A very unfortunate situation created by APC power grabbers who fought Jonathan with imported terrorists before running to Kaduna to beg Buhari out of retirement, to end Jonathan as a one term president.
Is there any other reason why the master strategist of Nigerian politics did this apart from wicked selfishness? What other reasons could have motivated him to do this
Lekby25: These opposition should stop their rubbish. The people that changed the history of the world, what certificates do they have. The Wright Brothers that gave the world plane, they never went to school, Thomas Edison had no formal education the person that gave the world telephone we are using today had no certificate.
Which one of the people you mentioned went to Chicago university without primary and secondary education
MEGAWATCH: Please explain what you mean be NAVIGATING HIS WAY TO THE TOP.....
It means even if he was killing people to the top he should be celebrated abi?
Oh TRIBALISM has finished us.
The same people who were mad with Jonathan are trying so hard to paint a devil white.
What a country.
🥸
You have hit a nerve here with this statement that reflects the murder of the 1999 presumed AD candidate, Engineer Funsho Williams in the run up to the 2007 election, which was won by then politically unknown Fashola to continue JagaBandioti a-looter progreThief master plan.
No one has been made to account for the murder, which happened five years after Obasanjo’s AGF Bola Ige was assassinated in 2001. This was two years before Obasanjo captured southwest states except Lagos. Rather than deal with the murderers, sanctimonious hypocrite Obasanjo made the most prominent suspect a senator from Agodi prison.
Lagos was apparently spared in 2003 because Atiku stood up for Tinubu, just as he stood up for Obasanjo to win reelection despite northerners asking Baba Iyabọ to respect his own promise to do one term like Mandela.
Was 2003 not the year that Buhari first asked us for the job of president and we refused him, even though he locked down northern votes from then until 2015 when master strategist Tinubu made him APC change messiah to end Jonathan as a one term president?
Strange is an understatement for the Jagaban of Borgu.
He may even be a Nupe/ Tapa northerner who was adopted by Iyaloja Mogaji hence why he has always betrayed Yoruba people to favour his fellow northerners.
The problem I have with this opposition is that they keep talking about what school certificate or class mate he has or not instead of focusing on important stuff like the plans he has to lift people from poverty
If the opposition strategy is to talk about school certificate and where he was born like they did the last time, then I don't think they plan to win an election
if you are 18 years, you will be more interested in school certificate banters online and other nonsense
if you are 20-29, you are interested in policies for job creations
if you are 30-40 years, you are more interested in policies to improve your standard of living
if you are 45 and above, you will be interested in policies to protect your investment
Since you are not boring, could you please tell us what Tinubu has achieved in job creation, improving standards of living and protecting investments
What percentage of your daily 24 hours is devoted to talking about these non boring things to everyone around you and beyond?
SocialFinance: With this, obedience will still ask what's Tinubu doing with subsidy savings.
They would have been happy if Tinubu also use his 4 years to cut grass around university and sweep aso Rock like the Lamba man of agulu
This is better than building schools hospital and roads
That is the wrong thing to ask.
Smart people are asking for the jobs promised by the master strategist.
Intellectual people are asking how many pictures of incomplete projects are needed to pay for goods and services in the absence of jobs to earn a living in dignity.
Why would he rig elections when Obi did him the favour in the SE states where their 100% votes were indirectly for the master strategist in Nigerian politics?
lexylaw40: The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale, on Wednesday stated that the “President-elect” Bola Tinubu asked popular economist, Prof Pat Utomi to step down for Peter Obi in the buildup to the 2023 general elections.
Akinwale made this revelation while he appeared as a guest on a radio programme on 101.7 YES FM, Ibadan, Oyo State, while alleging that Obi received campaign funds from Utomi, whom he described as Tinubu's "son."
The LP aspirant, who spoke in Yoruba language, said "In the buildup to the 2023 elections, Obi who had purchased the nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), suddenly announced his exit from the party.
"Initially, Pat Utomi had secured the LP's presidential ticket, but when Peter Obi said he resigned from the PDP and joined the LP. Bola Tinubu, a master political strategist, quickly told Utomi, that everyone knows to be his son to step down for Obi.
"The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
"What Peter Obi didn't know is much more that what he knows, he started collecting campaign funds from Utomi, while Tinubu was giving the money to Utomi.
"This went on until Obi's presidential campaign got to a stage it went beyond target. Obi was used without him knowing," Akinwale said after announcing his departure from the party.
Obi defected to the LP after resigning his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also withdrawing from the presidential race under the party.
The former governor consequently joined the race for the party’s presidential ticket, while Professor Pat Utomi, in June 2022 stepped down for him to emerge as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, unopposed in Asaba, Delta State.
MartinCorridon: Tinubu is a master strategist. Give it to him.
