Wannabenz: Abeg how do I pass the facial verification on binance? I did all I could yet no progress. Make sure you're where there is enough luminance; make sure your face fits in the circle and it's close enough; when they ask you to blink, do it intermittently, and slowly too. If it fails, try again. |

Beware of scammers gradually crawling in here...
Enough has been said on this; If you want to buy cryp.to, go through verified channels like Binance P2P.
Trust Nigerians, this CBN ban has presented another medium to scam. |

bizzibodi: I need that info too..to move koin to other exchg The info is about converting your coins or fiat in Luno into xrp then transfer to Binance or any other exchange. Are you using luno? If yes then convert all your coins or fiat into xrp, then copy your xrp address from the exchange site you want it moved to and paste it on luno for the transfer. You can subsequently convert back to your coin of choice after you must have received it. Unless you're talking about "koin" cry.pto then I don't know much about that because it's not on Binance and that's the only place I'm focused on right now. |

LOquence: ok bro.. After initiating the payment, it say delays might be experienced hence I should wait for 30mins. It is over 4hrs now and no reflection. That's why I'm worried. This is my first deposit on luno. I don't know what could be the cause. Maybe this is as a result of this CBN ban. Just remain patient and hopeful that the money is reversed because flutterwave has already sent mails to people that they're no more in the business of crypto in Nigeria. |
Investment › Re: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Anowax(m): 4:54pm On Feb 05, 2021 |
LOquence: I am just depositing for the first time. I used the Flutterwave and I was given a sterling bank account to make payment. But I didn't put the reference no. Will that cause a problem? You don't need a reference number for deposit. That account number provided for you is strictly for the purpose of that transaction. It would only expire after a few minutes (say 30 mins) or hours. Maybe the delay is as a result of this recent CBN ban because Luno usually do not take time to credit one's account after payment. |

With good backlash, they may backdown. Afterall, even $eun finally allowed a crypt0 discussion thread Yea I know of the P2P just that it appears a little bit costly. Imagine as ETH is around 820k and when I checked the P2P section, it's been sold between 856k - 858k. The margin seems to be wide |

ChybuzzDD: How about the high rate of scammers in p2p?? How about funding your wallet? I feel scamming on sites such as Binance is unlikely if not impossible. And while buying on Binance via P2P; factors you should look out for while deciding from whom to buy are; (1) The number of orders the person has executed (2) Completion rate (%)... These are the two major things that will help inform your choice of whom to buy from. When you click on each seller, Binance also breaks it down giving you information such as the person's average Release and Pay time... Your worry using P2P should be the cost of buying through that platform as it's more expensive than buying it directly yourself. |

Sailor1: Nice points you've raised and I'd say you have done well for someone who started in December
But one thing I strongly disagree with is your take on betece You are the second person saying that this week an it is getting me scared. make una cool down first mk my altys pump. I quoted a post a while ago on my discussion with someone on the treasury bills thread in December when he said altys are dead. I smiled and told him that is an indicator that altys will soon run and eclipse betece.
I keep saying cycles cos in this market, timing a cycle is where all your money is made or lost
see how it works 1. Betece pumps milking altys- people say institutions are only interested n betece that altys are shitcoyn... 2. Eith then pumps... and out performs betece 3. Majors- midcaps and micros follow and do multiples of betece and eith... people say that betece is dead and an old coyn 4. Betece wakes and in one day wipes away alyt profits of 3 months people eye go then clear
The facts are these 1. If eith did not break ATH, all this movement on altys wouldn't have occured. If eith pumps further and doubles its value, alyts will do x10-x20 sef 2. Early Jan, betece reached 42k, eith pumped from 700-1200 to signify the start of an alyt season. Since then, betece has been ranging...and alyts have gone ballistic. When the time comes, betece will still range and alyts will tank and wipe profits made 3. I know you may be thinking that when that time comes, you'd cash out asap....lol... That is what millions are saying... 4. sensible thing todo now willbe to use this run and gather more betece or eith or take good profits into cash. Trust me, you do not want to be holding any alyt when betece turns. 5. New coyns, majors, minors, micros, eith and betece all have their use- I would still advise splitting your portfolio accordingly if you are new 6. Chart any alyt against betece and ask yourself which one you want to trade.
I know alot of good traders who only trade betece and eith.. I don't know of any who only trades alyts.
All in all, for new folks here. All your money is made or lost in timing cycles. Bull runs are very easy to trade but there are life lessons that you can only learn in a bear market or trading a full market cycle. Keep calm headed and don't let the alyt pump take your focus out of where we are in the market cycle. I know it doesn't make sense now but your safest bet here is still betece followed by eith When you say bear market, do you mean that during that time the worth of coins (say Eithy) continues to go down and down and down after having gone up during this current bull market... I need a bit of an insight. Thanks |

