Ennyhorlar:OK. But I'm only keen on a brand new. Thanks. |
macbeyland:Thanks, and yes, 3 weeks is new but I'm only interested in brand new. Let's hope your order will arrive next week like you said. I'd wait. |
Ennyhorlar:New or used ![]() |
macbeyland:Hey Macbeyland, how far with the Redmi 5 plus? Is it already on the way? Is there hope this week? |
I'm in the same shoes with the Op. 50 - 55k (max) budget. I have interest in Xiaomi products as I'd want to give them a trial cos I've heard so much about them. My only problem is the wait to get the phone as I heard they are usually bought online — no physical store. And the much I can wait is 1 week from now. I'm also considering getting an Infinix Note 4 (3gb, 32gb variant) between today and Monday. Please help a NLer make a good decision |
I don't think you're serious yet with this your thread |
SamuelAnyawu:In your cartoon, the PDP aren't even complete, hence not ready for the game either. |
ZarahBuhari:In the said cartoon, the PDP aren't even complete, hence not ready for the game either. |
adontcare:You just described a guy I know. I just pity for our girls. |
airmirthd1:Lol yes, I want to get a new phone. I'm having issues with mine. So how much is the phone? |
Hantonia:How is the phone? Any idea? |
Neurotika:Alright. You'd like it when you eventually do |
Neurotika:Please try and see Hotel Rwanda. I'm not a movie freak as I haven't seen most of these popular movies (GOT, Merlin, Prison Break, Wedding Party 2, and the most current one, Black Panther) but bro, Hotel Rwanda will leave you awestruck. |
kayo80:Definitely. One can't get it all at the same time. It's either you're gaining this and losing that or the other way round. I understand Noilers will definitely command good market price because of their weight but one cannot afford to keep them for the duration one would normally keep a layer for egg production else one would run at a loss because of their food consumption rate. Thanks anyway for your time. |
kayo80:Wow! That's cool. But until we get a concise information as to the quantity of eggs that could be gotten from the same number of layers at the same age bracket, we cannot draw conclusions. I'm asking because I have interest in venturing into egg production. So would like to know precisely which, between the duo of layers and noilers will be more profitable. |
kayo80:Nice. But I later read that they don't lay as much as the brown layers since they're a hybrid of broilers and layers. Though I've not seen someone with first hand experience on the two breeds to review from. |
kayo80:Do they lay eggs like the layers? If yes, can one rely on them for egg production purposes and is it worth it when you factor in their consumption rate? |
@Agronewsng Please to whom do we address the letter to?
Thanks as I await your response |
*THE “X” IN “XMAS” DOESN’T TAKE THE “CHRIST” OUT OF “CHRISTMAS”* ----------------------------------------- It is a popular myth that “Xmas” is a non-religious name/spelling for “Christmas”. It turns out, “Xmas” is *NOT* a non-religious version of “Christmas”. The “X” is actually indicating the Greek letter “Chi”, which is short for the Greek 'Xριστος', meaning “Christ”. So “Xmas” and “Christmas” are equivalent in every way except their lettering. Religious writers, started the whole “Xmas” thing in the first place. Indeed, the practice of using the symbol “X” in place of Christ’s name has been going on amongst religious scholars for at least 1000 years. Eventually, this shorthand trick spread to non-religious writings where nearly everywhere “Christ” appeared in a word, the Greek Chi (X - *note that it is not the same as the English alphabet X /'ex/*) would replace that part of the word. For example, in the 17th and 18th centuries, there are numerous non-religious documents containing instances of “Xine”, which was a common spelling for someone whose name was Christine. (Note also that the name was still pronounced /Christine/ and not /Extine/ To claim therefore, that Xmas is a pagan spelling of Christmas is either ignorance of the Greek language from which it is derived or denial of its Christian origins, which in turn will be unfaithfulness to Christian history. If it were pagan, you wouldn't see it being used so lavishly in ancient and current Christian literature. Some of our church buildings, altars, liturgical vestments and vessels still have the various symbols of Christ (XP, IHS, fish, bread, cross etc) inscribed on them. This is not to promote the use of Xmas over the use of Christmas, which mean the same anyway, but facts are sacred. We are simply glorifying paganism by attributing to it that which does not belong to it. The right, factual and appropriate source of knowledge is crucial to making a case in these matters - Rev. Fr. Theophilus Odukwe