See what opponents are busy arguing about
The petrol subsidy removal failed. Forex market crash finished businesses. Poverty has skyrocketed.
Yet people are writing headlines over his primary school certificate Really ?
Before DSS come carry me.... His opponents should focus on the " great benefits" of his policies. Go out, run adverts, speak to people in the streets
Keep psyching them up that there's 4 more years of this.
Yet some are doing CIA / FBI certificate verification. Tinubu very DELIBERATELY keeps things mysterious so as to misdirect his opponents. He's very smart at that.
He sent them on a wild goose chase with the Chicago stuff, they fell for it and still falling. Someone who got millions of Obidients to campaign for him by insulting him in 2023. Still signed them up for 2027 .
Excellent post.
This was how we focused on Buhari’s certificate instead of his terrible record as military dictator, until he got the job of president in 2015 and destroyed PDP’s legacy in:
- cheap petrol - cheap dollars - low debt burden - low unemployment - less insecurity - greater productivity - more shared prosperity
Buccalcavity2: First of, Bishop said INEC staff are APC members without proof. That is a lie. Charles had to help him. He couldn't hide his partisanship.
Burob: What truth, that his citizens are just too lazy, 3rd in the world for reproduction .
Dey born pikin like rabbits.
Do you think that the citizens are having kids like rabbits because APC has made more of them jobless, extreme poverty paupers with no other form of recreational activity than bedroom gymnastics?
Can you imagine that Tinubu is so clueless about job creation that his wife suggested akara frying as replacement for the 50 million jobs he promised?
People were obviously too busy working and earning a living wage in dignity during 16 years of PDP prosperity that propelled us to the biggest African economy,
Heffalump: Tinubu tasted the bitter kola and blew it away sharply.
Is that because the balablu bulaba town hall clown prefers Keyamo and Reno's Chicago mix
Racoon: Festus Keyamo Defends Tinubu From Drug Trafficking, Says Tinubu Mistakenly Shared Flats With Drug Lords
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo, has distanced the All Progressive Congress presidential candidata, Bola Tinubu, from being a drug baron who was involved in the traffic of narcotics in the United States.
Keyamo, who also doubles as APC Presidential Campaign spokesperson, noted that the former governor of Lagos State only shared a block of flat with drug barons about 30 years ago in the US.
His reaction is coming following documents of a Chicago District Court indicting and convicting Tinubu of drug dealings and money laundering in 1993.
The document which emerged online two days ago, described APC standard-bearer as a drug baron, adding that Tinubu entered a plea bargain, leading to the forfeiture of his assets to US authorities in 1993
It was also pointed out that Tinubu forfeited the sum of $460, 000 dollars in his bank account at First Heritage Bank to the US government.
Speaking on Wednesday on Channels TV, Mr Keyamo dismissed such claims, insisting that Tinubu was linked to drug peddlers who were his neighbours.
He said: “What happened was that Tinubu went to open an account. The address which he used in opening the account was the address used by these people. I think some blocks of flats. Maybe, he was happy to be in that block of flats too.
“So, they now link it that the other people they were investigating for narcotics are in the same address used by Asiwaju to open that account.’’
yarimo: Senator shehu sani but Mr onaiyekan was partisan even in 2023 ,he campaign for obi as Christian candidate. very unfortunate Mr onaiyekan is now claiming patriotic religious leader.
If you don't share credible sources of where the respected cleric campaigned for Obi in 2023, then how do we know who the unfortunate partisan is between you and the patriotic cleric
AMINDA: Here you go. This could have set Nigeria on fire but Buhari was a patriot. Today, the same people seek to vilify him.
Obasanjo's hypocrisy knows no bounds, just like his hatred for the country that has given him so much since he joined the army several decades ago. That hatred made him refuse to honour his word for one term in 2003 like Mandela, to those who made him president. Atiku's error of standing by him is why we have the south being president for 17 years while the north has only 11 years by 2027.
If Obasanjo did not hate his serial benefactor Atiku so much, he would not have fallen into the trap of master strategist Tinubu for naive Obi in 2023. Of what use was his crying over spilled milk

epainos: It takes a lot of gut to remove subsidies and I am so happy this is happening. Subsidies habe killed Nigeria.
What is going to happen? Govt will keep on doing it, and they will over do it. Lol. Then, everyone will sit tight and the fight will be real. A balance will be reached somehow. Lol.
For example, govt will want to remove all subsidies on agric too. Lol. Thats when they will realise that ha...mmmba!!! Lol.
But sincerely speaking....electric, gas, oil, subsidies must go. People will sit tight now. Discos will go wild with illegal connections and deal ruthlessly with their dishonest staff memebers. Thats it. All the chicken change bribes were and there will end.
Customers too will start raising alutas at a slight cheat from Discos.
