LholarB: . She is very well.. It's just this 10 weeks immunization that has being doing us shege. Plz mamas what else can I use for the high temperature asides dabbing her body with a wet cloth and giving Pcm. Her temperature was 37.5 as at yesterday but dropped to 37.2 today ...plus when will the high temperature and fussiness from the injections fizzle out.i thought she was going to sleep the pains off like she did for her 6 wks vaccines but I guess no 2 immunization are the same. Eiya pele teamie. Ours too was this week. She didn't cry as much as she did for the 6 weeks, and she didn't sleep as much as that time too. We took it Thursday and she was still a bit hot till last night. Just keep dabbing, pele, it'll soon stop. Kisses to her. |

holutosin: @Anugod please which market is Monday market in Abuja? Was talking about Dutse Market o. Mondays are usually extra big cos traders flood the market from all those village farms and other places, so foodstuffs and wares are relatively cheaper when you buy from those people that don't have shops |

hunniesuzie: Lol, I doubt, I drank coke wella when breastfeeding, didn't affect my baby one bit also dilution is a mind thing, even if you dilute you end up drinking the whole bottle so it's the same quantity that enters your system no?
Could be something else you ate sha. Veggies?
Thank God she's fine, and the weight is most likely your eyes Really? Cos I confuse o. Didn't eat veggies or anything else that could cause loose stool o. Thought it was the coke cos dem my aunties warned me against sugery stuff. They even said that initial rash baby had soon after birth was jedijedi caused by all the sugar I was consuming in pregnancy Make I just siddon dey look fess |

Anugod: How's that cutie, hope you'd still take the ROTA, odi very necessary.
Curvilicious: Welcome to the thread, you'd be fine. Since MIL is aged, just let her do small small baby duty, like leave the baby for her when you want to take a short nap or cook or wash, let her bath baby too, that's how it worked with my MIL cuz of age. You can also get one of your little sisters or cousins to live with you on the long run.

hunniesuzie: Did she take Rota? it happened to my baby, nurse said it could be immediate reaction from the Rota (which is normal). Since it's just one loose stool it's fine. Watch what happens today and take it from there No rota o, except they miraculously injected it alongside the other two injections, lol. I'm thinking it was the Pepsi. I usually dilute soft drinks before taking because of her, or take in sips over a period. But that yesterday I was so hungry I didn't know when I swallowed a whole bottle. She pooped 3 times yesterday all together, but none today yet. I was really worried cos she usually poos like once in 3-5 days before yesterday. And maybe it's just my eyes, but seems she has lost weight already I trust she's getting better now sha |

Nimi22: I just remembered ds also had watery stool after d 10wks immunisation though I didn't think it was the immunisation I thought it was the Pepsi I drank but ours started 3rd day after immunisation. I didn't use anything for him it stopped the 2nd day it started. Hmmmm. She later pooped another small one last night, but I hope it ends there. I'm still watching it sha. And then I noticed yesterday she started this dry cough like something is lodged in her throat that she wants to remove. Which kind thing be this na? My aunt once said something about not eating biscuits when I gave birth. That it would chook my baby's belle. Now I'm wondering and replaying all I ate yesterday whether it's the biscuits I ate that's causing the cough? I'm going to get drugs for her this morning. |

Giddyperson: Leave her with her dad one Saturday nah, does she take bottles? He can handle 3 hours. We've not started using bottles o. I could even consider that option if her dad would cooperate. But sometimes, coincidentally, whenever he carries her she would start crying and stop when I carry her. He feels threatened by that, saying she only wants me to carry her. Sometimes he even says she does that deliberately because she loves me more. Small pikin wey never sabi anything o He won't even let me toy with the idea of leaving her alone with him... Except she changes and accepts him back. |

Nimi22: Me Don enter market o. There was nobody to drop him with at home and I needed to go to market. So I backed him thank God he slept throughout. I just covered him with a flannel. I thought of covering on my back cos of the dirty air, but this one that she can sweat ehn, I jus tire. Ordinary backing her at home for her to sleep and she will be sweating seriously. I would have to stand under fan till I'm ready to put her down. Just imagining how covering her will be. Chai |

JGracious: Babies react differently. The few times I entered the market with my ds, I strapped him to my back with his hands inside so he doesn't go stretching his hands to touch anyone. I also buy from the nearest seller and avoid going upandan to get good bargains. just make sure your baby is well fed before going to avoid cry cry and all the women begging you to stop and breastfeed your baby. I try to avoid it cos I'm not too comfortable with the idea. Me that can like to waka waka. That breastsucking thing ehn, make God just help me sha, cos my baby can like to fall hand ehn She's a big foodie and wouldn't mind eating every 30 minutes as long as she's not sleeping. |

I've never carried my daughter to market cos I spend a lot of time doing waka waka and I consider the hot sun. Seriously, I wouldn't even bother if I had someone to leave her with, but no one, Grinding pepper, dust, vehicle exhaust etc. Chai, na wa o |

Good morning mummies. Abeg pardon my silly question. When babies begin to go out normally (from 3 months), is it OK to enter market with them? Will all the different smells and noisy market environment affect them in any way? Cos they're used to the quiet, clean air environment at home. Please no look the question, just answer me. Na ftm cause am |
