we are not talking about who stole more money from us than the other! those politicians we are talking about are thieves who stole from the Nigerian till. go to Facebook and you will see where Atiku confessed to his mismanagement of Nigerian funds. think of item if you worked hard for money will you pay 1.2 million dollars to a company to help you bring down your political opponent?🧐 can you explain the desperation and whether the office he seeks will refund the 1.2 million dollars should he win. haha! that alone should show you that Atiku is thief spending easy come easy go money!
How is he a worse thief than Tinubu who has increased Lagos budget 100 times in 27 years to N4.2 trillion but fails to employ workers to make water available?

How is he a worse thief than Tinubu who is borrowing more than previous presidents who didn’t remove subsidy?

Mr. Edun said that the benefit of the subsidy removal will be plough back into various sectors to improve business environment for local and foreign investment.

Report: Current Govt Added More Debt in Two Years Than Nigeria Accumulated in 55 Years

• Decries Nigeria’s debt service-to-revenue ratio

•Urges FG to declare fiscal emergency

A new policy brief has warned that Nigeria’s worsening debt profile and weak revenue generation have pushed the country into a dangerous fiscal position, with the current administration accumulating more debt in two years than Nigeria recorded during its first 55 years after independence.

The report, released by the Alliance for Economic Research and Ethics LTD/GTE, a Nigerian policy think tank, argued that the country’s debt crisis has evolved into a governance and revenue emergency, as debt servicing obligations now exceed the federal government’s retained earnings.
>
>
According to the think tank, Nigeria’s public debt rose sharply from N87.38 trillion in June 2023 to N159.28 trillion by the end of 2025, with President Bola Tinubu’s administration accounting for about N65.9 trillion of the increase within its first two years in office.

The organisation in the brief titled: “Nigeria Is Borrowing to Breathe—and the Clock Is Ticking”, noted that Nigeria accumulated only about N12.06 trillion in debt from independence in 1960 up to 2015, meaning the current administration added more than five times that amount in just 24 months.

The report stated that while previous governments also contributed significantly to the country’s rising debt burden, the speed of accumulation under the current administration had intensified concerns over fiscal sustainability.

“President Bola Tinubu’s administration has added a further N65.9 trillion in just two years. To put that in perspective: it took Nigeria’s first 55 years of independence to accumulate N12 trillion in debt. The current administration has added more than five times that amount in 24 months,” it argued.

It recalled that Nigeria briefly became almost debt-free externally after the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo secured an $18 billion Paris Club debt relief package in 2005 and paid $12 billion to extinguish about $30 billion in external obligations.

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

If truly Atiku wrote that, he is finished. An unwise man. He is still a low man when it comes to politics.

As loud as Wike is, he knows when to be silent to get what he wants. He did his mumu time with the Jonathans' and Amaechis. But when he got hold of the cutlass to cut them off, he was not merciful. Lol. grin

What about Tinubu? He almost prostrated for Orji Kalu's mama who is not that older than him. He even went to meet OBJ who was not his favorite and was silent all through. Then, he did mumu before Yaradua's mama. And the one that beats all of us was El-Rufai. He made him believe that he is too valuable. Even made him shine when he was answering all questions in the UK. Lol. You wan tell me say Cardaso wasn't there before he picked El-Rufai. Lol.

The same OBJ did. He did mumu to all of them. Lol. Baba was just out of the prison and he saw the opportunity. Atiku thought baba didnt know that Atiku and others spent for their selfish interest. Lol. Atiku of all people. Lol.

But Atiku has not got what he wanted. Baba has been his main stumbling block. And the likes of Wike built on what Baba did to Atiku. Yet, that man has not learned his lesson.

I expected him to run to Abeokuta and did his mumu too. He needs to get something from Baba. How to challenge Tinubu. If Baba has Atiku's back, trust me...Tinubu will run to Wole Soyinka to do something. The whole of the Yoruba land will gather round Ooni of Ife, Alaafin of Oyo, and other first class Yoruba kings to do something. Chai. See how Atiku has killed himself.

Baba only tweaked him to talk. And he fell for the bait. Baba knew him so well that only minor things kill Atiku. Baba kept him so close that he allowed him to be his vice so he can supervise him.

Baba himself wanted the third term...nondoubt about it, because he felt he had to do more. Lol. What he could not do for 8 years. Ha ba! Baba should now that he could only build a foundation for Nigeria na. But Baba didnt fail after all na. Baba was responsible for out super brilliant banking sector which is far better than that of the uS, UK, etc. Only the likes of Luxembourg beats us in that area. Baba changed our telecoms too na. But I think what pained Baba was not able tonsolve power. And till date, no one can solve it. I now Baba could have solved it if not for the Atiku's greediness, and it was so late for Baba to know.

