NwekereNdoki:You can take a horse to a stream but you cannot force it to drink. Stop trying by half to deceive yourself about your origin, we know who you are and where you come from. My earnest prayer is that your state Abia gets it right in the coming poll. Abia appears to be the worst hit in Nigeria as per governance, as they haven't for once since 1999 have a reprieve with a good leader. You can champion that on nairaland, hopefully people of Abia can key into it so that you guys can get it right for once. |
globemoney01:The highlighted section summed it up. I have been reading the guy's posts here since he came with that new moniker. All his posts here are just about running Anambra down in a veiled attempt. The whole point is stirred by jealousy and how Anambra has leap frogged under Obiano with those mega projects that has placed it as more or less a major force to reckon with in Nigeria. It is quite clear that such could stir up envy amongst states around, but it is a wake up call for states still lagging behind to at least elect decent people to pilot their state |
NwekereNdoki:You are such a nauseating fellow. Firstly I am not paid by anyone, not Obiano, not Soludo, i am just a patriotic Anambra son that wants good governance as it has been embedded in Anambra. I am not here either to defend any individual but for good of Anambra. Ok you said that Obi left 75b, why didn't the Orjis leave money for Ikpeazu? Is it Anambra's fault that they have good leaders as against Abia that has continued to produce mediocres and thieves as governors since 1999? You said airport, ICC, stadium, etc are not more than10b? Have you seen why I always noted that you are here because of envy and mischief. If those projects were so easy and that cheap why didn't your governors in abia build it? You don't have roads in Abia and still don't have airport nor decent ICC, your governor is still owing workers almost 2yrs arrears despite the huge debt, what then did your governor achieve? I can list the projects Obiano did but you cannot point to what Ikpeazu achieved in his wasted years in office. Of recent your governor has become a PA to a fellow governor while Abia continued to go down but you found nothing wrong with it. Anambra is progressing and has continued to progress. You should channel the question of "where Abia money was spent " to all the governors that have ruled Abia state. You should be sober and ask pertinent questions, why is Abia with all its potential continued to be a failed state. At least Anambra has number of tanglble projects they can trace to Obiano, like the spanking new international airport, the worldclass international convention centre, flyovers, bridges, roads, schools, hospitals, etc. No single government can do all the projects. Now Soludo will continue in other aspects governance, he won't buikd another airport nor another ICC , etc, Please list any reasonable project done by Abia leaders since 1999. There's almost nothing, but everyday you are here while abia is in ruins. All the time you waste here is enough for you to champion the campaign for Abia to have a good governor for once in the next poll, but you threw commonsense away to camp here everyday in your attempt to deceive yourself. I don't want to attack your state like you always do here, but let commonsense reign in you. This is not the only igbo thread on nairaland. There's equally Abia thread somewhere, find time and contribute to the betterment of your state. It is a thing of shame that you Abia people have given up on your state, instead running around other states as moral compass. I will stop here for now. |
NwekereNdoki:Please stop embarrassing yourself here. Though I am not here to measure dick with you but it is an insult to compare your mediocre incompetent governor Ikpeazu who failed woefully as a governor of Abia state to a progressive minded governor like Obiano who didn't just build urban and rural roads but equally bequeathed Anambra with a spanking brand new international airport, International convention centre, stadium, flyovers, bridges, hospitals, schools, and equally meeting up the monthly dues of civil servants, etc. No government can finish all the road projects in eight years. The last I checked your governor Ikpeazu is owing civil servants over 30months salary arrears not to talking of fixing Abia roads which is adjudged the worst in Nigeria. But you always appear to feel that all is well with your state. You have been the one derailing this thread from time, and now you have a willing partner that you constantly quote in your mischievous attempts to derail this thread. If you had put in this type of effort on issues concerning Abia, I don't think your governor would turn to a PA to Gov Wike. Respect yourself and focus more on your state than constantly coming here to deceive yourself. |
NwekereNdoki:You and the guy you quoted kept trolling in this thread, why? I was made to understand you are from Abia, why are you constantly here when you should be making effort to enthrone good governance in Abia just like Anambra has done since the time of Ngige to Obi to Obiano and now Soludo. Do something meaningful for the good of your state of origin. Peace |

SOLUDO FLAGS OFF OVER SIXTY THREE KILOMETERS OF ROAD TO MARK SIX MONTHS IN OFFICE ON SATURDAY Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo will flag-off over sixty three kilometers of roads across the state this Saturday. Governor Soludo dropped the hint during the commissioning ceremony of a 1.7 kilometer road, built by Chief Val Onwumelu in Umuoji, Idemili North Local Government Area. Governor Soludo who was pleased with the community reaffirmed again that the best way to develop the state is through Public Community Private Partnership, (PCPP), not through government funding alone He emphasised that this is the kind of thing we should be mainstreaming in Anambra State, which every comminity should emulate Speaking further, he recalled the Neni model which the Governor described as the Anambra spirit, explaining that when the people of Neni started it, Chief Tonimas of blessed memory took up the challenge and ended up tarring about 18 kilometers of road, with some other equally good spirited individuals joining with additional 6 kms of roads "The Tonimas experience is an example. Umuoji and Anambra, if you know the much you can do, please do. We have come to celebrate that community spirit that distinguishes Anambra from the rest. I promised Ndi Anambra that there will be a difference, that I will account for the limited resources, to affect the poorest of the poor and downtrodden. We have entered 'ember' months and Anambra will become a massive construction site. As for the Inland door road, we declare state of emergency on it. I've told the Commissioner for Works that this week, they must begin to mobilize there. Whatever is needed to mobilize, we will provide". The Governor in a related development also flagged off the rehabilitation of the popular Mmili John road, Ojoto, in Idemili South Local Government Area of the State Speaking at the occasion, Governor Soludo said, "We have come to break a long standing jinx at the famous Mmili John where whenever it rains, the flood occupies the road, such that commuters can differentiate the river from the road. The solution is here. We have come and the Mmili John problem will be done with." "The first time we came to Idemili was at Oba, to flag-off the building of the concentrated drug center. The next is this Mmili John. We were told that it may cut at any time. I thank Ojoto people for all they have done for themselves. I have said it many times that Anambra will develop through the PCPP model we are mainstreaming. The private capital will develop Anambra. That's why we are mainstreaming and promoting the Neni model". The Governor reiterated Speaking on government street lights, Governor Soludo noted that the street light project is not sustainable because of the cost of diesel, explaining that his administration is gradually converting them back to solar, afterwhich they will begin new ones within the availability of funds The Commissioner for Works Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma said that the Umuoji road is 450 meters 2 spurs and well asphalted, explaining that to solve the issue in Mmili John road, the contractor will dredge 500 meters of the river, by the left and right sides, desilt the culvert and widen the river-flow. He equally affirmed that the contractor have assured that the project will be completed in six weeks time.
