As a woman, staying at home without any source of income or help from your husband can be very frustrating. Men most times are more worried about investments and not the immediate wants or needs of the wife or child.I believe no matter how small your hubby's salary is, there should be no "my" money since there was nothing like that when you had a job.

My little advice is, apart from teaching, if there's anything you love doing e.g baking, beading, make up e.t.c,convert it to business as soon as possible.Yes, it will not be easy at first but the little you will get is far better than being in the house and quarrelling over his money.There are so many cases like this OP, you just have to be patient and make your own money too.

Also, sit him down and tell him how things where and how he has changed.

Hmmm.I'm yet to meet a reliable tailour.Most of them spend their day gossiping with apprentices, an example is the one who disappointed me with the blouse I was supposed to use for trad.There's no day you go to her shop and won't hear her and her girls mocking or gossiping about someone.

One disappointed me with a blouse I wanted to use for my trad, I was very lucky that wasn't the main blouse, I had sewn the main one form another tailour weeks earlier but gave her this second one which I was to use before the main one on that day.She kept on promising till that day, she even told me she was bringing it to my house(lies) but I didn't see her.I think she called me 2 days later after the trad that it was ready (wickedness).

I just collected my material from a so-called friend who is also a tailour.I gave her this material, four or five months back.Till two weeks ago, she refused to sew it (this is someone who charges me very high but because her work is always neat, I don't mind)I don't just know what their problem is.Sometimes I even pay in advance so they won't give me excuse, but lailai, na d same thing.

I know someone who used to wear weavons, use relaxer on her hair, wear jewelries.All of a sudden she stopped, claiming they were demonic and now see whoever uses the above mentioned as a sinner, YET, SHE GOT MARRIED FEBRUARY THIS YEAR AND HAD HER BABY LAST MONTH(Fornication no be sin abi? ) She wears her wedding ring(is ring not jewelry?)We should just stop deceiving ourselves.

I believe we are living under Grace and not Law.Concerning trousers, the trousers we ladies wear, can't be worn by guys.If you are a member of Anglican, you will discover that the Revends, Pastors, Church wardens wear garments, but those same garments can't be used by women.Abeg, only God will judge.

See, we should stop deceiving ourselves, rather keep on calling a spade a spade. This isn't about religion, but what's right and reasonable. Starting with the two ladies you cited, they just didn't understand that christianity is a personal race/conviction/dealing with God. Our pastor (Founder) said he was using necklace while he was growing up as a christian. But, he got convinced along the line and stopped. There are some habits/traits that as you dig deep in the word, get closer to the spirit (personally) you'll do away with. This can't be forced/rubbed on people. No, it can't! I always believe; God that took it away from me will also deal with him/her when the time is right. But, there are some basic principles and rules that applies to everybody in general; we aren't permitted to bring worldly things (songs, dances, dress, slang, etc) into the presence of God. That's the point!
