forgiveness:Yorubaland is too rustic and backward. This is what you see when you search ibadan on Google. This is a pure village
forgiveness:Stop digressing, show us Abeokuta, aerial view lemme check something ![]() |
forgiveness:Nnewi is the least of the 3 major cities in Anambra but it is more decently developed than Abeokuta. Yes, Ogun is more developed than Anambra in mud houses because you can hardly find mud house in Anambra
forgiveness:This is what you see when you search Abeokuta on Google. Abeokuta is a complete glorified village, they should demolish the town
forgiveness:Here's Nnewi, now compare it to ibadan and Abeokuta. ![]()
forgiveness:What's this nonsense you are showing? Ibadan, Abeokuta, osogbo, akure and ado ekiti are all villages littered with mud houses. All the state capitals in yorubaland except Lagos are all glorified villages. This cannot be development but backwardness

forgiveness:Nnewi is more decently developed than ibadan and Abeokuta

forgiveness:Osogbo can't even compete with rural areas in Anambra. Awka is like Las Vegas compared to osogbo village. Even Nnewi is even like Paris compared to osogbo. See Nnewi below
forgiveness:Onitsha is like London compared to Abeokuta. Abeokuta is a stone age town
[s] forgiveness:[/s] I have been to Ogu and Abeokuta in particular Abeokuta is not up a rural area in Anambra. Awka on the hand is like America compared to Abeokuta. Abeokuta should be demolished
forgiveness:You are just saying it to feel good but in reality Abeokuta is still in stone age. It is an insult to compare it to anywhere in Anambra. ![]()
forgiveness:I showed you Abeokuta, it is a village |
forgiveness:Abeokuta is not fit to be a state capital. The town should be demolished and be rebuilt. This is an embarrassment to Ogun state and yorubas at large https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnDCVOaIX4I |

NCAA Approves Opening Of Anambra International Cargo And Passenger Airport Effective December 2nd, 2021. By Uche Nworah (ABS News) The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued authority to Anambra state government to open Anambra International Cargo And Passenger Airport for commercial operations with effect from 2nd December, 2021. In a letter dated 1st December, 2021, addressed to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state, the aviation authority said that it has received security clearance from relevant security agencies for the opening. It said that the negative security clearance was the reason the authority had declined approval for the opening of the airport on the 30th of October 2021, when the state government had scheduled the commissioning. In the interim, Category B aircrafts are permitted to land and take off from the airport from sunrise to sunset. Speaking on the development, Anambra state Commissioner for Works, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor praised the efforts of Governor Obiano who never relented, even while on vacation to ensure that the Anambra airport becomes operational ahead of the Christmas 2021 mass return of Ndi Anambra living in the diaspora, and other visitors. With this NCAA clearance, airlines already approved by the relevant authorities to operate at the Anambra airport such as Airpeace, Ibom Air, United Nigeria and others are expected to start scheduling flights into and out of the airport immediately. Ceegar01:Awka Millennium city is so large. They are still on phase 1. It has phase 2 and also phase 3. |
Cjrane2:I quite agree with you that more of this type of development should be replicated in other parts of the state. However I disagree with you over the size. The original size of AMC has been altered and more hectares of land added to the original plan, making it almost a full city scale. The size of Awka Millennium city is large enough to transform not just Anambra as a whole but also the entire southeast real estate sector. |
Excellent infrastructures/roads are being mapped out and constructed at the Awka Millennium city. The best precinct in the region for the creme dela creme. This is our own Banana island in igboland.
AmericanQuarter:Beautiful neighbourhood. Onitsha is a well planned city. There are many luxury neighbourhoods coming up around 3-3, GRA PHASE 2, Nkwelle, etc. The ongoing Onitsha luxury estate at Nkwelle GRA will form the Banana island of the east. There's equally Soul city ongoing at 2nd Niger Bridge axis. Awka Millennium city stands out as the best precinct in igboland. Generally Anambra is moving forward |
AmericanQuarter:Nice. Looks like some of those neighbourhoods in Lekki |
Gonzanga Jesuit college Okija Anambra State
A month after its resumption, Gonzaga Jesuit College Okija celebrated its first Mass of the Holy Spirit on the 31st day of October. Like every other Jesuit school, the school community, together with parents and Jesuits and the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus, committed the academic year into God’s providence by invoking the Holy Spirit. During his Homily, the provincial Fr. Chukwuyenum Afiawari, SJ expressed his satisfaction with the school’s progress in its one month of opening. He also expressed his gratitude to the benefactor of the school and the many collaborators. After the post-communion prayer, the students were inducted into the school. The induction ceremony was led by the principal, Rev. Fr. Joe-Stannis Okoye, SJ.
Anambra Jesuit college is the fourth Jesuit secondary school in Nigeria, with the other three located in the Rivers State, Lagos State, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
