Exactly what I was saying, this is just a pr stunt, you don't risk men and materials just to score some cheap point that has no bearing on the trajectory of the war.

If Ukraine had down those planes during active combat or hit forward operating base use to house the planes for combat it would have made history, this nothing short of terrorism.
Exactly.

I've already lost count of how many times Putin has been played with fake negotiations while he gets a big slap in the face.

A part of his NUCLEAR capabilities have been blown up. There is no greater escalation than this.

Firing Oreshnik point blank at Ukraine just for show will only further expose his already deeply felt weakness.

Such attacks from inside Russia will now become everyday life. Ukraine and NATO are waging an all-in war against Russia.

They are blowing up civilian buildings, trains, generals, mayors, and now even nuclear assets on Russian territory. Putin is still playing some kind of "special military operation" by claiming that the Ukrainians were his brothers.

On the other hand, he refused to arm the Houthis, the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and Syria to the teeth, and he ended up losing Syria and the entire Middle East.

Israel bombed Syria for years while Putin cultivated "friendship" with Israel and Turkey and refused to provide Assad with advanced weapons.

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar also felt his weakness and urgently signed massive agreements with the US and began distancing themselves from the BRICS.

Zelensky and his team have proven from their comfortably warm offices in Kiev that they want the war to continue as long as they are funded and armed.

Putin is currently waging "special military operation" with "stones" while his serious weapons are slumbering in warehouses that are being blown up one by one.

His alleged "friends" are massively selling weapons to Ukraine, including China, which until recently massively sold drones to Ukriane, similar to those that wiped out his bombers today.

Empty treats are no longer something Putin and his friends can afford.

Summed perfectly
So much emotional outburst from a lot of Russian supporters here.

Each time Ukraine scores a hit, it is followed by curses on Putin and his alleged 'soft' approach towards Ukraine, and all that.

The reality is, this is war, and you don't expect Ukraine not to score some goals. I dare say this is good in that each goal Ukros scores gives Russia the opportunity to fix and develop counter and preventive measures.

Besides, the Ukrainian strike is like a scratch on Russia's aviator capability. Aside denting Russia's power image, it doesn't change anything on the battlefield. Rater, it exposes a glaring and noticeable weaknesses on the side of the NATO planners aiding Ukraine in that all standoff platforms and long distant capabilities, including the enemy's much vaunted ISR had failed miserably to significantly harm Russia that has, at every junction, developed effective counter measures against them. So. They have resorted to terrorist patterns, the best part of which took almost two years to plan and execute.

And it was well planned and executed perfectly. Give kudos to the Ukros.

Is the attack sufficient to trigger 18/19 of the Russian Nuclear Doctrine?

Yes, it does. But. I doubt if the Russians would resort to that because it's more like the last kick of a dying horse. However, it's enough to scuttle and effectively kill any peace talk or concessions from the side of the Russians, and enough to trigger deeper and overt strikes across entire Ukrainian chain of command, including the presidency.

Bravo zelensky. What a way to kill any hope for peace, invite more loss of territory and attract more death and devastation across Ukraine. Thanks to an attack that has zero effects on Russia's Frontline capabilities. It was a nice PR stunt that changes nothing on the Front Lines.

Look at this crap, anyone with 2 working brain cells will see this grandiloquent aphasic rube for what he truly is. This entire hogwash is so unsophisticated and laughable, it beggars belief a self-claimed smart person wrote it. Where does one start with this nonsense?

1. The Strategic environment today could not be any different from the last days of the cold war and it's aftermath, the days of uncontested US power is long gone. There are peer and near peer contestants including some openly revanchist ones.

2. It is an actual policy of the US and NATO to weaken Russia, that wasn't an original idea of yours

3. Ukraine was armed to the gills, they have received $320 billion worth of military aid from the Ukraine Defense Contact Group and another $108 billion in "humanitarian aid" besides spending 26% of GDP on the military. Ukraine has received weapons valued twice it's nominal GDP in 3 years.

4. Russia has been subject to 17 rounds of sanctions, infact it is the most sanctioned nation on earth

5. China accounts for 31.6% of global manufacturing and yes they were slammed with tariffs, for a so-called "US resident" , you could have educated yourself about the price rise and biting inflation that was sure to accompany it.

6. Iran was actually kept busy, lost Syria, it's proxies were decimated by Israel, weakened sure but not out, a new railroad from Xian(China) to Aprin (Iran) just completed it's first cargo delivery. Sanction proof bypassing the Suez, Hormuz all the strategic choke points.

