Hi house, I recommended Redmi Note 6 pro for my friend and he got it 2 days ago but he's telling me that the phone battery doesn't last and that he noticed that his phone was hot while he was playing music with an earpiece today... Please are users of Redmi Note 6 Pro experiencing such? Though I suggested to him that he should update to the MIUI V10.0.5.0 update notification on his phone that it might fix the battery issues he is having... So I decided to bring it here to see if anyone has experienced such before.

But I don't have a mifi or a phone to which I'd connect for this purpose. Don't you think something erroneous could have occurred when you were updating yours initially? Plus, do you have an idea of the amount of data that might be required?

it happened last night, i had it all dried putting it beside a source of heat with an opened screen.I opened the screen myself though since i was too scared to lose my phone. apparently, i opened it wrong but the screen malfunctions now.
i was complaining about my notification bar not dragging down some months ago right? just found out it was the screen all along as it now works but the middle part of the screen doesn't now.
the phone didn't last a second in water though and everything else seems to be good.

You're mixing it up. Your sensor is what's faulty and not the screen

The one at Old market road is more or less their headquarter. There are some other post offices in Onitsha like I was made to know but you'd rarely notice their existence because they're in desolate and dilapidated conditions but they exist, and are functional. Like the one where I picked up my item in Nkpor, I had nightmares each time I imagine my phone sleeping over there over the weekend.

Hi guys... Y'all should welcome me to the Xiaomi family. The long wait is over. Omo 3 weeks no be beans. I ordered through Noobody on the 2nd of June. My item got to Onitsha post office on Friday 22nd afternoon from Lagos. Went there only to be told to go to the post office close to my residence because according to them, "your item must get to the closest post office in your address before claiming it" even though they admitted to having my package there and then. So in order words, I should chill and wait until I'm called by my "nearest" post office for my item.

That was how I went through the weekend dreaming of my phone ... Long story short, I was finally called today to come claim my device. They weighed it and said that I was lucky; that I would have paid #500 assuming my package got to a certain weight that I cared less to know. I was just thanking my stars that those people working there aren't members of this group to see the outrageous amounts being bandied here as custom fees. Ended up giving them #200 for r'card and that was it.

When was it despatched over seas? I think it takes 7-10days after despatched to overseas these days. Shipping and delivery was faster 2 weeks ago but it seems to have petered a bit.

My 'despatched' date is 12th June
