Hi, You asked me not to ignore so I feel obliged to respond. If what you want to do is affiliate marketing/crypto, good luck however asking me to buy you a phone is a No.. The reason is you can either use whatever you used to post this to do that or find other ingenious means to get a phone to do it and if it’s as lucrative as you say then am sure you will make enough to at least put a down payment on a phone Wish you all the best

1 Like 1 Share |

@ojnafisat: please don’t insult anyone in my name. Also I did not assist you based on the way you defended yourself or the language you kept using. you should address people the way you want to be addressed.. the truth as your defense should be enough response. @others: am sorry I can’t respond to everyone individually and I certainly can’t support everyone. My resources are extremely limited so in the main time I’ll focus on just the original plan which is the skills acquisition route or support Regards OjNafisat: |

Hi, Your request is not a bug however the onus is on you to prove your need and support it with evidence. Your aware this is a faceless forum and default mode is to assume everyone is a scammer. I don’t have an NGO and my resources are from my 9-5 (maybe in future it may evolve) so my help is borne out of my desire and the fact it brings me unspeakable joy to lend a hand as God has always done and continues to do for me and my family however I will be remiss and setting myself up for failure even before I start if I accept every request on face value. The ball is in your court Regards Zee0007: |

Hi, Am a little tired and dealing with some personal issues that has kept me extremely busy. I have no desire for this matter to drag out this long and I don’t have the time/stomach for further investigation. You may be real or you may be a scammer however it will be unfair for me to judge you on the strength of crimes you may or may not have committed and I can’t verify. Wish you the best this second time and hopefully you become the one rendering support in the near future. @skj1377: thanks for your concern and looking out to ensure only genuine people get help however we also need to be careful to make sure in our bid to scrutinize we do not deny genuine people help. Well done bro Ojnafisat: if/when you chose to post you received the money, ensure you block my name @other people asking for help with online training… let me call you out a little, I understand you may be waiting for people to be chosen but You may have gone a step further by actually getting a price or someone that actually offers this service either on nairaland or elsewhere or someone takes the initiative to coordinate and invite them to the group! It seems you guys want us to select the service provider and just waiting to be selected. Put in a little work and let the sponsors meet you half way. It’s also up to you to convince the sponsors you are genuine. Good luck all and may he meet everyone of us at the point of our needs! OjNafisat: 1 Like 1 Share |

Hi, While this is not the skills acquisition route I was thinking however since you already have the skills, no harm in supporting. I must say I am not particularly excited you could not divert some of the funds from the cooking biz to change to the fashion designer business when you noticed the problem and decided to change. Am saying this because what happens if other fashion designers setup in your area. In any case, What’s the cost of the sewing machine? I don’t believe you put the price there Also do we have anyone here that sells the machine … could be killing 2 birds with one stone ! Regards OjNafisat: |

You are correct. Its fake news and this is why so many people/govts are scared of the power of social media since its getting so difficult to distinguish between real/fake news anymore and most people wont even take the time to research most things they read further to form their own opinions. Tell the doctor you have a recurring boil that swells and discharges, looks like its healing and returns back in a few weeks you do have to see a specialist and not any general surgeon as there is the risk of not getting the whole infected tissue and the problem continues if your in Lagos there are certain specialists familiar with it at Luth and if funds are not a problem you can go private Salasa: |
Romance / Re: Help by Anonymous1900: 9:15pm On Jan 24, 2021 |
I think what you have may be called Fistula-in-ano you could google it for more info however its typically a normal boil close to the anal cavity and because of its proximity to that area, it gets re-infected during the healing process. so what happens is the boil grows and while growing to discharge, the area stiffens and its a little hard for you to walk properly till the boil opens and discharges the pus and you feel relieved. (this may or may not be the case for you). After all the pus is discharged and a little blood also the would begins to heal and the face may close and everything looks perfect but because of the proximity to the anal cavity the area gets infected from the inside and the boil starts again. if what i have described above is the case or close then you definitely need to see a Medical doctor. Good news is it can be cured/treated. the wound needs to be open and laid open to heal properly from inside out which gives a permanent cure. Disclaimer: all i have written above is my opinion and not to be constituted as professional medical advice of any kind (you may reach out of you have more questions) Good luck and speedy healing Salasa: 10 Likes 1 Share |

