EmeeNaka: The Wema Bank Account Flywire generates usually expires after 5mins. They will never give you the same bank account after the 5mins elapses and Yes, the account I paid into started with 7 and not 01 as the bank told you. I must also state that I wasn't asked to download Flywire app before making the payment. This is strange... |

Oviebright: Please I'd really need advice from an experienced person here as soon as possible I got admission in Algonquin with due date of July 23, but when I tried paying today accessing the payment method printed in the admission letter, it indicates that you can make payment through flywire. So I proceeded and clicked, on the pay through flywire method and flywire requested I download the app and create an an with them (flywire) which I did it indicated that I'd have to fund my flywire account then after funding it I can make payment to Algonquin college through flywire. So I click on the fund flywire account only for them to generate a wema bank account, which happened today so I went back and click in fund my flywire account again but they keep generating different wema bank account anytime I go back and forth. And they requested I pay the money to the wema bank account with in naira, account, buy keeping generating different account numbers anytime I go back and forth. So I decided to go to wema bank branch here and they said they have no such accounts in their banks and urged me not to pay a dime to that account. The account numbers generated all starts with 71 and the wema branch here said their accounts usually starts with 01 or 02 that they don't recognize this account numbers flywire keeps generating in their name. I'm lost at this point. Did you apply through an agent? Please can i see the admission letter.. You cant pay via flywire with your nigerian ATM card and you dont need to create an account to pay. |

PLEASE HELP YES you will require a study Permit extension. |

Kenthro: Is it true that people going for undergraduate degree are less likely to get refused visa and are faster to process It is true that people that have a BSC and applying for visa for another bsc will very much be denied based on PURPOSE OF VISIT. No route (normal or NSE or masters or bsc or pgd or diploma) is fast. All are treated with the same speed. |

kennyjoy: Oh okay thanks, I will try and figure out to use the Flutterwave to make the payment. I’m so glad to be here.
Aside from that I have some question to asked regarding study in Canada uni, Ive written Toefl IBT for about 2times now I scored 66 in my recent test( Reading 17, Listening11, Speaking 20, Writing 18. My BestScore is 71. Though I’ve decided to take another test I’m not giving up lol, but just of recent I read about some Uni in Canada that exempt Nigeria from the English language Proficiency requirements so i decided and I want to give a try as Brandon University exempt Nigeria from the English requirement too.
I want to apply for an Undergraduate programs
Please house I need your suggestion and contribution to this Thanks in advance. My 2kobo... Do you have a bsc already? if yes, why not pgd or masters. If you have IELTS, you can upload the one with your best score. i say this cos i have seen more than once persons with overall score of 5.5 still get visa approved. Therefore why not try that but ensure your sop is tight o. The IELTS is nit necessary for admission but rather visa application. |

ILoveDLord: Hi guys
Been a while here.
Is there any restriction for student visa based on age if one is going for an undergraduate program? Someone said there is a new rule from the Canadian Embassy for Nigerians and Africans. That if you are more than 18 and apply for study visa that the application will be rejected if you are going for an undergraduate program or diploma, especially if you already had an undergraduate degree before.
Can anyone confirm this? I doubt it though Why would someone even consider a diploma or another undergraduate study despite already having an undergraduate degree. its a straight denial my brother. Age is not a barrier when it comes to education but it is when you are 25 and above and going for an undergraduate study even if you dont have a degree yet cos convincing the VO will be difficult eg- what were you doing since your waec or neco BLA BLA BLA? |

Mobi22: I know few persons personally that has gone to Canada thru the “nursing program” It depends on how you package your application and satisfy the visa officer at the end. The only person i know that has been successful is my classmate back in 2007 when Canada was still extremely easy to migrate to and less crowd but now, too many crowd and more restrictions. It is well |

tobe1997: What are my chances of staying over after a one year graduate certificate program. What are my options You can only stay over by extending your stay by applying for another 1yr or 2yrs admission, you will also need to show proof of financial cover for that extra one year at least. Apply for this admission 6-8months before you graduate from the first one o, if not, you might not have enough time to process the extension forcing you to come back to Nigeria to start all over again. |

SAF2K: Good day Fam, i have a concern,do I need to explain a lump sum to my account that was used for sch fees payment, being that the account in question holds my pof balance before the lump sum for school fees?. My pof balance is unchanged after the school fee payment What was the transaction description in the account when you applied? since its for school fees, you have to explain it was for school fees with the date it hit your account and the date it left your account. Also convert the equivalent into naira to show thats the exact amount that hit your account. Finally, attach evidence of the school fees paid. |

chichinwanks96: What if you want to do your Masters in Nursing degree because that's the course I applied for?
I will advise you pursue a different discipline cos visa wont be issued as long as you are an international not in canada using a nursing admission to enter canada. It will not work as long as you are an international not presently in Canada. As earlier explained, nursing is a regulated professional course offered to persons in Canada only not an international. The school will issue you an admission but getting a visa, thats where the issue is.. |
