I tried explaining to her that am not in labour, just that my tummy feels hard and my legs still swollen...but her conclusion was PREMATURE LABOUR!...Anyways, I turned to the one who gave her to me, the one who will never make my TESTIMONIES incomplete, the one whose words will never go unfulfilled... HE says I WILL NEVER CAST MY YOUNG!!.

Hubby and I became comfused, my ticket was originally for today, but he never wanted me to go again...so I told him "Even if lo is going to come prematurely, not here...(we lost his friends son on the naming day due to premature delivery...as a result of DOCTOR'S ASSUMPTIONS). Hubby's thoughts were just to save His wife and child...we were really confused!!

We later changed my travel date to the following day!!....my bag wasn't searched and my food stuff including Yam and Palm oil escaped, to the glory of God, I traveled on Lufthansa, ABV-Frankfurt-Dallas!...with NO ITCH AT ALL!. Except for my usual swollen legs which gets me a little uncomfortable on the second leg, and Lufthansa crew were the best....I was upgraded from Premium Economy to BUSSINESS CABIN , gave me like 4pillows to raise my legs, 2 to support my back and yours truely Slept like a baby on board...and my legs went down...

I arrived Frankfurt, had to wait almost 2hrs for wheelchair, was not impressed there sha. Fast forward to Dallas, wheelchairs already waiting in a looking queue, was wheeled to a CBP...

Scanned my fingers and took me to secondary inspection... The officer called my name and asked where am going to stay as its dangerous to stay alone at this period, told him an hotelhotel (which we booked overnight), couldn't even print out, but had my phone ready to show them in my mail, and for the baby's arrival I have been talking to a midwife who is getting me a Nanny and I have our conversations here(gave him my email correspondence with a midwife in Rockwell, Dallas.
He then went Inside for like 7minutes, was seriously praying in tongues, because my words were Incoherent, cos I was really confused.

1-I was supposed to go to Houston, have docs appointment, and prolly enough cash to show, but found myself with hotel booking in Dallas, could only produce a midwife's correspondence, and with just 3400$ which is all we could get from BDC on my departure day....in a nutshell, God was really waiting for me here.
Later to Agriculture cos I declared just my dry foods, but they ceased my Yam...my yam wey don enter America already but my palm oil escaped.

Note:...am yet to see a doctor, LO is kicking fabulously well, i am doing great, but jetlagged I've not even rested well since I came cos I need to shop for me and Lo, trying to rest though.
So much appreciate this forum...in a way, you gave me the gutt to do this... waiting patiently for lo's arrival...if she likes let her come tomorrow sef...

After I complained what my feelings was to the doc, (as a FTM), I expected her to @least go some miles to DELAY PREMATURE LABOUR! and not to say that "BE PREPARED, IF LABOUR DOESN'T COMMENCE AS EXPECTED, WE MIGHT NEED TO SECTION YOU AND BRING OUT THE BABY and".....some funny assumptions of baby's chance of survival and all at 35weeks!!.....WHO WILL WAIT TO HEAR MORE OR SEE THE MANIFESTATION OF THOSE EVIL WORDS AFTER 2YEARS OF CHILDLESSNESS? Even if its 2months, pls ask the TTC mamas. You can check my posts on TTC thread before porting here...mamas, and papas, Koju maribi...gbogbo ARA loogun e O(to my Yoruba peeps).

I took a risk I know, but as a graduate and a CERTIFIED NURSE-MIDWIFE AS WELL...I should be able to at least use my brain, even if am not a Doctor. And this is why I always advice ppl to PLEASE SEEK SECOND OPINION!!! Doctors are also human not God.!! And I REFUSE to believe the report of the Devil over my life, my Lo and Home!...

@all, thanks for this advice. My options are

1- Will just book my hotel in Houston, call doctor to schedule appointment, and then declare Houston as my final destination. but then I can tell them I'll be staying to do some shopping in Dallas before my appointments.
2. Get a scanned correspondence from Dallas and present it at the POE and pray they won't raise an eyebrow.
CUZ.....

I went for ante-natal this morning to complain about the mucoid discharge stuff and hardened stomach (but no PAIN, and the thick mucoid stuff is not stained AT ALL!!) So the Doctor checked me and said am 2cm dilated in a nutshell, that my enemy is having preterm labour.!! hence, sent me to the labour ward for admission straight.
Getting to the labour ward, I rejected the admission and left. Hubby and I entered commission don't just know what to do.
Now since that VE, I've been having some funny stomach ache, and going to toilet like every 10minutes.

Pls mamas, what is my faith?? I know say na the Devil for my village dey work, but I've sent the host of heaven to stop every contractions and premature labour. My ticket is scheduled for next Tuesday, hubby wants to reschedule it to this Friday. But I hope I'll be safe in the flight...pls help O.

On another note, Hubby's visa was approved today, but not in a good mood to type Visa Interview now. PLEASE I NEED HELP O.

Hello house...actually shame is catching me for asking this questions AGAIN. Yes I've asked b fore but the answers confused me.
Pls!Pls!&Pls!!! Travelling next week, said I was going to HOUSTON during interview with proof of Doctors correspondence and hotel booking. Now want to PORT to DALLAS, but as we all know, doctors don't give correspondence nor prior appointment in Dallas till arrival. Now my questions...
1- Where would I declare as my final destination in my Landing card?
2- If asked why am porting to Dallas, how would I answer the CBP without correspondence/appointment??
3- If I just decided to get an appointment with any doctor in Houston, how will I explain my DFW as the final destination....I'VE BEEN SO CONFUSED, AND TICKET IS ALREADY BOOKED. PLEASE HOW WILL I HANDLE THIS Ur candid opinion is HIGHLY NEEDED MAs &SIRs

Morning mamas, congrats to all the new Mamas and los. Pls I need help o. I urinated yesterday night and wiped with tissue, only to see a thick mucoid discharge, but colorless. This happened for about 3-4 times. I even inserted a white towel in my pp, but no discharge. The discharge is colourless and odourless. Hobby and I have been so scared since then, and Lo sef has not been kicking well. All I feel is heaviness on my pelvic bone and pp. Pls am just 35 weeks, should I be scared?

My Leg is swollen, tight and painful!! Doc said its ok since my BP is normal (110/70) and no trace of Protein in my urine. My ankle is now "Orobo". I usually raise it up but its not just working. I applied cold compress and sheabutter it'll relieve and still come up again!! .

Also couldn't sleep well overnight cos of constant urination. Can't stand for long cos of Lo's head on bladder. So my exercise now is a gentle one! . what do I do nowwwww!! Senior mamas, pls help my ministry abeg .

@All, was at Lufthansa office yesterday and asked repeated questions about their pregnancy policy. The lady (feeling and looking tired sef) said their policy is to fly pregnant women even till their 36th week. So asked why preggy mamas are being embarrassed (@firsttymum), she siad it depends on thier "instinct". That if they suspect the Mama might be untruthful about their week(as in bigger Tommy) or might be carrying multiple and declared single and they suspect, then they'll send the person back or ask to see their own doctors report (Julius begger Hosp or so). Also, if the individual is looking sick or swollen feet even before boarding, they won't want to take chance.

So I think they use their "instinct" rather than policy. So she said in case am not convinced, I can go with my Doctor's report, still fill their own medical form and print also get fit to fly from port health. If they ask for any, I can always have them handy. Also adviced I have photocopy of all.
