Say it again |
The first industrial revolution used water and steam power to mechanized production, Nigeria was not there. The second used electric power to create mass production, Nigeria was no where to be found. The third used electronics and information technology to automate production, at this level, Nigeria was just waking up. Now the wind of fourth revolution is blowing all over the world building on the third revolution which Klaus Schweb the founder of World Economic Forum called ''Cyber-Physical System'' which is characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital and biological sphere" This time around Nigeria is found but as a country that is inventively and technologically dead, divided along ethnic and religions line and is in total economic and political hostage. My concern is do Nigeria and Nigerians know that we have enter into the fourth industrial revolution? which is multiplying technology breakthrough in the fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, the internet, biotechnology, nanotechnology, material science, energy storage and quantum computing etc If at all we are aware, where are we going to be left at the end of the day if we did not stop this sentiment, bias, maneuvering etc that have characterize us. I am worried. |
If I am to take this to represent the voice of Yoruba then I will advise they be wise. But I know is not but your personal opinion. faaz24: |
This press release exposed the monumental fraud going on in this administration. The question is who approved this loan? Is the minster that made the request that will still approve because the last time I checked NBC is an agency under the ministry of information. The second question is what is the repayment plan? Lai Mohamed should tell us how, where and when he intends to repay the money rather than the stories about the benefit of the conference. At least financial prudence they said is the watchword of this administration. This will lead us to the third question, Is this load repayment capture in the 2016 budget, if not the money will vanish after Lai Mohamed spends it in China. The fourth question is what happens to TSA? If TSA is working as we are made to believe where is NBC getting the money to loan the Ministry if not from a separate account. There are more things Nigerians need to know about this government especially as it concerns saying the truth and deceiving the citizens. LET NIGERIANS BE WISE. |
The least person I expect to make such comment is the APC leader Bola Tinubu but what do you expect when most of our leaders are products of selfishness rather than selflessness. Tinubu in 2012 spent a lot of time and resource sponsoring protest against subsidy removal by Jonathan administration only to support it now because it is his party. What our selfish leader fail to know is that "what goes around always come around" In 2012, many of us know that subsidy removal is one of the ways to sanitize the oil sector but some ambitious politicians refuse thereby deceiving the masses. One imagines where Nigeria will be by now if that policy was allowed to stay no matter how shabby its commencement was. One important question to ask is what has changed to make Tinubu to support subsidy removal now. Whatever is the reason for the subsidy removal now is not well timed, ill advised and adequate awareness not created. At least during Jonathan administration, there were town hall meetings shown live in many television stations. Even the recent town hall meetings by Buhari's ministers did not mention anything about subsidy removal. We only wake up to hear that fuel is N145. A decision no matter how well conceived neglected the people. I am not writing to ask for strike as it was done during Jonathan's era because I know the labour Unions and civil societies know is the right thing to do. All I saying is it is time for Nigerians to be wise and never to be fooled again. Finally, let Tinubu puts his comment to popularity test by spending time and resource again to mobilize supporters at his usually square again lets see what will happen. Let Nigerians be wise. |
Because you have not start it. |
Is too early to say. Though, he is not impressing me for now. |
The only thing Lie Mohamed knows how to do best is "lies" saying something today and denying it tomorrow. |
Chai!, I can see the pains in you as you write this post. But try to free yourself because the trend of south east leading in manufacturing in Nigeria is unstoppable. Innoson is just the opening page. Hope you followed the trend in Made-in-Aba trade fair. More are still coming. joborskill: |
Though is too early to ask this type of question but if am to judge base on the performance so far, I'll say capital "NO" |
He should be president for Nigerians |
This is still the beginning. When you have a certificateless president. The president who thinks that governance is all about fighting corruption but lacks the foresight to institutional tackle it. |
If this statement is true, I'll only say this is one reason why northern youths will continue to be slave to their leaders. Shame on this youth organisation. "SHOE SHINERS'' |
The pace at which the government of president Buhari moves necessitate this question. Also considering his independence day speech where he said "impatience is not a virtue. Order is more vital than speed. Careful and deliberate decision after consultations get far better result" With the above and considering that no ministers yet by this time of the year, how long more will it take him to present the national budget and how will it affect the economy? |
Based on recent uproar that followed president Buhari's appointment so far which has more northerners, one will like to know the stand of his party which claim that the party decision is supreme and binding to all her elected leaders. During the national assemble election especially during appointment of principal officers, the party insisted that their decision and choice is supreme. Nigerians expect the party to publicly tell them if Buhari's pattern of appointment is in line with the party's decision as it was the case in the national assemble appointment. |
First, in a. democratic government, you hold the leaders accountable on their words, promises and actions. From the president's actions after making this statement on May 29th, Nigerians will see that either he doesn't keep to his words or he doesn't know the meaning. Today, he is showing us that he belong to the north alone considering the lopsidedness of his appointment so far. If this kind of action continues during the ministerial appointment, I'm afraid that many region will start different types of agitation that will not only divided the country further but also bring it backward. The president as a matter of urgency should be a man of his words by belonging to everybody and not to the north. |
Women affairs and Youth development scrapped. Hmm.. |
Until Oshom-ole tells us what he wants from her. Ngozi wins |

Base on the various results be posted online which are mostly not authenticated INEC has warned the public to beware of such results as the commission has not release any result. |
APC is crying because they know they will loose. |
Sometimes, I wonder how some people reason. Op do you expect Mr President to publicly acknowledge a candidate from another party. It seems your a learner. One thing that is clear is that Otti is man to beat. He is the next governor. |
We should seriously watch this Amaechi's drama but I don't think it will have part two after tomorrow. |
How did Buhari intend to achieve this? Am just asking. |
cheap lie |
T.A is a total disgrace to humanity. The worst governor I've ever seen. Come to Aba you will weep for us. All I know is that God will reward everybody according to his/her work. |
Nawa for u. U didn't say anything concerning the press release by the synod secretariat as concerns the relatio. The church cannot be influence by gay propaganda but the right thing must be done. I'll advise u follow the synod very well rather than passing half information here. |
I wonder what EFCC and ICPC is still doing. This is purely an open way of stealing using political propaganda to justify it. |
still not working. |
Google why naaaaa? |
I think the op through this question wants to know the leadership quality of Buhari as a civilian rather than as a military leader we knew him before. Because its always say that those who can manage a big business empire provides good leadership. |