I think this was the reason Baba wanted the 3rd term. He knew himself that if he didnt do it, no one will be able for a long time. OBJ could have. And imagine if he had solved this power issue by 2007 that he left. Think of it where we would be today. OK. Imagine where also we would be if we have no good telecom or if we were still using analog banking system. Lol.

Atiku isnt smart at all. I trust Wike. He woukd zip his mouth. Its after he leaves Ota he would call his trumpet boy to sing. Lol.

What a wasted opportunity. Atikunwas supposed to use this to catch Baba. Be his mumu. Run to his farm and call your guys to beg him again and again. Be his mumu...na you knkw waht you wan get from him. Let him carry the South west battle for you. And then move to the Yaraduas to tackle Tinubu's influence in the north. Make Baba call Obi and Kwakwaso to pipe low. Yes...Baba can do it. Las las....Kwakwanso would pull out. Dem no born Obi well. Obi would stay. Thats how you make Tinubu uncomfortable to run to Wole Soyinka to do something.

Atiku...congrats on another lost battle. Lol. Una go contest 2031? This what we should be discussing with you henceforth. Chai. grin

Stop deceiving yourself. Atiku can't be president. The best chance he had was in 2023 if he and Obi had worked together. He also got it all wrong when he felt he could become president without the help of Wike and his goons who worked against him. That's political miscalculation and that chance is long gone. He isn't a smart politician after all. With his years of experience in the political game, it's unfortunate he gets his political calculations wrong. Unfortunately, he'll be exiting the political scene in 2027. This time for good.
Atiku’s best chance was in 2003!

He was not selfish and brutal enough to succumb to northern pressure for Obasanjo to be like Mandela as he promised them before they made him president in 1999, straight out of Abacha’s prison.

Was 2003 not the first time that Buhari asked for the job of president and failed but locked down the northern votes huh

The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale, on Wednesday stated that the “President-elect” Bola Tinubu asked popular economist, Prof Pat Utomi to step down for Peter Obi in the buildup to the 2023 general elections.

Akinwale made this revelation while he appeared as a guest on a radio programme on 101.7 YES FM, Ibadan, Oyo State, while alleging that Obi received campaign funds from Utomi, whom he described as Tinubu's "son."

The LP aspirant, who spoke in Yoruba language, said "In the buildup to the 2023 elections, Obi who had purchased the nomination form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), suddenly announced his exit from the party.

"Initially, Pat Utomi had secured the LP's presidential ticket, but when Peter Obi said he resigned from the PDP and joined the LP. Bola Tinubu, a master political strategist, quickly told Utomi, that everyone knows to be his son to step down for Obi.

"The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

"What Peter Obi didn't know is much more that what he knows, he started collecting campaign funds from Utomi, while Tinubu was giving the money to Utomi.

"This went on until Obi's presidential campaign got to a stage it went beyond target. Obi was used without him knowing," Akinwale said after announcing his departure from the party.

Obi defected to the LP after resigning his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also withdrawing from the presidential race under the party.

The former governor consequently joined the race for the party’s presidential ticket, while Professor Pat Utomi, in June 2022 stepped down for him to emerge as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, unopposed in Asaba, Delta State.

Does this mean you brainless Obidients can no longer construct a political argument without reaching for insults and conspiracy theories?

Every response now seems to follow the same script: "thief," "loot," "terrorist," "failed," and then... nothing.

No evidence.

No figures.

No policy analysis.

No alternative plan.

Just emotional outbursts masquerading as political debate.

As for the First Lady's empowerment programmes, you may disagree with them or argue they are insufficient. That is a legitimate political opinion. But pretending that skills acquisition or small-business support automatically means government has abandoned job creation is a false choice. Governments can pursue infrastructure, investment, education, reforms and targeted empowerment programmes at the same time.

And the reckless allegation that the President is "only interested in stealing money and looting the commonwealth" is presented without a shred of evidence. In a serious debate, accusations require proof—not outrage.

This is becoming the trademark of Obidient Ranting Syndrome.

The louder the insults become, the emptier the argument usually is.

Nigerians deserve debates built on facts, policies and performance—not endless emotional venting dressed up as political analysis.

‘How Atiku saved Obasanjo from near bankruptcy before he emerged president’‘

A new book has revealed how former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, saved ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo from near bankruptcy before he emerged president in 1999.

According to the new book, entitled ‘’Too Good to Die: Third Term and the Myth of the Indispensable Man in Africa,’ Atiku made all his resources available for Obasanjo’s presidential campaign.

