Like it or not, with this US move, Elensky's reign as president over Ukraine is over. How I envy Georgia right now. |

stanluiz: When Hitler invaded Poland in 1939, was he provoked ?
Let's watch to know whether putin will invade another country now that Trump want to finally withdraw all US troops from Europe especially those in central and eastern Europe.
With American troops out, these countries will vulnerable to Russia rentless attacks which may include a military invasion. Are you seriously comparing Putin to Hitler?
Hitler invaded Poland on the basics of his diabolic and self-serving dream of 'Lebesraum' (to create living space for thr German people) and to make German the dominant race in Europe.
Putin eventually invaded Ukraine after years of NATO provocations and Eastward expansion, Ukraine being the last redline the Russians can tolerate.
There was no basics for comparison.
Hitler was a maniac hell bent on dominating the whole of Europe. Putin is only a realist saddled with the legitimate responsibility of defending Russia and his people from the encroaching jaws of a sworn enemy who has not hidden its hatred for the Russian society. |

Russia’s industrial production grew by 4.6% last year alone, proving that the departure of foreign companies had the opposite effect—they suffered losses, not Russia, says State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.
“Short-sighted decisions to leave Russia backfired. Our industry has successfully adapted and is now thriving. Those who abandoned the market for political reasons will find it very difficult to return,” Volodin stated.
Russia moves forward without them. Facts. |

We were told that some train was moving, running, and if we didn't get on it, our time would never come. Today, I think we all see clearly how disadvantageous it could have been for Georgia to be on the same train as the current Ukrainian government.
Soon, others will also start jumping off the train heading for the abyss. Georgia is so lucky it didn't go the Ukraine way. |

StudyBarn: It is impossible to earn a profitable living with whatever congealed wastewater you have moving around in your ugly, misshapen skull.
I thought you were just a regular bottom-feeding nonentity spouting supercharged crap but my God every statement out of your mouth is immediately followed by an even dumber one. You are testing the depths of idiocy.
A 6 term U.S congressman that's still serving (He was my local congressman for 18 months), he is also a retired General in the Army .
He aired serious accusations not against a foreign government but his own, he is a veteran that knows the weight of this accusations and it's propaganda value for America's adversaries but he did.
As a retired General he is still subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice , he can be court-martialled while I'm not saying he is 100% right but African leaders would do well to follow up on it.
But then there's you a barely-schooled, poverty riddled , meme-coin slinging charlatan who is shouting loudly it's all false. Your own parents took one look at you and decided your looks would be improved with appropriate scarification like an old Buhari campaign poster.
Remedy your ignorance, get a life and stop fouling the thread with your vapid, stream of consciousness nonsense. It does no credit to you and whatever spawned you
Trust an idiot who's never ventured outside whatever pigsty was fouled up by his conception to confuse a congressman with "a random senator". What a tool! I swear I don't even bother to read their posts most of the times. Their level of reasoning is beyond appalling. A seating US senator and a retired top army officer leveled a serious allegation against his own country, outing the misdeed they have perpetuated for years against your country, something many of us already knew, and all you could say is, it's not worth talking about. And one even said, if it at all it happened, it must have been unintentional. I have never seen such level of pathetic reasoning all my life. |

Crayfish09: Lol. Dismissing allegations of terrorism against your country as a beef between two political parties is the ultimate sign of idiocy and zero self-esteem. It's understandable for democrats to say "oh, these are just republican lies," but you as a Nigerian have to be extremely useless to treat such an allegation that way to the point of even suggesting that even if it's true, then it must have been unintentional. You soulless degenerates have your ugly faces buried s deeply in Americans rectum that you are willing to defend them for killing your countrymen.
Now I truly believe some Africans did fight fellow Africans during the struggle for independence. You're talking to a brick wall. Save your sanity the stress. |

Trump: “Well, he's gonna have to do what he has to do, but, you know, his poll numbers aren't particularly great, to put it mildly.”
“He's got a country where, you know, it's been savaged and attacked, and, he's got an army that's been very, very brave, actually, despite the fact that, you know, we've given him, in my opinion, $350,000,000,000. That's what the real number is. You don't hear that number. And Europe has given, in my opinion, a hundred billion dollars, and they've done it in the form of a loan.
And I have a secretary of treasury right now who's actually quite brave. He's over in Ukraine on a train, and there's a lot of things happening around that train that aren't so good.
And he's going there to get a document done where we're gonna be in assured that we're gonna, in some form, get this money back because we're putting up far more money than Europe, and Europe is in far more danger than we are.
We have an ocean in between. Europe has nothing in between. You know what they have in between? They have Ukraine in between.
So as you know, Europe is putting up money and they're getting it in the form of a loan. And The United States under Biden didn't do loans. They just handed money every time somebody walked in from Ukraine. They just handed them money, foolishly. This should have never happened.
It should have never started. And once it did, other things should have happened. Other things should have taken place. Like that's So, we're we're getting, security on our money. We're gonna have it secured by they have, Rare Earths, and they have, oil and gas, and they have a lot of other things.
And we're asking for security for our money.” His poll numbers ... Lmao. Trump is a fuvcking gangster realist. |

Masterviolence: They should take Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk and negotiate an end to this conflict.
A landlocked Ukraine would hold significant strategic value for Russia in the long run. If, after the war, reconciliation is achieved and Ukraine seeks access to the sea, Russia could grant it on a lease basis as an act of goodwill.
Moreover, Ukraine must be fully disarmed once this war ends.
I agree with you in in toto. A landlocked Ukraine would render it economically unviable for US/NATO, but would remain strategically valuable for them in terms of military installations. So, the Russian endgame is to ensure that not only is Ukraine effectively disarmed, but rendered impotent as such that no external military deployment would be allowed on its soil. Taking Odessa would be a strategic step in achieving that objective because, without a naval port for greater access to the sea, the US/NATO quest to build a warm water port to curtail or checkmate the Russian fleet in the black sea would amount to a waste of time and resources. |
