dominique: Are there no people doing the business around you you can study the business from?
If he is anywhere in Lagos state, there should be thousands of people in such business. Why Because the target of one million users must have been reached since 2013 when Fashola & co spent billions doing Eko Gas project as reported in the propaganda story below.
EkoIle1: Jun 12, 2013 The Lagos State Government said it would launch its new clean energy programme, tagged ‘Eko Gas’, aimed at encouraging utilisation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in the state.
The Commissioner of Energy and Mineral Resources, Taofeeq Ajibade Tijani, who disclosed this said the programme is expected to convert about one million people to using LPG, otherwise known as cooking gas in the next five years. Ajibade said the scheme would be officially launched by Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, who has made commitment to create incentives for prospective consumers of gas.
According to him, “The state is more focused on promoting greater use of cooking gas in Nigeria by focusing on convenience, cost and safety through excellent gas supply services and development of innovative gas products.”
He said that the essence of the project was to ensure that cooking gas was brought to the door step of all residents of Lagos, especially the low income group, at affordable prices. The project tagged ‘Eko Gas’ would be targeted at the low income group that relies on kerosene because of the erroneous impression that LPG is more expensive. “The Lagos State Government plans to increase the use of cooking gas among a significant proportion of the populace within the next five years,” he said. On safety concerns that are raised frequently by potential users of cooking gas, Tijani stated that the product was designed and fabricated with distinguishing qualities such as safety, affordability, portability and environmental friendliness. According to him, about 20 per cent of the cost of cylinder would be eased by the government, in other to encourage Lagosians to the use LPG.
peacettw: I find the story hard to believe because you keep throwing around the word Endocrinologist when it should be Obgyn. What will an endocrinologist do with your sperm?
As for your predicament, I am pretty sure that you are relieved that a child is coming into your life supposedly under your name. It is either this or adoption after years of childlessness. Asides from the infidelity which you can't prove with certainty, I say you go with the status quo
Before you do swagger with your uninformed words, why not google to confirm and clear your doubts to avoid embarrassment here?
MistadeRegal: Yes it's possible. Then he should do something first before drawing conclusions. It could be the child is his, perhaps he responded to treatment faster than the doctor's expectation...
And that bro, is the miracle part that can't be ruled out in the affairs of men.
Trust22: Look at this man oo... U can't father a child n u ain't even sure if the treatment will work at the end yet God is about to bless u with a child and u r here talking about cheating...
Haven't u seen those that spends too much money on adoption just because they can't father a child...
Just kneel down and Thank God... Claim the child even if the father comes tomorrow for the Child...
Nice comment but what happens when the bold occurs?
MistadeRegal: Be patient till the child is born, then go for a DNA test. If it turns out you're the dad, just let things be. If you're not, tell her. Because a home that's still peaceful, the bastard child there is yet to mature.
It is possible to do prenatal DNA test. If not his by some miracle, it is best to end the relationship without disclosing her infidelity, saying that he will take care of "their" baby but won't marry the girl. With time they can sort out the paternity issue out between them after the stress of called off wedding has died down.
Romangalactic: I'll try to keep my predicament short. I registered a new account for this purpose but I'm sure many of you will understand that sterility is not something to be announced which is exactly how I got myself in this situation. I am 35 and engaged to a beautiful woman who completes me in every way. As much as it hurts me to say this, I have not been totally honest with her about everything. Just yesterday while we were home together, she told me that she is pregnant . I asked her how sure she is, she said she had done the pee test and that she knows how she is feeling. The issue here is that I am sterile but I have not told her this before so it is impossible that I am responsible.
Please before anyone tells me I deserve this for not opening up to her, I have been undergoing treatment secretly and they say I will be able to father children when it's done so of course, I am hopeful and have not bothered to inform her about any of this. I can't stand losing her for any reason. My issue right now is that I asked my endocrinologist this morning if it's possible that the treatment is already working and he said we have not gone far enough to see any results yet. This means I am definitely not the father of the child she is carrying.
Only one other person in this world knows about my health challenge and that is my cousin. I told him and he told me to break up with my fiancée, someone I have already done introduction with and families are involved. I told him I cannot and that he must take the secret to the grave, he thinks I am making the biggest mistake of my life. Well I told him my plan is to accept the pregnancy and continue to make her think I don't know she cheated on me. I am doing this with the hope that after we get married, my treatment will be completed and everything will be back to normal. But at the same time, I still can't shake the feeling that I am about to marry someone who cheated and is passing off another man's child as mine, I feel cheated and it hurts.
Can anyone else please tell me what to do about this situation I have found myself? Please I just need to hear from other people besides my cousin. Another thing, he has never really liked my fiancée so I feel that also may be his motivation. I need neutral opinions please
It could be a miracle. Or it may not be a miracle. The only way to find out for certain is to do a prenatal DNA paternity test. The challenge is how do you do that discreetly or how do you ask her you want that done. Tight but doable to have peace of mind, including calling off the wedding arrangements without disclosing that her (confirmed) infidelity is the reason. You should consider telling us how you got the infection so others can learn to avoid such. Cheers and all the best.
bizhop01: Young girls, how many underage girls you see in public Universities? The painter and the girls in question are not kids the are full growth adults, the knew what good for them selves.
Na so o. Consenting adults. No more questions. Will these make those campus boys take up jobs like painter, carpenter, mason etc to earn legit money and flex? Can it
helinues: You see the people producing Nigeria future leaders?
