phemmie06: One thing common to Nigeria politicians is shady projects.
The masses are not requesting for too much, just give us good roads, this is the only project that both young and old, rich or poor uses and that is what they all neglected.
How can you construct a road and collapse with a year...... such money should be refunded.
Do you mean that poor and old don't use healthcare centres, primary and secondary schools, pipe borne water supply, law & order etc provided by well paid civil servants
Vision101: You share lies like kolanut. Primary and secondary school education in Lagos have always been free in Lagos state right from the days of Tinubu as governor. It includes free textbooks and WAEC fees.
How can it be free with less than 5% schools owned by the progreThief governments of Tinubu, Fasjhola, Ambode and Sanwo-Olu after 27 years of the master strategist's lootocacy plan?
yarimo: Turaki a whole SAN allow himself to be mislead by I pass my neighbor generator engineer Mr makinde.
For 27 years of Tinubu master plan by himself, Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo Olu, increased state budget 100 times. Nevertheless they all failed to employ enough professionals teachers to make education free for all children.
Abi you know if the progreThief politicians have employed as many as 19,500 teachers like Makinde did in five years?
chiiraq802: Go play am 4 bet if you ur mind dey..... no be cho cho cho!!!
B4 3pm Inec don announce Tinubu winner.
As things stand now, you may be right but with a lot of work by Nigerians whose APC extreme poverty and insecurity shege, Tinubu has worsened, the master strategist may be jobless next year.
As jobless as many Nigerians who he has failed to create 150 million jobs promised.
spiSeyi: Olubadan is trying hard to sell Ibadan to T!nubu and poke Seyi Makinde in the eyes just because he refused to become a stooge whereas Ibadan ppl no send Ladoja and T!nubu, they will soon be put in their places.. Ibadan o raye radarada (Ibadan no get time for nonsense)
zoedew: Awolowo said that much back then but Akinjide, Akinloye and Akintola chose ignorance instead. Now that the offspring of the ignorant have become terrorists folks are complaining about them!
Is JagaBandit of Borgu the modern version of Akinloye and Akintola?
IamPatriotic: Where do estate residents expect the scavengers to settle? One way or another, everyone will bear the consequences of years of failure to educate Northern children. So, for now, nobody should be complaining about them. Meanwhile, the worst is yet to come. The growing population of uneducated Northern children and youths is a time bomb 💣 waiting to explode.
Are we bearing the brunt of failure to educate southern children, or we should just ignore the four fingers pointing at us when we point one at northerners?
Is there any southern state that has more than 5% schools owned by government, like the horrible situation in Lagos
Is there any southern governor who employed 19,500 teachers like Makinde?
flokii: PBAT has outperformed all his predecessors and 2027 will be his reward with another 4years to continue working for a prosperous Nigeria.
I can still recall the decay under PDP. how airport runways had potholes, posing serious danger to Nigerian lives.. yet they did nothing, showed no concern, instead were busy embezzling money.
Enter Abuja now and see all the transformation happening.. most highways in South that were not motorable for many years despite being route for trailers, trucks, containers etc. are either getting facelift or being reconstructed. Yet they tell you to vote for a failure with no record of good governance over the amiable City boy from Lagos.
Indeed he has outperformed all other presidents in wrecking Nigeria with fake promises.
Abi you are buying petrol for less than N185? Are you buying dollars for N300? How many people do you know who are enjoying electricity that APC says it’s adequately available for 150 million Nigerians?
How many people do you know who are part of the master strategist’s 150 million new jobs, paid on the basis of N70,000 minimum wage?
Are these promises and announcements part of Tinubu’s balablu bulaba propaganda lootocracy ?
Are these the kind of pacesetter, progressive governance achievements of private-sector focused Makinde that Tinubu and Wike are so jealous of, that they threw fire into Oyo state but were put to shame by the governor's werey la fi n wo werey Ibadan Oluyole fighting spirit?
Those who have failed to deliver governance outcomes in Lagos and Rivers states despite humongous revenues don't want any other leader to do good for the sovereign people who allow them to SERVE us in public office temporarily.
Is that not a shame? A big shame
iwaeda: Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Friday said the abduction of pupils and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area occurred just hours after he declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election.
Makinde made the remark while addressing a meeting with Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed and leaders of the Allied Peoples Movement in Bauchi, recalling that Oyo had not recorded a similar incident during his seven years in office before the May 15 attack.
