Yeah! I know someone who spent 45k on make up,50k for just the wrapper for trad excluding the lace they used.Now she's complaining about her ring and her hubby's own because they have turned black.She bought a ring of 5k .The thing is that the trad clothes are only occupying space now, according to her, they are too heavy to be worn on regular basis.Some of the things we spend so much money on are not just worth it, if you have excess money, fine but not wasting your whole money on unimportant things and leaving the important ones.No matter how hard to make your occasion to be the 'talk of the town', there are people who won't still be pleased

Well, I initially planned on making myself up, but oga said NO WAY! Lol.
You gown is soo lovely. I wanted to rent, but we got a really "bad" gown from davidsbridals. I don't feel so bad cos I will bless someone with it.
Honestly, I would like to have a really simple and intimate wedding, but it won't happen. My Fiance's favorite quote these days is, " money is earned, to be spent". But, I am just too frugal. , I like to save and spend "wisely".

I'd rather spend on a good vacay, than on a ceremony that'd have people come assess, speculate and gossip about your networth.

When I graduated I found it difficult worshipping in my mum's church (my dad wasn't going to church then) because all they preach about is how one church did somethingg, how girls paint lips bla bla bla.They condemn other churches,they believe they are holier than other Christians yet they are so wicked to one another and little girls are getting pregnant without being married.

When my mum refused with all those "I'm your mum, you have to worship where everyone is", I stopped going to church, she shouted and shouted until she was tired and allowed me to attend a church of my choice till I got married.

You know your father, parents will always be parents.Look for a way to handle he situation.

Make up=60k
Hairdo =10k or even more than
Gown =70k and above.

Here is what I did during my wedding, I called a friend to help me style my hair that morning because my hair is my brazillian weavon I so love my hair that I can go a year without weavon or braids.The least amount I was told by people I contacted for make up, was 50k.I spent about 45k buying the things I need which will last me for more than a year and did my make up myself.I also did not buy my gown, I rented a gown.

She's not mature.Try to explain things to her maybe face to face when next you are in the country.A good gf/wife helps her hubby to plan for their future not wasting money here and there.

Op, she's also probably frustrated that you don't see her as part of you and your family. If at all you are going to marry her, please settle everything first so she doesn't see your daughter as her rival.
