Want to test out Windows 11 without messing up your main computer? Using a Virtual Machine (VM) like VirtualBox is the safest way to experiment with new operating systems, run risky software, or even practice hacking techniques without any danger to your primary setup.

Here is the quick, no-stress method to get Windows 11 running inside VirtualBox, bypassing the annoying TPM and Secure Boot requirements.

Why Use a Virtual Machine?
A VM runs a complete operating system (the "Guest" inside an app on your current operating system (the "Host". It's completely isolated, which is perfect for cybersecurity testing and learning.

The Challenge: Windows 11 Requirements
Windows 11 usually demands TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, which most VirtualBox setups don't have enabled by default. Here is the simple trick to bypass those checks during installation:

The Step-by-Step Bypass
1. Prepare the Windows 11 ISO and VirtualBox

• Download the official Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft.
• Install the latest version of Oracle VM VirtualBox on your host machine.
• Create a new VM: Give it at least 4GB RAM and 2 CPU Cores. Select the downloaded ISO file when prompted.

Advanced Step Ahead!

This step requires editing the Windows Registry. Do not proceed unless you have solid working knowledge of the Windows operating system and its Registry Editor. Incorrect changes can cause instability or data loss on your virtual machine. Visit the blog link provided above for a method easier for beginners.

2. The Critical Bypass Step (Editing the Registry) When you get the error message saying your PC "cannot run Windows 11," do the following:

1. Press Shift + F10 on your keyboard to open the Command Prompt window.
2. Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
3. Navigate to the following path in the editor: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup
4. Right-click on the Setup key, select New > Key, and name the new key LabConfig.
5. With the LabConfig key selected, right-click in the empty right-hand pane and create three new DWORD (32-bit) Values:
o Name: BypassTPMCheck (Set its Value Data to 1)
o Name: BypassSecureBootCheck (Set its Value Data to 1)
o Name: BypassStorageCheck (Set its Value Data to 1)
6. Close the Registry Editor and the Command Prompt.

3. Continue Installation
• Click the Back button in the setup wizard.
• When you proceed, the Windows 11 setup should now ignore the TPM and Secure Boot errors, allowing you to select your installation type (Custom recommended) and continue installing Windows 11 within the virtual machine!

Someone wrote here that appealing a decision might take too long and the best thing to do is reapply with a different sponsor. Mohrolake reapplied and eventually got a positive decision.

Please attach to the application form an account statement showing that you have 6,720 euros in your bank account. You must have the necessary funds in your personal bank account. Sponsorship agreements provided by relatives, friends or employers are not acceptable, as the funds must have already been transferred to your bank account. For studies lasting less than one year you must have in your account an amount equivalent to 560 euros for each month of residence in Finland.
If you do not have the above-mentioned amount in your account, please attach to the application written evidence of the benefits provided by your educational institution. If you have been awarded a grant or scholarship by the government, an organisation or an educational institution, please attach the grant or scholarship decision to the application form. An account statement will not be necessary if the grant or scholarship is sufficient to support your stay in Finland
You must present the originals of all documents when submitting your application,

@bolded, I was granted a Scholarship by a senator in my constituency, I have the letter with the FGN letter headed with house of senate seal. do I need to still provide the statement or I can use the scholarship letter only as stated above?

the journey na 2014 him start, i couldn't continue because of incomplete docs.

after uaf bleeping my admission chances with there [b]we suspect the transcript might have been opened ish[/b]on the two occasions my transcript was sent. i kept receiving rejection letter from the universities i applied to, not until i was surprised with an admission letter which i wasn't expecting from the last school.

Submitted online application on the 6/7/2016

was suppose to visit the embassy on 22/7/2016 survived a road crash with just minor injuries hence couldn't make it for the interview. i had to reschedule for on 23/07/2016 at the embassy without informing them

my application moved to in progress on 15/07/2016

i got a positive decision on my application on 18/07/2016

my rp + decision reached abuja on 25/07/2016

my birthday was on 31/07/2016 my last birthday for naija. yekpa

my rp card + decision got to me today 01/08/2016

No he doesn't have payslips. Company attached a letter explaining why. Also attached were company's statement, balance sheet, income statement (profit & loss) registration documents, agreement, etc

Please in your case, did your sponsor submit payslips? What other documents did he attach?

My sponsor used his business account also for me. But funds have to come into the account regularly. What you can do is, let him write on letter head of his company, a solem affirmation that he doesn't have payslips. But show that funds are regular into his account.