“For seven years, we didn’t witness anything like this in Oyo State. I declared to run for the presidency of Nigeria at four o’clock, and by 9 a.m. the following morning, the children were abducted,” Makinde said.
Hours after Makinde’s remarks in Bauchi, the Presidency announced that all the victims had been rescued after spending 56 days in captivity.
The Presidency said the victims were freed during a joint operation involving the military, the Department of State Services and the police, with eight suspected kidnappers arrested and others neutralised.

delpee: The North needs to rise against banditry holistically. When people say bandits are their brothers who should be forgiven without giving due consideration to their victims, while Southerners see them as criminals, it's difficult to reconcile the issue and take a stand.
What stops Northerners from protesting and fighting this evil without any bias?
When did Lai Mohammed and his fellow Yorubas in the ACN branch of APC follow their Jagaban of Borgu master strategist to identify as northerners? Northerners who you know ALL say that bandits are their brothers who should be forgiven without giving due consideration to their victims?
BrickandLace: Should I be embarrassed for APC Oyo or the people accepting 2 packs of noodles....I don't even know at this point.
For me, the embarrassment is not that of APC Oyo or the extreme poverty paupers who accept the noodles.
The embarrassment is for Remi Tinubu.
Can you imagine how many akara sellers would have made plenty of money if they shared two akara bags with the hungry people instead of noodles made with imported raw materials? Only God knows how many more jobs would have been created in the agricultural value chain for akara.
Don’t you see the missed opportunity to help Remi’s husband create his 50 million jobs promised and increase tax revenue to make the Tinubu family flex on more luxury at the expense of Stockholm syndrome sufferers?
BeeBeeOoh: The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Nigerian youths to be hard-working, saying, “There is no food for lazy man.”
Mrs Tinubu said this during a courtesy visit to the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Thursday.
She noted that while the Tinubu-led administration is working hard to provide sustainable solutions to the current challenges facing the country, Nigerians should also work hard to provide for themselves.
The first lady maintained that the government will do all it takes to ensure that Nigerians are not disappointed and called for patience with Tinubu’s administration.
Mrs Tinubu said: “There is no food for the lazy man; even God worked for six days and rested on the seventh day.
“Nigeria is a land that’s flowing with milk and honey, but we need to sustain it for generations to come.
“God has richly blessed my family before getting to the presidency and we are content with what we have.
“What is happening in the country, we are just two years into our administration, we are not the cause of the current situation. We are trying to fix and secure the future.
“I have embarked on several journeys but it seems that people are not seeing what God is doing in the land. Nations across the globe want to do business with us, legally, on the table. There is a government in power now that they know it is accountable.
“We are trying all our efforts to ensure that the economy is stabilised and the masses are living meaningful lives since the removal of fuel subsidy.”
chisomkachy: Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s first supplementary budget includes a fleet of SUVs for himself and his wife, a presidential yacht and the renovation of his villa amid a cost-of-living crisis for some of the poorest people in the world.
The proposal — which seeks additional funding beyond the annual budget approved by Tinubu’s predecessor — comes as the government asks Nigerians to persevere through pain caused in part by a raft of economic reforms ushered in by the new president. Africa’s most populous country faces rampant unemployment, soaring food prices and a plummeting currency.
Federal lawmakers approved the president’s request for extra spending on Thursday, but eliminated the provision of 5 billion naira ($6.01 million) to buy a presidential yacht. Instead, they doubled the allocation to a student loan fund to 10 billion naira, according Abubakar Bichi, chairman of an appropriations committee in the House of Representatives.
The lawmakers approved 1.5 billion-naira proposed to purchase SUVs for the office of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu — an amount larger than that allocated to many individual federal colleges. The supplementary budget also proposes almost 6 billion naira to purchase SUVs for the presidency — more than the amount initially allocated to fund a student loan program for poor families.
Originalsly: This killings and kidnappings in the North is not about religion ... or tribe. We need to ask ourselves .. what do these people really want? The answer is the mineral resources of the land ... these killings is to drive fear into the residents and cause them to move. Check this thread with VDM posted on Jan 5 2024 .... you will figure things out. The North is very rich in critical minerals ... the powers that be need them .
Is this why the master strategist has failed to resolve the crisis?
What percentage of the critical minerals do you think the Lagos landlord has captured for himself, just like he has captured the trillions annual budget and IGR from Lagosians since 1999?
LLMG: The northern elites are only concerned about blasphemy, things like this don't matter to them.
Do you have any record of Tinubu’s reaction to the death of Deborah? What did the Muslim-Muslim ticket candidate say about the murder on blasphemy allegations?