7. An 8 month plan to bomb the Houthis and let the Yemeni government assault their positions was abandoned after a month when the US could not establish air superiority, an F-35 the crown jewel of the US Air force was forced to perform an evasive maneuver,7 reaper drones, 2 F-16's lost. The operation cost $1 billion yet barely made a dent on the Houthis who moved their weapons under mountains in the unforgiving mountainous terrain of Yemen. The US had to sue for peace without Israel

8. Lol the CIA is already working overtime in Ukraine, ATACMS can not be operated absent targeting data provided by US intelligence, you speak like Russia has no counterintelligence especially on its own turf, let them start active hostile measures and sabotage if it goes uncontested

Everything you spilled is not only infantile, some of it calls for NATO to become an active combatant in a hot war with a nuclear power,

I know you might not value your life and a nuclear winter might be a significant upgrade to your circumstances but Dude!!! undecided

Succinctly put. cool cool

So NATO have completely degenerated into shameless rookie pirates. grin

It turns out that the idiots per Estonia yet again and Finland tried to seize a Russian cargo ship bound for Gabon. The Russian civilian ship radioed the Russian military for help. They sent in an Su-35 that was armed to the teeth. The plane entered Estonia airspace ignoring all calls to back off. It then turned off its transponders.

On sighting the Russian plane, the Finnish plane and helicopters that were trying to force the Russian civilian ship to change course and be in custody of Estonia naval ships, fled the scene. The Naval ships from the micro nation Estonia also turn around and fled the area. They must have heard the Beep-beep-beep on their systems as the Su-35 locked on the damn ships. grin Then they went on tv and start wailing about how Russia has violated their airspace bla bla bla.

The caveat is that in 4 years, the interventionists, nation builders, and nonprofits will return.

Still, it's a pleasant change of pace in American foreign policy. Even if transient.

I couldn't have agreed less. In fact. I don't think AIPAC and the Mossad criminal gang are going to just let this new and sudden shift go without a fight. I won't be surprised if there is some sort of massive false flag operation in a bid to rein in the Trump team. Netanyahoo is increasingly becoming desperate.

While the next few months and years look bleak, this shift, when taken on the surface, mark a radical geopolitical shift, especially, when you consider that folks like Rubio used to be part of the neocons.

Well, the bottom line is that, Trump would still support Israel, but no more unconditional support.

It's rumored that Mike Waltz was removed from his previous post due to this very reason. He was liaison too much with Netanyahoo in ways that contrast with Trump's peace plans.

Estonian navy attempted to seize a Russian tanker today named JAGUAR which is heading towards Russia territory and told them to change way, the ship refused then the navy tried to board but the crews refused, few minutes later the Russia deployed an SU-35 fighter jet to protect the tanker which flew several runs around the Estonian military vessel violating its airspace.

Estonians have gotten the message: mess with Russian ships, you will regret it and NATO will not help you either.

UPDATE: The oil tanker JAGUAR departed the Russian Hogland island following a failed detention attempt by Estonian authorities and is now moving toward Russia shipping lane in the Baltic Sea at 10 knots.
It's a game of try and see being played by some stupid NATO countries in the name of trying to stop Russian shadow ships moving oil for Russia and bypassing western sanctions.

Few weeks ago, a German and Danish naval ships attempted to hijack a foreign ship suspected of carrying Russian oil. Well, the Russians sent in a Corvette which fired warning shots at the NATO ships and locked on to the German ship. The bullies got the message and they ran away from the showdown, allowing the Russian oil-carrying ship to sail on its usual course. cool

If care is not taking, one of these days, one of those local government cum countries in NATO would push more than they can swallow and give Russia a legitimate reason to sink their entire naval force, and if they're hoping the US would come to their aid, well. I have a sea to sell them. It's then they will realize that article 5 of NATO only exist on paper when a giant like Russia is involved.

That is the current narrative.
American and Israeli media are signaling a Netanyahu-Trump schism.

To put this in perspective, Israeli media reported that one of Waltz (the former NSA) infractions that contributed to his firing was his close coordination with Satanyahu on Iran strike options at a time when Trump was still mulling a diplomatic resolution.
https://www.timesofisrael.com/waltzs-coordination-with-netanyahu-on-iran-strike-contributed-to-firing-report/

-Lord
Brother, have you read an excerpt of the speech Trump gave at the meeting with Satan Arabia? I don't know if I'm dreaming or not. It's quite revealing. For the first time, the US foreign policy read anti-interventionism and openly admitted that unipolarism as spearheaded by America since the end of the cold war was wrong. Then it goes on to canvass for a new multipolar world order, one in which no single nation would dictate to others how to run things. Unbelievable!!!

