The results trickling out of Eagles Square, the venue of the APC's presidential primary isn't any different from what most political analysts predicted should Buhari stay aloof. It would indeed have been the 8th wonder of the world if any of the other aspirants had managed to out-spend Tinubu in the US-dollar bazaar in Abuja. Party primaries are however different from the election proper. It's an undeniable fact that Osinbajo, by virtue of his pan-Nigerian appeal would've beaten Tinubu blue and black were this to be a poll involving all Nigerians. ...and with political realignments and horse-trading preparatory to 2023 bound to commence with the conclusion of party primaries, one potentially lethal combo that keeps playing in my head is an OSINBAJO/KWANKWASO ticket on the platform of NNPP. What do you think? |
Parachoko:That 1.5 million will be more than enough to kill Tinubu's greed-driven ambition. |
Congrats Tinubu! See you at the polls proper in 2023 but remember you'd be needing a fleet of greenback-laden bullion vans this time to buy your way to Aso Rock. A litmus test awaits your much-touted Jagabanship next year. Ire o! |
It's a no-brainer. Anyone who thinks Adamu unilaterally made that decision deserves to have their cranium examined. Why should this even be doubtful when the man himself made it clear he did so after consulting the president? Is anyone expecting our sanctimonious baba to own up and have his "squeaky-clean" garment of "integrity" tainted? Baba will as usual feign ignorance and dissociate himself yet again, but in the end Lawan will emerge. ![]() |
Don't worry Deji. We are waiting for them. ![]() |
jumper524:Aren't you tired of spreading falsehood? When did the north support OBJ and Jonathan? 2003 result: https://www.electoralgeography.com/new/en/countries/n/nigeria/nigeria-presidential-election-2003.html 2011 result: https://www.electoralgeography.com/new/en/countries/n/nigeria/nigeria-presidential-election-2011.html 2015 result: https://www.electoralgeography.com/new/en/countries/n/nigeria/nigeria-presidential-election-2015.html |
Hoelujohn:That's not true. You don't know these guys. |
IamWonderful:Alakisa yin si njo loru ni, bo pe ile a mo lola. Our Afenifere elders warned you lot profusely, sugbon elenu agba nrun. E e wa raye yin lode bayi? ![]() |
drlateef:My brother Lateefu, we have been "marking your words" since the days of Mai Mala Buni, where you lot vowed he wouldn't superintend over the last convention, Buhari wouldn't be allowed to foist a consensus chairman, bla bla bla...but how have things played out? I'm tired of marking o ja e! ![]() |
IamWonderful:While you're being castrated by your lords up north, methinks Peter Obi should be the least of your worries now ogbeni. ![]() |
alsudan:This is it. Voice of Adamu, hand of Buhari. As expected, our sanctimonious baba with his untainted "integrity" will feign ignorance and dissociate himself yet again, but in the end Lawan will emerge. ![]() |
Gozac:I'll come find you here tomorrow after the primaries. You have my word. ![]() |
helinues:What "solidarity"? Why are you lot this witless? Even if any southerner miraculously emerges the APC candidate tonight, do you sincerely believe that this party under Buhari and Adamu will work for such candidate? How else do you want the message to be passed? ![]() |

drlateef:Oremi lateefu: Does the NWC's ratification or dissent towards Lawan's candidacy even matter anymore? The message has been passed and has resonated well enough to the discerning. Even if any southerner miraculously emerges the APC candidate tonight, they will lose woefully at the election proper because this party under Buhari and Adamu will not work for any such candidate. We warned Nigerians about this satanic party in 2015, didn't we? ![]() |

Oro agba tio se lowuro ni, won ni ama se lojo ale. Baba Tinubu, aye yin re lode o! We warned you profusely in 2014/15 but you couldn't see beyond the prism of your greed-driven "life-long ambition". ![]() |
Isn't this what we've been saying all along that the APC as a party is antithetical to Nigeria's unity? ![]() |
Xscape1993:Atiku again? ...despite this utter display of contempt towards the South? How about rallying around Obi? How about the South unites, curry the Middle-Belt support and demystify the north once and for all? Buhari's deep ethno-religious bigotry has never been in question but I never anticipated that he'd go this length. I really hope this isn't true. |

tolufase:How about Obi? How about the South unites, curry the Middle-Belt support and demystify the north should this be true? |
![]() |
tamdun:Wrong. The apprehension is about his thieving and dictatorial tendencies. |
Nonpartisan1:Can you take this disgusting picture off the front page? Just look at the thieving pee-pooing octogenarian relic you're promoting? You should be ashamed of yourself. |
sogodihno:It will certainly end in tears for the ultra-desperate bullion van-deploying pee-pooing thief and his lackeys. |
Emilokoiyawon:Then install him the "Olori-Ebi" of your family. Nigeria's presidency shall never be used for reward. |
Aboki99:You don't have to, deluded bigot. Did OBJ and GEJ not win despite your non-support for them? |
jumper524:Go study past election results and stop misinforming people. The north NEVER voted OBJ or GEJ against Buhari. |
sogodihno:Careful. The "ACN bloc" cannot win without the "5%". |
drlateef:You, Lateef and your divisive leader Tinubu are the real problem of Nigeria. I've always laughed at you lot seeking a political arrangement that ensures power rotation between the Muslim north and the South West, while totally excluding the other parts of the South. First, like I have always said, the SW doesn't even have the number to nurture such and arrangement and secondly, that sort of Nigeria you envision in your head will consume you, even in the unlikely event that it ever comes to fruition. How can you be craving an arrangement based solely on hatred for a particular people? Do you know the root cause of the Rwanda genocide? ![]() What else could hasten Nigeria's dismemberment than the deliberate sidelining and ostracization of one major ethnic group from the scheme of things? Can you honestly say that Buhari has enjoyed his presidency with the amount of international attention that IPOB and Kanu have drawn towards Nigeria? ...and what about the distraction of the government, in addition to the avoidable waste of tax payers' resources on some silly, ill-advised "Operation Python Dance" in pursuit of an elusive peace that a simple policy of inclusion and sense of belonging from Buhari's government would've effortlessly achieved? I urge you to eschew your deep ethnic/religion bigotry and see the bigger picture brother. |
So Tinubu's cretins have suddenly found a hero and a mentor in little Bashir. O ma se o! ![]() |
[quote author=DownChelsea post=113467544]As politics no work, Tinubu say na music he wan do. Tinubu latest hit track. As seen on twitter. ![]()