The book, written by former chairman of National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, Chidi Odinkalu, and Ayisha Osori, author of ‘’Love Does Not Win Elections,” also revealed how Obasanjo beat late Alex Ekwueme to the presidential ticket of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 1999 election.

Quoting an account from Atiku, the authors said the trio of Ibrahim Babangida, Theophilus Danjuma and Abdulsalami Abubakar wanted PDP to adopt Obasanjo as their presidential candidate “because they considered him the best person for the job.”

“Implicit in their position was their belief that they knew how to manipulate Obasanjo and the fact that Obasanjo did their bidding in 1979. They felt secure that he could be managed again,” the authors wrote.

Atiku was reportedly asked to join a team to Ogun to inform Obasanjo that he was going to run for the highest office in the land.

“When Atiku and Obasanjo discussed the call to serve as president, Obasanjo said he could not be president because he was a nearly bankrupt ex-convict. Atiku, through General (Aliyu) Gusau, paid money into Obasanjo’s account to begin his financial rehabilitation.

“Head of State Abdulsalami Abubakar helped out by granting him an unconditional pardon. Atiku put everything he had at his disposal to support Obasanjo’s emergence as the PDP presidential candidate and, when he joined the ticket as the vice-presidential nominee, continued to make his assets available to Obasanjo and the campaign.

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has disclosed that the federal government has so far saved the sum of N1.4 trillion for not paying oil subsidy.

He also assured Nigerians that very soon, the foreign exchange market would stabilise going by some radical policies already introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The vice president who spoke in Kano yesterday during the third day of the 15th Joint Planning Board and National Council on Development meeting, urged Nigerians to restore confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, insisting that soonest, the current economic problems would become a thing of the past.

“With the deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector, there has been a significant increase in the availability of petrol throughout the country for the savings of N1.4 trillion on subsidy payments alone,” he said.

“Also, a more flexible exchange rate regime, we will have to decrease the pressure on the external reserve. In the short run of course, there should be consequences for inflation. We expect that with greater priority we have seen in the implementation of the policy by the CBN, the foreign exchange market will stabilise and confidence will be restored.

Abeg which subsidy be that one again?
It may be the subsidy on akara, which we are supposed to fry because Remi Tinubu’s husband has no idea how to create the jobs he promised to Nigerians, who have been made extreme poverty paupers by his Buhari huh

APC is truly All Promises Cancelled.

Dear sycophants

On August 29 2023, Tinubu’s government promised to create 50 million jobs and revive the economy.

This is almost one year. How far with your messiah’s plan?

Where is the economic revival? Where are the jobs?

Which hardship? Lol. All will be well.

So, you dont know that subsidies themselves are the tonic for hardship in Nigeria? Who has they benefitted? Tell me.

Since dem remove oil and we have oil, are you saying that its not better than the days we struggle and fight at the gas stations? Yeah...it not perfect, and they are still cheating us, but are we not able to still navigate it better now?

So, you think that the days of the military that they will even best you at the gas stations are better than now thst you pay more and get what you want easily?

Keep looking for subsidies na. Go on. Continue. Rubbish!
Did Tinubu promise to remove subsidy and hike petrol price? Or did he promise to crash the price below N185?

Why are we still having occasional fuel shortages? Why are we still borrowing money after Tinubu and APC removed subsidy two times? Do you know why huh

Is it not obvious that we are dealing with the worst rogue politicians in APC?

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun made this known at the end of the inaugural Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja.
Mr. Edun said that the benefit of the subsidy removal will be plough back into various sectors to improve business environment for local and foreign investment.
He added that with the increased revenue from subsidy removal, various palliatives have been made available to cushion its effect on a short, medium and long-term basis.

Ofunaofu:

>
>

SHOCKER: Atiku ‘saved Obasanjo from near bankruptcy’ before 1999

In the book, a copy of which was obtained by TheCable, the authors told of how Obasanjo beat late Alex Ekwueme to the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 1999 election.
>
>
Atiku was reportedly asked to join a team to Ogun to inform Obasanjo that he was going to run for the highest office in the land.

According to the book, “when Atiku and Obasanjo discussed the call to serve as president, Obasanjo said he could not be president because he was a nearly bankrupt ex-convict. Atiku, through General [Aliyu] Gusau, paid money into Obasanjo’s account to begin his financial rehabilitation.

Obidients will be very sad with this development
Are you saying that because of how APC was sad about Nigeria’s prosperity, peace and security in PDP’s 16 years of deregulation and privatisation policies for cheap petrol, cheap dollars, low unemployment, low debt burden etc? The demonic politicians were so sad that they imported terrorists to end the glorious era and made Jonathan a one term president.