Another media trial that does not resolve the fundamental failure of buhari and his Alliance of Past/Present Crooks, APC since 2015. When will the entertainment and media diversion end for real work on our economy, security, infrastructure to start and be felt by the people? Do you know
President Buhari not to blame for increase in debt – DMO DG
“Yes, our total debt stock has grown between 2015 and 2018 but we want to explain that total public debt comprises the borrowings of the Federal Government and the states and the FCT. The narrative is that it was Buhari’s administration, but it is really the three tiers of government.
“We want Nigerians to keep it in mind that we are talking about the collective borrowings of the Federal Government, the states and the FCT. But the borrowing did not just happen; you know what happened to oil revenue; no need to go into that.”
From $10bn, Nigeria Debt Profile Now $84bn Under Buhari - Falalu Bello
National chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Falalu Bello has raised the alarm that the country's debt profile has skyrocketed from $10bn when President Buhari took over in 2015 to $84bn.
Bello who was at different times the managing director of Unity, Habib and Intercity banks, while speaking during a media dialogue in Abuja, urged the National Assembly not to approve the $29.9bn loan request of President Buhari before it.
Describing as unacceptable the rising debt profile of the country under Buhari, he said if the new request is approved, the country's debt profile would be over $100bn.
modsfucker: Everyone is beating the drum of religious/ethnic bigotry... This thing is doing us more harm tham good... We're unconsciously/consciously planting the seed of hatred in the minds of younger generations.
What is happening now is the kind of propaganda that preceded Hotel Rwanda, and it's only a matter of time before this propaganda degenerates into a full blown Ethno-religous conflict.
Propaganda like the ones below Or what other type of propaganda do you have in mind?
joyandfaith: commercial okada and keke should be banned nationwide. okada and keke are not solutions to transport problems.
most youths refuse to learn works because they make money easily thtough okada or keke business. i have seen carpenters, electricians , bricklayers who abandon their trade for okada business.
ikorodureporta: He gave me more insight into the activites of these Okada riders..
1. He told me that most of the riders in Lekki are Shite members and other Muslim radicals. 2. He told me that their are other 2 - 3 groups also in Lagos / Lekki axis who could only be identified with the way they pray completely different form the normal prayers. He said, these ones are more dangerous than the Shite group but if you dont know , you will never know because they hide their identities a lot. 3 . He told me that they are coming to Lagos enmass and gathering momentum to enable them do the kind of things they practice in Kaduna, Kano etc... I was told that their new concentration bases are, Lagos and Kwara for now.
My People, we must be vigilant oooo. I was amazed with the information I got from my old time Malam friend. He told me that their Sponsors provides all the Okadas for them so that their base in Lagos will be strong enough to unleash their normal mayhem..... chineke God Why?
I can now understand why Landlords in Lekki are shouting about the level of Insecurity. Una never know anything.
neoclassical: Evil Party! You can tear yourselves apart. The earlier you do that, the better for all Nigerians. The gods are angry with you guys for the electoral fraud you perpetrated in Osun State against the People's choice.
Symphony007: Buhari reveals how APC won Osun governorship with ‘remote control’
President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, while appealing to traditional rulers in Osun State to support his reelection to enable his administration consolidate on its achievements, revealed that APC was able to win the state’s governorship election held months back with the aid of remove control.
Buhari, who failed to provide details of what he meant by remote control, said: “I know how much trouble we had in the last election here. I know by remote control through so many sources how we managed to maintain the party (APC) in power in this state.”

CeterisXVII: Fixing of roads in this country, takes ages. Everyone knowswants that.
Fixed.
The weak, old, elderly and pregnant women take Kèke Napep which was also banned alongside Okada, by his clueless excellency that presides over Lagos state.
Why did the "smart" Lagosians allow a clueless fellow preside over them? Are you making any sense even to yourself?
Who got a contract from the university, unlike many of the undergraduates and even graduates who will end up unemployed to be called lazy youths by the leader looter responsible for their woes. The incompetent dullard never ceases to amaze with the regular insults he dishes anyhow.
Papanwamaikpe: What's your problem sef? You argue too much. If you have any proof to counter the fact that tranquilizer can't penetrate through a crocodile skin as a result of its thickness, then provide it and stop arguing blindly!
Fact that you have said or fact that you have provided evidence to prove? Which one. As for your order, take it and be a good example except you are a bloody hypocrite.
asha80: if you shoot a tranquilizer it does not act immediately you know and the crocodile is very likely to dash into the water (this is assuming you shoot it when it is outside the water) when the dart hits it...so how do you go into the water to remove the tyre and also make sure the croc doesn't die inside the water(since it is going to be unconscious for a period of time)?
Nice questions that veterinary scientists and researchers would have found a solution to.
CeterisXVII: Cars cannot ply some bad roads in Lagos. Such cars will develop a problem before they get to the final destination.
Not everybody can walk long distances. The weak and elderly people for example. The pregnant women and those with arthritis are also people at risk, who cannot trek long distances. What happens if they cannot afford an Uber?
Talk to your LGA councillor and state assembly honourable to fix the bad feeder roads. Share Uber. Not everywhere in the world is motorable nor serviced by motorbike/keke and people live in those places too. Weak and elderly people as well as pregnant women and those with arthritis on motor bikes instead of walking or being carried on stretchers? Are you kidding?
Ibroaye: They should drug its food now and do whatever they wanna do. Or is there something they are trying to achieve? They can't tell us that their country is full of foolish people now.
SilasNwude: publicity stunt even an undergraduate VET will remove that
i have seen more dangerous missions on NAT geo wild
Na so o. And they are sure getting a lot of publicity in our country via nairaland. It is an opportunity to educate and disprove some held notions by our fellow nairalanders and citizens.
