2016
Let me explain better. He is a partner of the company and they share profits monthly depending on how much is made. His name is not in the CAC docs but there's an official agreement and a contract letter. Pls bosses in the house, I really need your advice.

Hmm..... This pay slips of a thing is what is holding me down oooo. Reference to this comment by @school drop out:

A) Documentation indicating sufficient funds for your living expenses in Finland.
1. Statement of account issued by your bank indicating all transactions to and from your bank account starting from the last 6 months until this date. Please note that the bank statement must indicate the account owner's name.
2. Please clarify with official documentation (e.g. bank statements indicating the transactions, pay slips, receipts indicating the cash deposits etc.) the origin of the origin of your funds.
3. If your funds are from employment, please deliver
a) your pay slips from the last 6 months
b) your employment contract
c) other documentation of income or financial assets
4. If someone has deposited funds to your account, please deliver a bank statement from the sponsor's bank account indicating all transactions from the last 6 months until the latest possible date. The bank statement must also indicate the transfers made to your account.
5. If someone is sponsoring your studies in Finland, please clarify where/from whom your sponsor received the funds for the deposit made to your account. Please provide following official documentation indicating the origin of the funds deposited on your sponsor's account:
-If your sponsor's funds are from employment, please deliver
a) sponsor's pay slips from the last 6 months
b) sponsor's employment contract
c) other documentation of income or financial assets
-If your sponsor's funds are from rental income, please deliver official documentation of the build-ing/flat/land area ownership. Also please deliver the rental agreement indicating the date of the agreement, the agreeing parties and the monthly rent.
-If your funds are from land trade, please deliver official documentation of the land trade, eg. offi-cial bill of sale indicating the date of the sale as well as the selling price.
-If your sponsor's funds are returned loans, please clarify with documentation if possible when and to whom your sponsor(s) gave loans and what were the amounts of the loans.
-If your sponsor is involved in a business enterprise, you are requested to deliver
a) a corporate bank statement
b) the latest balance sheet
c) a statement of profit and loss of the company
d) extract from the trade register
e) an official certificate indicating:
- the salary
- the dividend
- other payments your sponsor has received from the company in the last 6 months

I think if oyinbo say this is what they want, give them what they ask and there is no denial to giving you what you request. Anyways God they.
..... Just thinking.... You can arrange a pay slip nah, just make sure the ending balance of the slip correlates with his monthly deposits.
Hmm thanks. But what if his salary is not the same thing every month? Some months are higher than the others and payments into his account are regular and steady just that the amounts paid in are variable. Pls what do I do?

katolistic:
They just asked basic questions like
Why finland, why the course, who is sponsoring you, what relationahip does ur first degree has with the course your planning to study, do you intend to work?, any Job experience?

As you answer he/she types the answers the prints the answer for you to read and make corrections if any.

After that the questionare part.
If for sponsor, they would ask for his organization where he works and the address, monthly salary, phone number, email and home address. List of other business or assets if he has.

That was it dear, i was out in less than 30mins
So when they asked if you intend to work , what did you answer?

SCHOOLDROPOUT:
Boss, sorry for the late response. NL dey do me strong thing recently. No know wetin I do o. Lol.

You can book an appointment forthwith, provided you have your admission letter already.

Secondly, just ensure you have all other requisite documents handy as you'd have to send them at least two weeks prior to your interview date. And yeah, you have to send originals including your international passport and ensure that you have a scratch card included for the verification of your olevels.

I believe you can also do the online application till you submit the hard docs two weeks before. Furthermore, the OLE_OPI form in pdf. Format should be downloaded, filled meticulously, printed and attached to the hard copies you will be sending to the embassy.

Lastly, ensure you have two photocopies of each of your documents as this will be requested on your interview day. The payment slip for your RP should be with you too. Feel free to ask further questions.
Happy new month bro, abeg explain the scratch card thingy. This is the first time am hearing of such. I wrote o levels several years ago oo huh