The Irony of this argument by so many people quoting and insulting you here is those that this policy will affect actually understand it and are not disturbed by it cos they were not erring in the first place. How else can you tell Nigerians that this policy is not for the general population and wont affect 99% of Nigerians. I can understand the anger of several people with Nigeria and the need to vent on everything govt as a whole but if they understood what was being said instead of all this spin off theories like atm fail, network fail and how none of that applies they will all just move on and vent over something else Globad: 1 Like |
Business / Re: Banks Charge Customers For Failed Transactions by Anonymous1900: 4:27pm On Nov 20, 2020 |
The charges are for failed "direct debit" transactions not regular debit as you have described. In the scenario you described the transaction will simply fail due to insufficient funds with no charges. You will only get charged as described by CBN if you setup a direct debit for someone to take 7.1m from your account at a future date. Its quite different... the main issue here is people are mixing direct debit and regular debits/transactions up.. its very different Openbusiness: 1 Like |
Business / Re: Banks Charge Customers For Failed Transactions by Anonymous1900: 4:19pm On Nov 20, 2020 |
Well Said... For those alarmed or worried by the news because they saw "direct debit". Direct debit is very different from regular debit transactions or online pos transactions. its an instruction you give to your bank via online or in person to debit your account on a particular date every month or till you cancel eg pay dstv 15k every 3rd of the month. dstv tried to take that money every 3rd and if it fails due to insufficient funds, then cbn says you will be charged Less than 1% banking nigerians use direct debit instructions so this news does not really affect a lot of people fussing over it INTEGRITYA1: 1 Like |

The main question should be whose name is on your I20 as sponsor? is it the same as the one in your DS160? if the answer to both questions is Yes then the person may simply print a statement of account for you for maybe from last month or most recent statement that has sufficient balance to fund your studies.(provided its not too old) if you choose to change the name to your sister or use the funds in your account your sister wants to send, then you may need to reach out to your school to get your I20 updated to reflect those changes and change that in your Ds 160 accordingly. Finally nothing guarantees a visa but you want to remove obvious stumbling blocks like explaining the discrepancy in funding and I20 information and bloated statement of account for interview from funds your sister sent to your account (if its even asked for) Remember your interview will be less than 5mins and its your job to convince the VO your a genuine student with ability to fund your education legitimately then leave the rest to God/Allah. History/statistics has shown most VO's operate under the guise of "if in doubt, reject first" which leaves you having to reapply to correct that doubt Rabato: 6 Likes |