Also, solar will take over. The lithium industry will come into effects. Govt will quickly start taxing solar panels mounted on roofs. Lol. Na so na. Discos will be proactive. Guess what...people will start installing more energy than they need and sell to Discos. You find customers taking weekly or monthly payments from Discos soon instead of what is happening now.
This is making the system work out by itself instead of forcing it to work with subsidies. Subsidies only created opportunists in Nigeria because we took it too far. We should habe balanced it a long time ago.
I support using subsidies the right way and not using it toncreat more problems.
Everyone will sit tight. Everyone will be fine.
free prepaid is still subsidy.
Why should we sit tight for subsidy removal that has failed to reduce debt burden and has failed to improve basic government services and utilities like education, healthcare, law & order, security etc?
What is the wisdom in doing that for those who are not Stockholm syndrome sufferers
Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun made this known at the end of the inaugural Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja. Mr. Edun said that the benefit of the subsidy removal will be plough back into various sectors to improve business environment for local and foreign investment. He added that with the increased revenue from subsidy removal, various palliatives have been made available to cushion its effect on a short, medium and long-term basis.
Ofunaofu: Report: Current Govt Added More Debt in Two Years Than Nigeria Accumulated in 55 Years
• Decries Nigeria’s debt service-to-revenue ratio
•Urges FG to declare fiscal emergency
A new policy brief has warned that Nigeria’s worsening debt profile and weak revenue generation have pushed the country into a dangerous fiscal position, with the current administration accumulating more debt in two years than Nigeria recorded during its first 55 years after independence.
The report, released by the Alliance for Economic Research and Ethics LTD/GTE, a Nigerian policy think tank, argued that the country’s debt crisis has evolved into a governance and revenue emergency, as debt servicing obligations now exceed the federal government’s retained earnings. > > According to the think tank, Nigeria’s public debt rose sharply from N87.38 trillion in June 2023 to N159.28 trillion by the end of 2025, with President Bola Tinubu’s administration accounting for about N65.9 trillion of the increase within its first two years in office.
The organisation in the brief titled: “Nigeria Is Borrowing to Breathe—and the Clock Is Ticking”, noted that Nigeria accumulated only about N12.06 trillion in debt from independence in 1960 up to 2015, meaning the current administration added more than five times that amount in just 24 months.
The report stated that while previous governments also contributed significantly to the country’s rising debt burden, the speed of accumulation under the current administration had intensified concerns over fiscal sustainability.
“President Bola Tinubu’s administration has added a further N65.9 trillion in just two years. To put that in perspective: it took Nigeria’s first 55 years of independence to accumulate N12 trillion in debt. The current administration has added more than five times that amount in 24 months,” it argued.
It recalled that Nigeria briefly became almost debt-free externally after the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo secured an $18 billion Paris Club debt relief package in 2005 and paid $12 billion to extinguish about $30 billion in external obligations.
AMINDA: The same way he never allowed Buhari and then Tinubu right? Have you forgotten the video he made on the day the election results for Tinubu was about to be announced, asking Nigerians to reject the outcome?
How many litres of petrol can you buy with the money from selling off the iPhone 17 stomach infrastructure?
Will the petrol last you for another four years of Tinubu failing to crash petrol below N185?
Deltafirstson: Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.
In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.
Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.
Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.
At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.
However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.
“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.
anonimi: Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC
January 19, 2015
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.
On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.
But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.
It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.
43Ronin: Onaiyekan is not adeboye. Adeboye is a typical example of why its easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter God's kingdom, because riches and wealth keeps your mouth shut, and your eyes blind
Adeboye should hide his head in shame, just like that cultist founder who called Jonathan's wife a mere domestic appendage and shepopotamus.
They have shown their tribalist badges for the destruction of Nigeria under Tinubu's balablu bulaba cluelessness.
ibtommy: . Hmmm. Bring your evidence and let's talk. Stop saying what you cannot defend.
Terrorism in Nigeria is deeper than you see it. Let Obi get there (pure daydreaming anyways), he would blame himself when he's face with reality. I am not saying Tinubu is doing well o.
Is terrorism deeper because Tinubu and APC invited terrorists to make Nigeria ungovernable before the Jagaban of Borgu went to Kaduna to beg his fellow northerner and 2011 expired Buhari to come out of retirement and make Jonathan a one term president
anonimi: What group of politicians is more wicked than A-looter Propaganda Conmen, APC
epainos: In Tinubu's case, he wasn't looking for Buhari's favor anymore. He knew he had no backing from Buhari and that Buhari cannot stop him further. He played his mumu card with Buhari before election because he had to stay in the party. Going to another party would mean starting all over. So, he reluctantly supported Buhari for his second bid even when many said he was stupid. But as soon as the election time reached, he calculated who he had gotten, and he moved. That is the game. He moved when Buhari was not innthe country. A well calculated game. By the time Buhari could react, he had locked ElRufai, Aisha Buhari, and many other people loyal to Buhari. Those ones just told him to use non confrontational method so he doesnt destroy his legacy. Unfortunately, no one could match Tinubu in the primary. They tried using Lawan Nd consensus candidate, Bola's team squashed it. Then, Emewerey decided to volunteer himself as the stumbling block by removing money in circulation. Unfortunately, Bola is the bullion man himself. I dont support him, I am just analysing the event.
