Assetinvestor: He may not have a particular candidate he wants to succeed him but he definitely knows those he doesn't want to succeed him and Tinubu takes the lead.
The reason why it has dragged this long is because of Tinubu's desperation and how he used Lagos funds to bribe a lot of people so Buhari wants to careful to avoid even a 1% likelihood of Tinubu emerging by hook or crook.
Also, Nigeria's current volatility must be worrying them and that is why they keep postponing the primaries while seeking a way out. This is incisive! |

If Tinubu was not contesting and had endorsed osinbajo, Sahara and other pdp media would be throwing mud at PYO daily. Tinubu won’t say what he said at Ogun if he wanted to truly contest. Mr senior brother, no road here o, but I would advice your to carry Commissioner of gutter resources for Lagos State go East(Igboland) go campaign, maybe dem fit support you there...IPOB dem dey expect you. That's the problem with Tinubu. Too many lackeys whose destinies he has looted in Lagos and who worship and pay him obeisance make him think other Nigerians are f00ls. Imagine the toad-eyed traitor even calling a South Southerner his brother and begging for support? Is 2015 too far behind that he feels people would've forgotten? |

Southerners should be wise. Tinubu joined north to fight GEJ a fellow southerner in 2015 thinking that the north will hand him aso rock after 8 years.
2 years into Buhari presidency he and his loyalists were completely sidelined until Buhari needed him for second term.
Yourubas were being killed in their land by herdsmen but Tinubu kept defending the government. Endsars happened and both Lai Mohd and Tinubu defended the government. A northerner will never defend the killing of their people....never! The economy went south, inflations, high cost of food, western border was shut, universities on strike, insecurity everywhere yet Tinubu kept mute
A man that can sacrifice and betray his people because of power is not worthy of that power!
Lagos state is a sad tale. The money Lagos state makes in IGR is enough to build a Dubai but what do we have today all because of one man and his insatiable quest for power.
This is the point where the self acclaimed political game master will be dymystified. I hope Lagos will be free from this shackles after 2023 Incisive! |

The former governors of Bornu and Nasarawa states have also been following him around. I may be wrong but I think Tinubu is the only aspirant in APC with incumbent governors and former governors on his campaign train. Says a lot about his popularity and acceptability. How about taking his bullion-van-powered "popularity and acceptability" to the NNPP, his plan "B" or better still the SDP. [s] Kei144: Prof. Wole Soyinka:
IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem. I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria.
The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, if not, Ibori would not have been included in their convention committee and Jonathan would not have been allowed to talk (He ended up indicting himself as usual anyway).
For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me that what happened in Eagle square on saturday was nothing but gathering of rogues.
Happy reading:
1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki
2. I didn't give order - Jonathan
3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu
4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George
5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa
6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.
7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi
8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.
9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda
10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki
11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.
12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.
13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau
With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution.
But I believe, it is the right thing to do. If you believe too, send this to other people to garner more support for the fight against corruption and looting in our nation. There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.

Politics › Re: VP Osinbajo Presides Over FEC Meeting by AntonVince: 3:46pm On Jun 01, 2022 |
bizgenera: This game would be won along Religious and Regional lines.
Religious wise, Yemi Osinbajo has a bigger political capital compared to Bola Tinubu.
Majority of the Christians would vote for him across all regions.
And as for Regional votes, Buhari's support would deliver the North to Osinbajo as Atiku and Kwankwaso have already fragmented the North.
Coming to the South, Osinbajo would enjoy the support of his people in the South West and also enjoy the support of the Christians in South East and South South.
Some Easterners won't even vote for Obi because he is seen as a stingy man.
Osibanjo being a weaker personality compared to Tinubu would be appealing to the oligarchies in Nigeria as he would allow status quo to continue. They can cage him with god or Adeboye with Hell Rufai closely watching him as the Vice President.
Muslim - Muslim ticket of Tinubu won't sell for now. They can promise him second term while Osinbajo steps down for him or they expose his corrupt deeds to bring him down. Which would be a lie anyway. They would never hand over to a strong man.
In any case, Osinbajo/El Rufai or Zulum ticket mathematically speaking is APC's best bet for them to win the next election.
But that is if the Judgment does not start before then. The boldened part is not true. |

Biodun556: The idea that you need core north to win presidential election is a fluke, take 2011 as a case study. Jonathan didn't have majority vote in North West and North East That's very correct. Not only Jonathan in 2011, even an incumbent OBJ with his almighty PDP that had little or no opposition at all lost virtually all the core North East and North West states, bar Kaduna and Adamawa yet he won the 2003 election. 2003 and 2011 results have proven that while a Southern candidate DOES NOT need to win the core north to be president, they MUST WIN the South convincingly to achieve such a feat. The question is can Tinubu win the South? |

Same Osinbajo that lost his polling unit to Atiku in 2019?
This so called APC chieftains are the biggest joker of the century. They should join Sabinus in making comedy . The dynamics have changed brother. This isn't 2019 when we had two northerners on the ballot. 2023 will be more about the candidate than the party. With the strong agitation for return of the presidency to the South, I assure you that a very large chunk of PDP supporters will rather vote the APC because of Osinbajo than have another northerner at the helm via the PDP. |

That should be a no-brainer for any politically-savvy analyst.
Some of us have said it umpteen times here that the South will be the joker and the battle-ground in 2023 which anyone desirous of clinching the presidency must win. At the moment, Osinbajo is the only southerner in the race with a pan-Nigerian appeal and thus the only one capable of not only winning the South but also putting up a decent showing up north. He doesn't need to win the north to be president...just a few states in the Middle-Belt and 25% of total votes cast in at least 6 of the North East and North West states combined will be more than enough, akin to what we had in 2011. |
