Osinbajo will be a disaster as president because many of us don't see him having the kind of resolve and guts to confront security challenges like ipob, boko haram and bandits with the kind of guts needed in a Nigerian president. Being a pastor makes it even worse.

Let's face the truth, Nigeria needs a leader that can confront security threats as well as economic challenges. Terrorists like ipob especially would run rings round Osinbajo because he'll be afraid to offend igbos. Atiku Abubakar or even a Tinubu would make better presidents because they've fought many political battles and survived, and they have the political connections to get things done across regions.

The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Hamisu Chidari, said the APC in Kano State would support the 2023 presidential ambition of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in 2023.

He spoke at the inauguration of the Tinubu Support Group and the state steering committees of the TSG in Abuja on Saturday.

Chidari said Kano State, which has the highest number of voters and delegates in the country, would repay Tinubu’s act of helping the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to become President in 2015.

“My purpose is to kick-start the journey that will take us to the Villa by God’s grace with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the number one citizen of Nigeria,” he said.

The lawmaker added, “In Kano, being the state with the highest number of delegates, we have already decided and already concluded; we are set to give him at least 98 per cent of delegates in the primaries. Not only that, we are set as usual to give him the highest number of votes so that come May 29, 2023, we will be at the Eagle Square to swear him in as the President.

“All of us in the North-West are aware of the role he played in taking our son, President Muhammadu Buhari, to the Villa. So, we are going to reward him; we are going to pay him back. So, I have assured him of victory. Almost all the delegates from the North-West states are going to vote for him in the next primary elections.”

All the northern regions and mid belt region have 7 states, south west and south south have 6 states in it. Why is it only south east region that has only 5 states accrue to it?

The states were not created according to the current fraudulent Regions. So, we cannot whole heartedly refer to the current fraudulent six regions with the old North having 3 Regions. As a matter of fact, if we consider the original Regions that we had when we practiced Regional Government, then we will consider only North, South-East and South-West.

Unfortunately, the old Northern Region now has 19 states, the old Western Region now has 8 states (Edo and Delta inclusive) while the old Eastern Region now has 9 states. That's really unfortunate. The Almajaris are really pointing pepper stained fingers into our eyes,

Chairman Northeast Publishers Forum, Malam Hassan Gimba, has argued that the northeast region has all the required qualities to produce the nation’s next president in 2023.

This, he made known at the 2021 Northeast Star Magazine awards, which took place in Yola, Adamawa State on Friday.

Urging the region to tread extra legitimate miles in mobilizing and sensitizing people on the fact that it is now its turn to produce the next president, if given the chance, the much desired growth, he believed, would be attracted to all parts of the country.

Enumerating the rich resources that abound in the nooks and crannies of the region, exploration of the Mambila Plateau, he said will reveal one of the most natural resources endowed areas of the world.
