toyrus:It's lovely....You can pass ur needle thru a number of beads and sew on ur petal until u are done sewing round the top of ur hair piece. |
noncy21:It's lovely. |
kITATITA:Maybe it's the way you brought them up.It's good to instil that fear in some of these children. My neighbour's children are so wild and rude because the only thing you hear the parents saying is "I will beat o" nothing more. You go to their house, you see the two kids(5 & 2yrs) jumping from one chair to the other, if their mum tell them to stop, the answer is "no".They even do it in presence of visitors, changing channels whenever they like and their dad is in the sitting room watching TV with their visitor, atimes you hear them telling their mum that her mouth is smelling and she will be laughing. When they are brought to my house they behave like saints because I don't tolerate their rubbish but once they see their mum, their wings will come out, that is when they would spoil one thing or the other in my room, touch things I'm making for my customers, jump on my bed.Whereas, I have visited their mum's friend who happens to be a kinda adviser to me, I was surprised, the kids (three of them) were in the sitting room, I never heard any noise till I, my neighbour and another guy left that house. It's good to discipline children else they will turn out to be something you didn't bargain for, the youngest amongst my siblings is an example and my parents are seeing it now, a kid does something wrong, misbehaves, you won't flog him simply because he's the last child, when he becomes rude and disobedient, you start blaming the devil. Flogging isn't the only way to correct a child though but sometimes, it'sthe most efficient. |

One silly thing sent me an invite on BBM yesterday, I quickly accepted thinking it was a girl from nairaland because I dropped my pin and number for those who requested for it in the thread I created for tutorials. When accepted, I saw a a girl's picture but the person was quick to introduce himself that he's a guy and me his name and that he got my number and pin from nairaland, I said "ok".He asked where I live, I politely told him, the next thing was that he wanted to seemy picture, I asked "why", he said he just wanted to see it and he immediately sent his.All the while, I tried to be polite, I changed my dp and told him to check my dp because it was my work that was on display. Next message I got from the id.ot was "wow, u re so hot and pretty" "u re so sexy, ur hip, I love it" "if u were here I would f**k u It was as if someone poured cold water on me, I quickly blocked him, didn't bother replying. I wasn't myself till I told my fiance later in the evening. I have removed my contact from the thread. It's so unfortunate, you chat with someone, you begin to imagine being intimate with her, does that make sense ![]() |

noncy21:You only need to fold once then you will get d arc shape.Check d picture I uploaded. |
noncy21:Did u cut out a circular shaped cloth before folding? Check he picture for guidance. |
I blame the elder sister. My younger sister cannot come to my house and start telling me to tell my hubby to help her with house chores. She belittled her husband and that gave that girl the guts to disrespect the man in that manner.Even working class women take care of their homes, if the husband wants to help, then fine but not you as a married woman leaving your duties to your husband and sister just because he stays at home all day. I'll understand if it's the elder sister that is complaining that her husband doesn't help her and it's just the two of them in the house. The way you treat your husband in presence of friends and family is the way they will treat him because you have given tbem the permission. |
Sorry guys, I didn't know I would stay so long, it's all because of my wedding plans. Since I won't be able to teach anything on bead now, let us try Ankara Petals hair piece. Materials needed are:-Ankara, Round object, Needle, Thread,Clip/Comb, Beads (optional). **Place a round object on the ankara or any other material you want to use and draw out a round shape.**Cut your material with scissors and fold into two like the first step you see on the picture. **Continue till you are done with all steps illustrated. **Make as many as you want and join all petals to form your hair piece.**Attach comb or clip. Upload pictures when you are done. Thanks ![]()

Pls, where can I buy the handfan stick?[/quote]Ask people who sell wedding accessories, or those who are into making of hand fans. |
So I made this earring a day before I travelled but didn't have the time to write out the steps. Can anyone try it out? The tools you need are Mandrel (you can use any round object in place of mandrel if you don't have one) and Round nose plier.

Rhukie:Thanks. |
Fight for what you want because they have no reason. My fiance's family did same to me, they never wanted me instead they started accusing me of things I never did, threathened to kill me, insulted me(they would take turns to call me to insult and threaten me).It continued for good 3yrs.We never gave up (it's not a good experience I must confess) there are times you would want to walk away. If you really love your partner, do everything to make it work, persuade your parents. My case is a testimony, I'll forever be grateful to Almighty God.I can't still believe we are planning our wedding, I can't believe, I'm now in good terms with everyone. I thank God for the good heart he gave to me, I don't hold anything against anybody. Op, I talked about my experience so you can know these things happen and you can still win the battle. Parents want to always control their children, they want to always decide what you should do and shouldn't and it's really annoying. |
