Omg I’m typing this with tears in my eyes. I applied for study permit since November 16 2020 but after emailing for the past 2 weeks and messaging an MP yesterday, the application is out. I’ve been rejected for personal asset and financial status. The thing is that the account used had millions of naira but rejected still. It’s been years since the last time I shed a tear but today, I shed them like a little baby. I don’t know what to do right now

Please i have few questions to ask y'all and gurus in the house too.
I graduated with Upper credit(3.16, 3.09)respectively in ND and HND business Admin.

1) Will i be able to apply for MBA programs with that, does canada see ND and HND as 4 years program?

2)If i am to apply for PGD, do i need both degrees or just HND alone with Waec cert?

3)Please does Canada universities and colleges accept WES EVALUATED TRANSCRIPT, this is because my school said they dont give student copy transcript , that they can only send it directly to WES or to the school.

Please house, sending it to each school i want to apply to will cost me 75k each and it will waste alot of time before they even send or receive, i feel so down and discouraged already with this development.

4)Please those that applied to Colleges(Humber, Cambrian,Seneca)etc and any university with your ND and HND, how did you do it, did u use Wes too?

5)what does statement of mark mean?
I saw it as a requirement for humber college nd im confused.


Please gurus and those that have gained admission plz reply. Let me be Encouraged make depression no enter abeg.

1) You cant gain admission for a masters with the HND
2) Make use of the HND only, include your waec and waec scratch card.
3) All schools accept wes but its not mandatory as well for some schools especially colleges therefore dont bother applying for wes. As par your school not sending, what i did was to create an email using the intended schools email and gave it to the school, they sent the transcript. So, for that situation, you need to be smart, if you know anybody in canada who can give you his email, you try that or You can write an address for them to send it to here in Nigeria.
4)Colleges accept docs as there are. They dont need it to be evaluated by Wes plus when applying for admission, you are uploading everything the online portal
5)Never heard of that and not connected to canadian admission. If you are using an agent, always verify all he/she tells you here before proceeding plus MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACCESS TO ALL YOUR ADMISSSION/VISA PORTAL !!!!

You cant get a masters with your HND likewise you cant get funding

You will need to read the thread and ask all questions here whereby the gurus will respond to all inquiries..

Otherwise i can assist you but i do it for a fee.

Has she done the medicals.. Thats the default way it appears but once medicals is done, it will change to medical passed

If someone doesn't get a ghost update, does it mean they've disposed the person's file?
Must someone see a ghost update? Like is it by luck one finds a ghost update or does it clear if one does not login?

Its not a must, a ghost update will hit your app before a ppr. A ghost update could still come and a denial.

So all you should look out for is your ppr not necessarily the ghost update

same here. i had to send another mail to Nairobi yesterday because my employer who approved a study leave asked for feedback since i indicated i will be leaving in August, they ought to have gotten my handover and actively looking for a replacement by now.

i never expected it to take this long. the wait is traumatizing, the self-doubt, fear, sleepless nights, anxiety. It will end in praise and it will become a thing of the past soon.

Omo, this is why people draft study leave themselves. You dont inform your employer about your travel plans cos what if it doesnt go through, visa denied, present job position in jeopardy.

Check your portal. On the side that says " if we need any information or document, we will let you know", did it change to "we have received....". Though they dont update or notify you of receipt. But as long as you have sent it, they have received it

You will need to draft a short letter notifying them of the OVERSIGHT as you never intentionally withheld the information. You have to send this immediately after your biometrics is done and updated on your portal