Sometimes you need to recognize the fastest way to your destination may not be a straight line Here is what i mean: if what you really want is to an undergraduate program in a different field then some of your major hurdles are getting admission to that program and getting a student visa to read that program among others i wont delve into other challenges like funding etc so instead of applying for an undergraduate program at 32, which may be a difficult sell for a VO who you cant convince in under 5mins your a genuine student and your reason for wanting the program, you may apply for a masters program which removes at least 1 negative factor from your visa consideration (of cos this assumes you already have 1 undergraduate degree) you can then go further by applying for that masters in a school you have researched that has your intended undergraduate program. this enables you to change programs once you get to the us for that program within the same school. technically there is nothing wrong or illegal with this as far as i know so long as your intention was going to school; Hope this helps a little Beegirl1: 8 Likes |
Politics / Re: Ighoyota Amori: DISCOs, GENCOs Far Worse Than NEPA In All Aspects by Anonymous1900: 3:24pm On Sep 16, 2020 |
Nothing is wrong with it as a business model if the business in question was truly private and is not a social service where the government still has a 40% stake in the sector. I think what the poster you quoted meant was the discos abandon all responsibilities and critical infrastructure development in supposedly poor areas for areas that can pay forgetting not all those living in "poor" areas dont pay Imagine police only responding to calls from affluent neighborhoods at the expense of the whole population because thats where people pay taxes the most which pays their salaries (how about the few that pay taxes and in not so affluent communities). You may say police is not a business but if you think about it from a different perspective you could argue govt setup police business and makes revenue from taxes to run it Electricity, hospitals etc are others that cant be driven by profit P.S Even if a business is fully private, govt can and often steps in to ensure its services are fair to the citizenry without discrimination(look at govt interference with DSTV everytime) Social service infrastructure are supposed to be available without preference or favoritism to the entire population anonimi: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Career / Re: I Earn Over 300K Monthly... But I Don't Love My Job by Anonymous1900: 1:16pm On Jul 30, 2020 |
I understand where you and the person you quoted are coming from and though i agree with you almost completely, let me tell you what i have observed from the group asking him to stay Let me use this analogy to break it down a little bit as to why people stay in unhappy dead end jobs for the paycheck 1. Its almost as simple as when you were learning to ride a bike as a kid. You were scared beyond words the first time you did not have someone guiding you and the bike along or the training wheels were removed. you feared you will fall or get injured but you quickly realized either you did not fall and could stop, you fell but you had safety gear on ie helmets and knee guards (plans for the future) and when you fell, impact was minor and ultimately you got back on the bike and rode away with the wind behind you... Its not everyone that can overcome that fear hence some people never learnt how to ride a bike and sometimes the fear what will happens keeps us from moving from our position. When you accept a Job offer, the fear of what will happen is always there no matter what and if you focus more on what negatives then you may never see the positives @op: For those on the side of dont leave your job: A little nudge for them.... I just heard today that someone that left the organisation i left a few months before i did has lobbied her way back and got re-employed even during this covid. She left for better pay but found the conditions unsustainable hence the grass is not always greener on the other side and maybe she had a plan (she could lobby back to the firm) so she gave the new job a test run. The general consensus from the leave and stay group from what i can see is HAVE A PLAN (A, B if possible C & D) All fingers are not equal but please do all you can to achieve happiness in this life as you chase your goals. Its only this 1 life you have and time waits for nobody you could chose to go through life with training wheels and never take risk but ultimately you will never go faster than the speed of your guide and remain in your comfort zone. ... truthsayer009: 1 Like 1 Share |
Career / Re: I Earn Over 300K Monthly... But I Don't Love My Job by Anonymous1900: 6:49pm On Jul 28, 2020 |
Hi, A lot of responses here focus on 1 side which is you have a well paid job and you should not leave it for uncertainty in the harsh world outside (true) however let me give you a different perspective from personal experience. I have taking several life altering decisions that many would consider insane just like you are being advised now but in those cases, i had an overwhelming desire to be happy and a PLAN for finding that happiness..so it is key that you have a plan before taking that decision otherwise that happiness your looking for may still elude you for some time Similar Experience: I resigned from a Job that was paying more than yours precisely Oct 1 last year.Prior to this i had been promoted and my salary increased 4 times in 4 years. I was scheduled to be promoted again by Dec of same year and i would have reached the mandatory amount of years to get a pay off by Sept 2020. needless to say i walked away from a deal several people would consider comfortable and may even conclude some screws are lose in my head. My wife understood my reasons though and was hugely supportive. (My income was also the main source of funds for the family) Plan: Before i resigned, i had an offer from a mentor/friend i met in the cause of my duties who head hunted me for his company. I would later turn down this offer as it wont give me the happiness, peace of mind or fulfillment i craved after careful consideration even though i would have been paid more (i did recommend a good friend for the position and i believe its working out well for them). I put together savings that could take care of all my expenses like i was working for 6 months and if we cut out some luxuries maybe 8/9 months. I also prepared 2 avenues (for nov/dec start) for something minor that would give me an inflow to cover my expenses and leave my savings intact while i figure out how to achieve that inner peace. The reason i resigned was due to lack of career direction and focus (it made me extremely unhappy), the company was hugely political and favoritism was more recognized than hard work. We hardly solved problems and we were mostly just passing time and doing the motions. i was privy to many things that showed me while i could make a lot of money here, i would never be happy with the organisational culture. I was however valued, well respected and capable in my duties and it was a rude shock for the management when i offered to resign. i had to seat with several management staff who tried to find my reason or change my mind. of cos i had the school of thought to never bad mouth your previous employer and i gave raving reviews to everyone that asked (simply said it was for family reasons and they understood eventually). As some have pointed out, I also never let the hype of my annual reviews and glowing recommendations get into my head (everyone is replaceable) and you may not even get 1 min of silence if you die on the job. The company would definitely not stop operations to remember you. as they say "tree near tree na why monkey dey show skill" The few friends i told i was resigning were shocked when i told them i did not have another offer but i had a plan with several fail safes and i put them all to action (did not tell them this) My advise: your happiness is not overrated and you should do everything within your means to put yourself in a happy environment. it will transform every part of your existence. its not coincidence that some of the most famous people in the world are also the most depressed with suicide rates increasing even in places it was deemed a taboo to commit suicide (like Nigeria). Develop a plan and get out of that toxic environment (future you would thank you) . be realistic in your plan and dont necessarily wait 2-5 years extra to endure the madness before leaving (hoping to save millions) afterall, "YOU COULD BE FIRED" what then? For a little Motivation: Less than 12 months from taking that decision, I have a Job that pays significantly more than the one i left. i have a side hustle that pays more than my current Job which i started after i left my previous employment. When i think about my situation now, all i can say is how did i stay with that company so long God has been faithful in every way, trust him and let him guide you. Hope this helps.... engrrichie92: 4 Likes |

Got text june 3rd evening application was forwarded to SA high commission for processing so it was processed in 5 working days or 6 at most if you count the day i submitted Submitted similar documents to TOPEADE except pension and had a lil more funds in the account. I agree with you to some extent and while also share the sentiment the news is neither good or bad, it highlights some key facts such as 1. most banned goods are now imported through neighbouring countries and smuggled into nigeria. 2. ports of most neighbouring countries have now seen increased activity. 3. Nig govt is losing revenue from import duties on this goods however its not all gloom and doom since the pressure on dollar has reduced and the corrupt elements now source for those dollars elsewhere. I dont think much has changed really olajide8: 1 Like |