Do you know if Jagaban of Borgu is a northern leader since he betrayed Yorubas in 2011 to make Tambuwal Speaker HoR, just like he betrayed Abiola for Abacha to be his double agent inside NADECO?
For all we know, the man who went to Chicago university without primary and secondary schools, could be of Nupe/ Tapa origin before he was adopted by Iyaloja Oshodi, Alhaja Mogaji.
anonimi: My dad, victim of complex conspiracy – Kola Abiola
What role did Bola Tinubu play in all of these?
At the very beginning, he was part of the Yar’Adua PF group from Jos. He was a senator then, and as far as the group went, we related. The crisis started post-election. When Abacha came, one of the things he wanted to do was to be the administrator for Lagos.
That is Tinubu?
Yes. I am sure you have seen pictures of him and my dad. He was hoping that there would be civilian administrators like we had under IBB but Abacha said no, that he was going to have military administrators. So he (Tinubu) said okay, in that case, can I be a deputy administrator? But Abacha said that there wouldn’t be deputies. Then he wanted the post of a commissioner.
He wanted to be a commissioner?
Yes. Then it was a choice between him and someone very close to Jakande who has passed on now. I can’t remember his name, but because Babagana was already in the government, that guy was picked as commissioner. But really, Senator Tinubu had lost out already.
Was Tinubu very close to MKO?
Yes, he was close enough. He and Adeniyi Adele, a very good guy, were close to my father. In fact, Adeniyi was closer to my father and more dedicated to the process than anyone of them. When my documentary comes out, you will see Tinubu’s take on issues. So once he lost out, automatically, he became a NADECO member and Adeniyi was incarcerated.
A very unfortunate situation created by APC power grabbers who fought Jonathan with imported terrorists before running to Kaduna to beg Buhari out of retirement, to end Jonathan as a one term president.
Is there any other reason why the master strategist of Nigerian politics did this apart from wicked selfishness? What other reasons could have motivated him to do this
Lekby25: These opposition should stop their rubbish. The people that changed the history of the world, what certificates do they have. The Wright Brothers that gave the world plane, they never went to school, Thomas Edison had no formal education the person that gave the world telephone we are using today had no certificate.
Which one of the people you mentioned went to Chicago university without primary and secondary education
MEGAWATCH: Please explain what you mean be NAVIGATING HIS WAY TO THE TOP.....
It means even if he was killing people to the top he should be celebrated abi?
Oh TRIBALISM has finished us.
The same people who were mad with Jonathan are trying so hard to paint a devil white.
What a country.
🥸
You have hit a nerve here with this statement that reflects the murder of the 1999 presumed AD candidate, Engineer Funsho Williams in the run up to the 2007 election, which was won by then politically unknown Fashola to continue JagaBandioti a-looter progreThief master plan.
No one has been made to account for the murder, which happened five years after Obasanjo’s AGF Bola Ige was assassinated in 2001. This was two years before Obasanjo captured southwest states except Lagos. Rather than deal with the murderers, sanctimonious hypocrite Obasanjo made the most prominent suspect a senator from Agodi prison.
Lagos was apparently spared in 2003 because Atiku stood up for Tinubu, just as he stood up for Obasanjo to win reelection despite northerners asking Baba Iyabọ to respect his own promise to do one term like Mandela.
Was 2003 not the year that Buhari first asked us for the job of president and we refused him, even though he locked down northern votes from then until 2015 when master strategist Tinubu made him APC change messiah to end Jonathan as a one term president?
Strange is an understatement for the Jagaban of Borgu.
He may even be a Nupe/ Tapa northerner who was adopted by Iyaloja Mogaji hence why he has always betrayed Yoruba people to favour his fellow northerners.
The problem I have with this opposition is that they keep talking about what school certificate or class mate he has or not instead of focusing on important stuff like the plans he has to lift people from poverty
If the opposition strategy is to talk about school certificate and where he was born like they did the last time, then I don't think they plan to win an election
if you are 18 years, you will be more interested in school certificate banters online and other nonsense
if you are 20-29, you are interested in policies for job creations
if you are 30-40 years, you are more interested in policies to improve your standard of living
if you are 45 and above, you will be interested in policies to protect your investment
Since you are not boring, could you please tell us what Tinubu has achieved in job creation, improving standards of living and protecting investments
What percentage of your daily 24 hours is devoted to talking about these non boring things to everyone around you and beyond?