Good Morning all, I hope you all are doing well. I have a singular honor to congratulate all those that have gotten their PPR approved. For some couple of days now I have been emotionally down because my agent (Ufitfly) has been the main reason for the delay I’m experiencing in my study permit. Ufitfly has made payment for my visa application fee 2times, I keep receiving chargeback letters from the embassy. I have taken away the work from them. Now the third payment was done on July 13, 2021 by a family relative currently living in Canada payment receipt together with explanation letter has been forwarded to the embassy till today nothing has change in my application even to pass my medical. I deferred my admission from May 03, to September 08, 2021. Now is embassy going to treat my application as July or still January as nothing has been done in my application. Agent(s) no help at all.
Chargeback Timeline:
First payment: January 23, 2021 submitted application, January 28, 2021 Biometrics.
April 21, 2021 I received a chargeback letter from the embassy. On April 28, 2021 second payment was made by Ufitfly my agent. Payment receipt together with explanation letter uploaded to embassy. Got mad on July 7, 2021 as I received a second chargeback letter. Immediately I saw the letter I put a call to Ufitfly that they should STOP with whatever thing they are doing and handover my application details to me as my life is not safe in their hands on july 12, 2021 the returned 99k I paid them as at January I paid them for the visa application and my login details. You see how wicked Nigerian agent(s) are playing with somebody’s future.

Hi Guys my friend applied for his study visa this year March with upfront medicals, he got a request letter from IRCC to send an updated Letter of Acceptance from his school, he sent it early this morning around 2 am for September intake, he got a correspondence letter from IRCC around 9am for the validity of his biometrics (BVL). Please is everything ok? He's really scared

If he has done medicals,

Tell him congratulations.. He will get a ppr

I have a classmate in UCW MBA with 2.2 another did her masters in Thompson Rivers with 2.2.. Although, she changed DLI and course after her first semester in Thompson rivers.. so it’s possible.

In study permit application for Canada �� after biometrics when following the normal student route ,how long time would it take before a medical test can be asked to be carried out ?

Ahhh.. you can not gain admission for a masters with 2.2.. Your best bet is a PGD

Please could someone help me to respond to my question. I submitted a web form last Monday, choosing Nigeria as my visa office, and the message displayed was the webform will be sent to Lagos office. But from going thru this thread it seems I should have choose Kenya as the processing country. Do I need to resend this webform this time to nairobi office or will the Lagos office that were they likely recipient of the first webform, forward it to the appropriate visa office in this case nairobi office? Please your responses are urgently needed

You dont need to choose any place.. as long as the webform has gotten to LAGOS, LAGOS will send the same mail or webform to the appropriate office handling your application. They know with the help of your UCI and APPLICATION NUMBER.

YOU CAN RESEND THE WEBFORM AGAIN IF YOU WISH.. ITS SAFE

Yes you can but see what you can do... Mail the admission office to know how long the program will be taken online.

My spouse wanted to start her Canada school processing for next year programs either Summer/Spring 2022 or Fall 2022, I have some questions and I would be glad if I can get answer to them I know it’s raining of PPRS today, to all Gurus in the house please y’all contribution will be highly regarded.

Firstly, She an HND Graduate in Computer Science(Lower credit) and Ive be researching for colleges that offer PGD/ PGC 1/2years programs and some course related to Computer science but My Questions is can Lower credit grade got her an admission to any colleges in Canada for 1/2years Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Certificate?

Does anyone know colleges that exempt Nigeria student for the English language Proficiency requirement? Though I’m still considering her writting IELTS or TOEFL.

Is it a must we use WES or ICAS for her HND results evaluations coz I read some few college accept official transcript from the School?

Please Gurus in the house, I need an insight of the first thing to do before we start apply for those school. Abeg make una contributed.

1) yes you can get admission for a PGD in computer science.. Look for related courses ensure you have at least lil experience in the area or computer science. That will help with meeting the admission requirements for the program

2) almost all colleges dont require ielts to gain admission. Try Conestoga college, humber, Seneca, lambton etc. But with the wave of ppr now, ielts could help you come visa but no guarantees cos most people with ppr didnt write ielts.

3) most colleges dont ask for that. Conestoga college dont ask for wes r icas.

To apply for admission is quite easy and mostly just uploading the admission requirements, like cv, transcript, international passport etc. But first find the course you wish to go for first before, check if the admission for the session is available. Then you can apply.

You can actually make payment on Flywire with Naira ATM card. I still made a payment of $365CAD as at June on my Flywire account through the Debit/Credit card in NGN payment method and not, International Bank Transfer in CAD.

OKAY... Seems flywire is different now unlike before
