Yes the old covenant is not directed to us and is only relevant as far as historical knowledge is concerned so we know we're we are coming from. However God has established a new and better covenant with us through christ, why should I cling on to what God himself has declared obsolete and done away with Jesus is the son of Yaweh and he does the will of Yaweh because it was Yaweh that sent him so how can you be asking me daft questions of whether jesus is better than Yaweh when everything that jesus did was 100% the will of Yaweh?

Special pleading is when arguement are inconsistent by standards of judgement, when information are hidden, made vague and thought are left with an open end, INCOMPLETE. It is when 'PLEADING' must be done "JUST ACCEPT JESUS AND YOU BE SAVED". Salvation without PROOF. While PROOF is not the same as EXPLANATION.

The essence of Jesus coming to die on the cross takes its root from the same OLD TESTAMENT you have DECLEARED that your faith depends not on it. Except if the Bible has some part not inspired by the Holy Spirit. And how do we know which one is inspired by the Holy Spirit or not or which is fraud or authentic?

Whatever happened in the old testament was not addressed to me as a christian neither does my faith depend on it.
