chiomarita: Endowed Nollywood actress, Inem Peter is all ready and prepared to walk down the aisle with the man of her dreams, but he is yet to make the move towards that direction.
The talented movie diva cum producer, tells Pearlsnews.com how her heart yearns for marriage.
“My heart is saying yes to Wedding Bells but my hand is typing I don’t know yet. It’s not my making but if it comes now, I am very ready. My expectations for 2019 is a bit high so I wouldn’t want to share with the public. By the Grace of God 2019 will be my best year ever,” she gushed.
Lamenting on what her celebrity status has deprived her, Ms Peters said: “It has taken part of the real person I am. People always react to my curves and it gets to me. Sometimes, it’s embarrassing when peeps think my small bumbum is too big. I walk pass and everyone turns (male and female) to stare at my behind. Adding to that, I have heard people describe like “Ah ah you don’t know Inem Peter? That Actress wey get biiiiiigggg bumbum. Com’on it is God gift. I didn’t create myself.” Reacting to the rate of celebrity marriage crash, which has become a norm, the actress says marriage is not a do or die affair.
“Having a take on issues like this is like judging who ever is involved. Who ever is wearing this shoe called marriage knows were it itches. So if a celebrity gets married, have a baby and leaves the marriage that means it’s not working and if a marriage is not working you let it go. Being a Celebrity doesn’t mean you must stay in a failed marriage,” she advised black women (especially naija women) are seriously useless! Romance › Re: 3 Fundamental Steps For Getting Married For Bachelors by apelike1: 6:36am On Feb 09, 2019 |
gisthabit: https://gisthabit.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/marriage.png
Your life changes into a new phase the moment you make the decision to get married. Married life comes with its own advantages and disadvantages.
I am not going to dwell on the pros and cons of marriage. But I need you to know that marriage requires a lot of sacrifices from both parties involved. And that the benefits are far higher than the disadvantages.
My concern in this article is to highlight 3 important and critical steps that are necessary when moving from bachelorhood to marriage life.
Trust me, there are a lot of steps involved in the process of getting married but I have put together in this article three fundamental steps that are crucial and necessary.
3 Fundamental Steps for Getting Married for Bachelors
#1. Move out of your parents’ house
This is a brutal fact that shouldn’t be polished. You should consider moving out of your parents’ or family house the very moment you decide to get married.
Starting your own family require that you should have some basic home appliances. Ranging from furniture, kitchen utensils and other basic items.
From experience, staying with your parents have a way of discouraging you from buying personal properties needed to start life.
The financial burden being placed on you by your family can be overbearing especially when you are staying with them. Sometimes they depend solely on you that they may not want to engage themselves in any money making venture simply because they know that you are always there to provide their needs.
Staying alone also help you to know your true financial capabilities. It helps you to know if you can be able to bring in someone into your life and at the same time pay the person’s bills.
#2. Prepare yourself
Never make the mistake of dabbling into marriage with any form of preparation. I am sure that you wouldn’t want to call it a quit after a few months of getting married.
Getting married requires some level of preparations. It could be emotionally, spiritually and even financially.
Read books or consult marriage counsellors to help guide you make the right decisions ahead of marriage.
I recommend you read this book: Things I wish I’d Known Before We Got Married by Gary Chapman.
#3. Start a relationship
Gone are those days when out of nowhere our parents will just spring up with a woman for us to marry. Nowadays, we make our choices and we live with it whether good or bad.
Being in a relationship gives you the opportunity to get to know the person before making the decision to settle down with the woman or not.
I know that we have to work hard to make ourselves financially capable to handle marriage expenditures. But we shouldn’t get so busy to the extent that there wouldn’t be time to get to meet and know the right life partner.
The long and short is that having a relationship avails you the window to evaluate your compatibility with your future partner if carefully utilized.
Lastly, never go into a relationship with a woman with the hope of marrying her. Instead, start off with an open mind.
Having an open mind will help you to see both the good and bad side of her and guide you into making an unbiased decision.

Orunsolu02: I Will Publicly Publish My Salary And Allowances As A Legislator- Banky W Vows https://plugblog.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/banky-w.jpg
Olubankole Wellington, the candidate of the Modern Democratic Party (MDP), contesting for the Eti-Osa House of Representatives seat, has vowed to publish his earnings as a legislator if elected.
Wellington, popularly called Banky W, made the announcement while speaking during a debate against four other candidates in Lagos on Monday, February 4, 2019.
The legislative candidate said accountability is one of the biggest problems in governance and hopes to lead from the front to change the situation.
He vowed to publish his salary and allowances as a legislator and be transparent in the spending of constituency allocations by consulting regularly with the people.
He said, “Most of us don’t know who our representatives are, talk less of their salary and allowances and constituency allocations that they receive every year most of the time to enrich themselves.
“How I plan to address it myself directly is first of all, I’ll publish what I earn as a legislator – my salary, my allowance, the allocation given to Eti-Osa, I will publish it.
“We will have town halls and an active constituency office to engage the community to say this is the allocation that we’ve received, this is what we intend to spend it on.”
The candidate slammed legislators who are only in the National Assembly to enrich themselves and vowed to be more accountable to lead a new era of accountability in governance in the country.
