Why in the world are you guys so full of sentiments, looking for faults where there is clearly none!? Your idea of raising sentiments by tying this to Buhari makes absolutely no sense, but only tells of you as short-sighted and vindictive. No where in the world do you go late to paid work. No where.

Of course, officially they are not scared. But in the coffee room or recreation, be rest assured they beating their asssses about discussing how short life is and how, if they had a choice, they'd quit the god-forsaken job.
When someone died on Magellan the other day, Exxon did shut down operations for two weeks. Same thing when the Volta chopper leaving Jack Ryan crashed, Lukoil suspended work a bit. It's not unheard of to suspend work for some days. Still though, oil must be drilled sooner or later.

And am telling you that i saw a paper this morning on STV (MONDAY 10th August 2015) clearing stating that an aide to ex-president has returned that sum of money..
Which is more recent, 7th or 10th? Typical of PDPians if '16>19' according to you guys; why wont you claim 7th Aug is more recent than 10th..
Are you educated at all? The young man is delivering a tenable argument, while you are prancing about with a newspaper you heard read. What's wrong with you sef? Where's the paper's source? Where are the names? Just don't talk about a newspaper that might as well have done junk journalism for all we know!

U wont exist.
Simple.

That Dad's sperm cell and Mum's egg that fertilized to form u would have fertilize another woman's egg and results to another human not u.
U are only u.
U have only one chance of being u.
Over 20 million sperm cells competed for that mums egg that resulted to u. Those other sperm cells that couldn't make it degenerated and die off.
This is the reason why we hv no finger print match in the whole world.

We have to appreciate the fact that we made it to become human even if we die immediately after birth because millions of competitors couldnt reach the line we crossed
This is actually irrelevant talk. There's nothing to appreciate. You can only appreciate because you are aware. Those "competitors" are not and will never become aware, so there's really nothing to be appreciative of

Career / Advice To The Poor: Stop Envying The Rich by Antoinne: 11:24am On Aug 09, 2015
A sorry trend in Nigeria sees many poor people continually envying the rich. They see them driving around in fancy cars, exiting fancy mansions and can't stop themselves from keep their eyes of the rich. Some of the poor even go the extreme of begging for crumbs falling off the rich's table. You see doormen not facing their jobs and dutifully applying courtesy; they keep saluting "oga" and asking if he has "anything for them".

This is so pathetic and should stop!!!

Poor people, just in case you don't know, the rich have their own worries too. They might even have greater worries than you. That car you see him driving may be giving him all the worries in this world. Perhaps it just returned from a 30-day stay at the autoshop. Maybe his worry is that he's still struggling to have a baby with his wife, since that's so important to him.Perhaps, he's about to lose his job and that's his worry. Or one of his kids is a truant and that's giving him sleepless nights.

Guys, poor guys, you need to take that chill pill and stop envying rich dudes. Just stop it! This is getting way too much in that country called Nigeria. What the heck!!

Your brain can manufacture such question easily, but the truth is "it's irrelevant". If your dad had not met your mum, but had met someone else, the person resulting from that union (who clearly won't be you) will still ask the same question.
In summary, you aren't that important in the scheme of things. I'm not either. Don't believe the grandiloquent thoughts your brain manufactures. We are all just human, all too human. undecided

Humans are naturally inclined to disobey laws. Disobedience always appear to be the easier way but is that the case ? No!!
True. But when severe punishment follows disobedience, they "learn" and would rather not disobey any longer. When they instead escape justice, they are inclined to disobey again. It's psychology.

I'm not a psychologist or a sociologist but my little understanding of the human nature shows that man is naturally wired to be exploitative of a weak system. Only a tiny group of people have the discipline to manage themselves without being supervised; the vast majority of people depends on strictly enforced laws to behave themselves properly.
You couldn't have said it any better in your posts. As long as so-called Nigerian laws are not enforced, people will continue to do as they wish. After crime should come punishment. If punishment tarries, crime will follow again.

Lol. I will ignore your feeble attempt at goading me. You were begging the question. I only showed you how "simple" your argument was. Why do you bother with clothes? Why the need for any sense of propriety?

Cause and effect applies in the context which I discussed earlier. Forèplay like the term implies is the precursor to a more intimate experience. Why would you dress like a stripper and initiate or engage in heavy petting and stop halfway then claim you were raped afterwards? Had you not expressed consent already?

My dear you had it coming and you must share in the blame. Note the word "share".

Stop this puerile display of wits. pre-intimacy or no pre-intimacy, if she says no, stop that play and let her walk. She could say no and not mean it. It don't matter one bit. As long as she says no, it's no longer your show. Give these girls a break!

2. I am not the judge in this case, but if there's anybody that MUST be blamed in all these it's the parents especially the father who have put the young girl in this mess. What on earth prevents the father from either going to seek admission on behalf of his daughter, or making sure that he accompanied her to the place. Why must you trust anybody when it comes to issues like this, in my own view a female child should not be entrusted with any male under any guise, the truth is most at times we deceive ourselves and forget that we are humans who are fallible and can make disastrous decisions at times. Even some parents out of carelessness has exposed their children to early sexual encounters even under their own roof, due to this ill perceived notion of trust.

Are you deluded? If she had ended up in the university, will her father continue to accompany her to classes, stay in the same hostel, and sit beside her in the exam hall? Wake up! It's the 21st century. Any young person, 18 and above, should know well how to take care of themselves.

The kind of people on this forum are quite shocking. And to think that we are the educated youth of Nigeria.

Isn't it quite clear that the man drugged the coffee he gave her in order to weaken her?
A single pill of actifed can make a person so weak and drowsy however you will still be conscious!!

And so what if she is not a virgin? Is it only virgins that get raped?
And to think you are brandishing education as a quality call! Of course this could be rape; a 45-year old should know better not to engage an 18-year old daughter of his friend, leaving her bruised.
But has it occurred to you that she may have merely felt a sensation of being drugged, when she wasn't actually drugged? Psychology can easily explain this. And she seemed well conscious of her environment all the time, even enough to go home by herself. I don't see the evidence that she was drugged.