TheEnlightenedO: I’d have been hurt too tbh... A nice chunk of profit going to fees. Sometimes it take almost an hour or more for limit orders to fill, don’t rush, if you’re in a hurry, observe the order book, if you see there’s a new order above yours, fight for ur right and reduce your price by a few digits under the topmost one. If u had set for 650,500, and someone showed up with 650,000, hit his arse with a 649,900 and watch urs fill I tell you honestly, I have learnt a lot from your posts especially with regards to this limit order stuff. Still learning though as I've got a lot to learn with regards to charts and whatnot. Remain blessed. |

jedisco: My brother it's difficult to say... No one can time the top of a bubble and it's always better to take profits on the way up rather than be forced to sell on the way down. It's in bubble territory now and I'm only interested in taking profits and not long term plays.
I wouldn't advise to get in now... A good area may be a clean break and flip of the 19-20 level or wait for it at a lower level.
After annoyingly selling link early at 13 earlier this year (bought at 4 ish), I was confident to hold dot when it went from 4 to 10.
I had estimated 20 to be a top but the stuff is still showing strength and ready to rip.
There's something about round figures in this market... Most trend reversals occur at round figures. If it crosses 20, then 28-30 is an easy target... Nobody cap pass you for this thread. I swear |

Enyinne: Thanks . On binance , i don't know how to make the account start working. And on luno my limit is 200k , pls what do i do to increase deposit amount . Thanks By "start working" what do you mean? One thing I know about genuine exchange sites is that for anything to work, you need to verify your account. So make sure you are verified by providing your ID and other requisite information they might need. Do that and you're good to go. Do same for Luno. The higher your level of verification, the higher your transaction limit. Visit the verification section (under settings) in Luno and get your account verified up to level 3 and that would solve your 200k limit issue. Finally as a newbie on Binance (if you're using the app), it's best to select the Binance lite option for better understanding as the other version can be confusing for a starter. |

FlyHeight: It’s a lot like gambling but it’s relatively easy once you get a hold of it and you need a heart of stone...
If you want to learn I would suggest you run your own practicals using real money not those demo accts.
Practical example here: try using a high risk coin like rip, you can also try this for the next 24 hrs and let me know ur results...
I bought 100k @ 138 = 724 rip by 2am today I sold at 147 when I woke up for 106k by 7am
Bought back in by 9am when it dropped to 144 for my 106k at 739 rip Sold few mins ago at 145.7 cuz the market has been boring for over an hour for almost 108k.
Same for Lite, bought 100k at 73.2k by midnight, for 1.366 & sold at 76,400 by past 3am for 104k Bought 104k at 75,500 by 4:30 for 1.3824 and sold a while back at 78,400 for 108k.
Pls note all figures above were actual trades i just used the 100k figures for reference... my trades were in more digits, but i figured it’d be easier to understand using 100k as a reference point
Both values in cryp and NGN increased by close to 8% and I’ve only done two roundhouse trades in 24hrs... I set targets of 2% profits and 1% losses for myself daily, most days in the past 4 months I’ve been able to do close to 5% daily, and on days where the jumps are major, it’s a party...
Pls note: rip is currently a risky coin & would serve best if you monitor closely, however it threads off the success of eith so watching eith will help guide thru rip. Rip just serves best if you’re a newbie trying to make some while learning... and it works like the stock market, less figures to confuse you, once you get a hold of this technique you’re ready to take on the big bee. You’d panic less when you’re losing money by the tens of thousands once you enter full DT with the big bee, cuz you would know how to bounce back. Oga Edu please I want to ask, do you use debit card while making your purchases or do you make use of fiat (i.e. you transfer to your wallet and then buy)? Why I ask is because I noticed buying with fiat is more expensive on Binance... Have been trying to pay with my Stanbic IBTC debit MasterCard and I keep getting failed transaction message at the end of the day. |
