Good morning, it's better to study another course, so companies or employers will know that you are versatile and also you will have more Job opportunities outside your first degree. I too studied mass comm, but I registered for political science for Msc in Unilag. There are other courses like marketing, pol science, MPA(this is a professional course, not an academic course), etc... You can check online at the University's postgraduate website for courses you can do as a mass comm graduate.

Please don't even start cos the average course that goes for 3 units in public schools weights 2 unit in average private school. The industrial report says it all.

If na public school that guy fit nor even see 2.1sef, which kind rotten 4.96 be that. A 2.2 graduate in some die hard public school can graduate with a CGPA of 4.96 in any private school in Nigeria, their admission process is not even challenging all the just want are students who can pay their expensive school fees.

If that guy study abroad he for still get the same result but omor if na for naija public school expecially the state schools in Nigeria guy Forget it.

my fellow nairalanders in the education sector, iam rounding up my final year exam this month and am thinking of pursuing my msc immediately after my youth service if possible before it, but i dont know how much it will cost me to earn an master of science degree abroad, i will prefer if it is uk or USA but any other option is welcome.

nice thread _{(why diddnt i think of it)}. i used to be a lab scientist during my IT days. it was really interesting and very challenging and i have to say, medical lab scientist are the most underated and uncelebrated in the medical field. we do all the dirty work and the doctors get all the praise and recognition. not fair

I'm looking to further my education, concurrently with my work, no passion for the sciences anymore, so I'm looking at an MBA. I've heard a lot of talk about online programs but I've come to realise they are either overly expensive or the cheap ones have little or no recognition in the labour market. I've tried the distance learning in one of the universities in the southeast but couldn't keep up due to time constraint, had to drop out cuz I missed a couple of tests and exams. I've also considered the National Open Uni but honestly speaking, I'd rather pursue my dreams at an institution with more pedigree (no offense intended).


Pls, I'd appreciate if there are any MBA programs that are cheap and flexible for working class individuals like myself based in Abuja who have a tight schedule. Thanks everyone.
