They may both be correct depending on the position and qualifications of the person. If you want to make enquiries about salary you’ll get a better info when you mention the qualifications and years of experience (or grade level for government agencies).

First of all I’m not a fresh graduate, I’m vastly experienced for the role I applied for. I’m just stating facts. Screening should have been done in the beginning so that only qualified candidates are invited for aptitude test. But because Testmi is being paid based on the number of candidates that sit for the exams, they invited people irrespective of qualifications.
Secondly some roles were actually for freshers that have completed NYSC check those Analyst II positions in Legal & Licensing and Consumer Affairs.

Panel Interview with the top management is scheduled for November ending at the commission's office in Abuja. Invite would be rolled out some days before then.

Top five candidates acording to performance in the online test and quality of CV based on qualifications and experience for every role advertised are expected to be shortlisted.

Being among top scorers does not give one the guaranty of making it to the next stage. A lot of guys that had high scores have been dropped because they don't have cognate experience and skills for the expected roles. All fresh graduates were dropped also. This recruitment is strictly for experience hires.

Some roles have stiffer competition than others. Some managerial roles candidates like principal managers even performed poorly in the CBT but would be invited as they are vastly experienced.

Circa 400 candidates needed for the next stage to select about 70 candidates.

Thanks for the update Leks4sure. I’m sure you’re part of the Testmi admin. To be honest you people are dishonest, fraudulent and corrupt. All these screening of Quality of CV and years of experience for applied roles should have been done before shortlisting for exams. You know it’s strictly for experienced hires then why invite the fresh graduates?. Later you people will say our leaders are spoiling Nigeria

Hope you know Salary isn’t the only Metric used to measure total employee compensation. Also some companies have higher entry level salaries but the increase isn’t much as you’re rising. While for some companies the entry level pay is fair but the increase is magnificent as you keep rising. That’s why i always laugh when people don’t mention NNPC ahead of NIMASA and co. Look at the total revenue NNPC is generating yearly, yall are really underestimating NNPC. NNPC declared the sum of 674bn naira as profit after tax for year 2021. Do you know how crazy that is? And NNPC isn’t even operating at optimum capacity o. You can’t compare it to any agency outside the oil industry. Only NLNG,IOCs and some NOCs can compare to NNPC.

Guy NIMASA is far better than NPA, I get guys working in both NIMASA and NPA, and they have all testified to that because right now the other one wants to go back to NIMASA, and apart from NLNG, NIMASA is the second most paid agency in the country, so don't deceive yourself

Tbvh a lot of the questions are applied questions that require some level of field experience. If you’ve worked in a process plant and have experience with gas turbines you won’t find it difficult.

NERC has several divisions (like departments) and consumer affairs is one of them. So what he’s trying to tell you is that most of the offices in other states across the nation are forum offices under consumer affairs

Stop generalizing. Not all CBTs analyse all that you mentioned. Those are for personality and behavioral tests like game based assessments or saville swift aptitude test. But for this particular Testmi all they check is your answers. I remember when we wrote the one for NCDMB on this Testmi platform we got our scores instantly. No penalties for going back and forth and no reward for going straight. So stop confusing yourself CBT means Computer Based Test and it can come in any format.

There are so many factors to consider, like those going back and forth, those going straight, those that do not answer all and those that skip questions. There's scores for all that.

What anyone thinks the cut off would be doesn’t matter cos you don’t know ur score. That information is useless. Even if you know it wouldn’t increase your chances of getting the job. Besides cutoff marks is generally based on the performance of the applicant you’re competing with for the position you applied for and your state/geopolitical zone. So just pray you did well. Knowing the cut off mark is not important

@Anonz, pls did you write the online Assessment and then got another mail for Technical assessment you just did. I just want to confirm because when I did the Online assessment, they told us Total will contact us directly for the Technical Assessment but would be a physical one.

The technical assessment test is a discipline -specific test, so they ask u technical questions about the specific role you're applying to.
I think you'll av to actually read wide because from my experience in the technical test I did, the questions asked reflected to av an experience in the role. So if u don't av any experience, u'll need to read wide.

I can't really remember the duration for technical assessment but I think 30 minutes for 20 questions or thereabout

If all things go according to plan, aptitude test is coming up tentatively either on Tuesday, 20th of September or Saturday, 24th September. Consultants waiting for NERC to decide the final date but definitely before end of the month.

Invite for test will be sent between tomorrow and Friday. Check your phone message box and email frequently.

Aptitude test will be in 3 batches on that day to avoid congested traffic that destabilised NCDMB test in November, 2020.

14,000 applicants have been shortlisted for the assessment to fill vacancies of circa 70

The exam will last for 1 hour.

I applied for Research Analyst I and I can see my exam card. Just be patient every one will get to write the exam (i’m not 100% sure but I believe part of the parameters the recruitment agency (testmi) uses to charge for their service is number of people that sit for the exams so it’ll pay them more if they shortlist as much people as possible)

I Just deferred my admission this morning cos deadline for showing proof of funds and getting CAS for the school for September entry is this Friday.

PTDF doesn't try for this year's selection process. Something that can be done in less than a week is taking them to eternity. They computerized the entire selection process and all that is required to shortlist applicants is just a click. But don't know why the delay. And they are expecting people to start September session. Many will be left with only option to defer the scholarship. From all indication, the list may not even come out this week and next week is August. Kai! Nigeria for us. We pray to be among the successful applicants in the end.

Its an intelligent org, an engineer can fit in cause they test run gadgets. Maybe later in future u can have Msc in any of their dept.. Smart guys accept work and change discpline after 2yrs (study leave to boost ur standards).