In Atiku's case, the OBJ's punch is still hurting. A punch that has been hurting him since and he hadn't gotten over. A sign for you is when Obi was his vice, and Baba soften a bit. You too saw how he almost won. But as soon as Obi left him, Baba started again. ObJ is a reasonable Atiku should hold tightly to Obi cos everyone can see that Obi is real choice. Baba would go for Tinubu if there is no other choice. But Atiku is not a grounded politician. He has too much faith in his money. Unfortunately, he met a Bola who had much more. Lol.
People who felt they had arrived but were killed are: Osinbajo, Ambode, Aregbesola, Baba chair or wetin be his name,(even Buhari's camp dont recognise him again). Fumarate is another clown. I can go on.
Do mumu when you know you had not gotten what you want.
How has this analysis made Nigeria better under APVC than it was under PDP?
I guess you are rooting for Obi (un)consciously, since you think that he made Atiku almost win in 2019 after saying that Tinubu made sure Buhari won?
What favour does Atiku need from Obasanjo now that Tinubu no longer needed from Buhari in 2023?
If Atiku has too much faith in his money, why did he support Obasanjo in 2003 instead of respecting the rotation agreement for power to return to the north, based on Obasanjo's promise to do a one term like Mandela?
Reference: Governors do not control macro economics. They do not have a separate central bank to manage monetary policy. They do not have the Federal Ministry of Finance to control trade tariffs and many other tools that make for an independent economy.
And that is why the standard of living of a man living in Cross-River is no better or worse than a person living in Kaduna.
Even where states can invest in infrastructure, education, industrialization, etc, all these are done or undine by Federal policies.
Not until true Federalism or the restructuring that waters down the power of the centre concerning the economy.
Even in highly structurally independent countries like the United States, the state of the economy rests squarely in Washington DC and in the White House to be specific.
Just as insecurity failures are the sole responsibility of the president, who is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and to whom the IGP reports!
seunmsg: Which nonsense truth? Speaking irresponsibly is not speaking the truth. Onaiyekan is just an Obidient in cassock. He’s not beyond reproach. Even the pope was dragged in the mud by the Donald Trump presidency when he meddled unnecessarily in political affairs. So, who is Onaiyekan that I cannot suggest he be defrocked? He messed up and so deserved the dragging.
What did the Cardinal say about the destruction of Nigeria that Tinubu himself has not admitted to
anonimi: May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu
According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”
On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.
Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.
ibtommy: . Don't mind them. So, Trump should enter Iran snd start fighting when he has the military to handle that? The way some people think with their anus amazes me. I just wish Obi could win the Presidential election. That is when he would see the reality, especially in the corridor of security. He beg to run back, but it'd be too late cos we wouldn't allow him.
Was Tinubu thinking with his anus when he was hounding Jonathan after inviting terrorists to destroy Nigeria
Lithiumite: Onaiyekan was crassly irresponsible, I was shocked that a man of such eminence entrusted with the responsibility to shepherd a creed of millions can be so garrulous and downright unpretentious of bias........I am really ashamed where we are supposed to find wisdom we find tomfoolery, its appalling, then what hope for the country, wisdom is really profitable to direct.
He has brought his cassock into the murky water right in the open and what becomes of that is expected.
Tomfoolery is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the balablu bulaba town hall clueless clown in Aso Rock.
flokii: The clergyman probably thinks like the Agulu fraud he supports.. they want the President to enter the forests in Oyo, Kwara, Kogi, Bauchi, Borno etc. and be the one negotiatiating terms of release with terrorists.
Just imagine how low people can go because of partisan politics.
No one can go lower than the Jagaban of Borgu who invited terrorists to destroy Nigeria so that he could go to Kaduna to beg Buhari out of retirement to make Jonathan a one term president.
Who else has done something as wicked as that? Who else
ajailer: After all these years, Atiku is yet to learn a single thing in politics. Someone should shut the geriatric up or maybe take away the pen he is using to reply Obj, Obj has no ambition again, so playing in the mud is not a big deal for him unlike Atiku.
Btw, I pray Atiku never wins 2027 or 2031 presidential election.
Did Buhari have any ambition in 2023 when Tinubu reminded him of his tv crying drama because he called him expired in 2011
