Catholics worship a certain Mary not the Mary of the bible of course because if she were here she will rebuke them totally.

When i was a catholic, a priest tried explaining that passage to mean some kind of special blessing accrued to Mary. And He said something like "blessed are those who hear the word and keep it LIKE MARY"
I almost believed Him but i knew something was wrong with his interpretation. Jesus didn't say LIKE MARY. Where did he get that from? i thought! And how Jesus swiftly responded to the woman's words, bothered me,but all these things did not deter me from continuing with catholicism until God opened my eyes and pulled me out...I prolly would have still been a catholic.

when God open ur eyes ke, just tell us why u left catholic not that God open ur eye. were ur eyes close wen u were in catholic.

The Abia State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Umuahia, Abia State, has fixed July 10 and 13 for the pre-hearing of the petition filed by the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Dr. Alex Otti, against the victory of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. In the petition, Otti seeks the nullification of Ikpeazu’s election. He urged the tribunal to declare him the winner of the governorship election. Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Usman Bwala, who adjourned sitting on Thursday, ordered all court processes to be served before the next date of sitting. He gave all the parties up till Thursday next week to file all their motions, warning that no other motions would be acceptable after the next sitting. Counsel for Otti, Chief Awa Kalu (SAN), had during the sitting, withdrawn a petition he had earlier filed which sought an order of the tribunal to enable Otti inspect all the materials used in the election. He lamented that the Independent National Electoral Commission was making the inspection of the materials too cumbersome for Otti. Counsel for Ikpeazu, Chief Chibuike Nwokeukwu, said that he had filed a motion urging the tribunal to strike out Otti’s petition “for incompetence’’. He said Otti’s claims that he was being denied access to electoral materials were aimed at whipping up unnecessary sentiments.

The Director of Communications in the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Haruna Imrana, announced the appointment of Mr. Lawal Musa Daura as the Acting DG of the DSS. Here are seven things to know about the new DG: 1. Daura was born on
August 5, 1953 in Daura,
Katsina state. 2. He attended Ahmadu
Bello University between
1977 and 1980. 3. He started his career in
the State Security Service
and then rose to become
a director in the service. 4. He served as the State
Director of Security
service in Kano, Sokoto,
Edo, Osun, Imo and
Lagos States before his
retirement. 5. He was also a one time
Deputy Director,
Presidential
Communication
Command and Control
Centre at the Presidential Villa Abuja
between 2003 and 2007. 6. He attended various
professional courses
including the National
Institute for Policy and
Strategic Studies, Kuru. 7. President Buhari recalled
him from retirement on
July 2, 2015 to be the
Director General of the
State Security Service,
replacing Ita Ekpeyong who occupied the
position between
September 7, 2010 and
July 2, 2015.