First, it was Rubio's astonishing words on the same issue:

....And I think that was lost at the end of the Cold War, because we were the only power in the world, and so we assumed this responsibility of sort of becoming the global government in many cases, trying to solve every problem. And there are terrible things happening in the world. There are. And then there are things that are terrible that impact our national interest directly, and we need to prioritize those again. So it’s not normal for the world to simply have a unipolar power. That was not – that was an anomaly. It was a product of the end of the Cold War, but eventually you were going to reach back to a point where you had a multipolar world, multi-great powers in different parts of the planet. We face that now with China and to some extent Russia, and then you have rogue states like Iran and North Korea you have to deal with.

Now Trump....Here is a part of the speech:

Before our eyes, a new generation of leaders is transcending the ancient conflicts of tired divisions of the past and forging a future where the Middle East is defined by commerce, not chaos, where it exports technology, not terrorism, and where people of different nations, religions, and creeds are building cities together, not bombing each other out of existence. We don’t want that.
(Applause)

And it’s crucial for the wider world to note this great transformation has not come from Western interventionists or flying people in beautiful planes giving you lectures on how to live and how to govern your own affairs. No, the gleaming marvels of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi were not created by the so-called nation-builders, neocons, or liberal nonprofits like those who spent trillions and trillions of dollars failing to develop Kabul, Baghdad, so many other cities. Instead, the birth of a modern Middle East has been brought by the people of the region themselves, the people that are right here, the people that have lived here all their lives, developing your own sovereign countries, pursuing your own unique visions, and charting your own destinies in your own way. It’s really incredible what you’ve done.

In the end, the so-called nation-builders wrecked far more nations than they built, and the interventionists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves. They told you how to do it, but they had no idea how to do it themselves. Peace, prosperity, and progress ultimately came not from a radical rejection of your heritage, but rather from embracing your national traditions and embracing that same heritage that you love so dearly.

(Applause)

And it’s something only you could do. You achieved a modern miracle the Arabian way. That’s a good way.

(Applause)

Going by this new US foreign policy shift, Netanyahoo should be having sleepless nights right now. No wonder he is talking about weaning Israel's security off America's support.

Interesting times ahead.

⚡IBRAHIM TRAORÉ:

[How do you explain the decline of French influence in the region—not just in the Sahel, but also across West Africa?]

"I think they themselves contributed to their own decline.

Because they still view our relationship through a paternalistic lens.

Whenever we take an initiative—someone immediately says it’s Russia’s influence.

Everything we do—'it’s Russia.'

Why are they so blind?

So—Africans are incapable of developing ideas on their own?

Of inventing, innovating, taking initiative?

That’s exactly what we are fighting against.

As long as they see Africans as subhumans, incapable of thought or innovation, there will never be genuine friendship.

Times have changed.

And they must change too.

It’s the very perception they still have of Black people.

They need to let go of that.

Because treating us this way means they still see Black people as subhuman.

And that’s dangerous.

They must change their language."

[But how does this attitude reveal itself?]

"Just listen to their speeches.

Even the French President constantly says African youth are being 'influenced by Russia.'

He says it openly.

And Western media? They spend all their time lying.

Today, the AES is emerging as a model—and they can’t stop talking about Burkina Faso and AES all day long.

Every time, they spread misinformation to divide and manipulate youth.

But it doesn’t work anymore.

I think people are waking up.

And you too are victims of these same people.

Look at what they say about Russia.

Even today, some young Africans still believe their lies about World War II.

I heard someone say that right after the war, if you asked Europeans who won, they said 'Russia.'

Today, if you ask, they say 'the West.'

Through propaganda, they’ve rewritten history.

And they’ve done the same to African history.

They’ve manipulated everything—turned lies into accepted fact.

And now, many young Africans don’t even know what Africa has done.

Some don’t know that our grandparents were sent to the frontlines as cannon fodder—then killed like animals when they came back.

Do people know that when France tested its first atomic bomb, it placed Black soldiers within the lethal blast radius—just to see the effect?

Let’s bring out the archives.

What they’ve done to Africa—it’s horrifying.

We need to communicate all this, so young Africans wake up.

Too many still serve the imperialist message.

They repeat what they’re told—maybe because they’re paid, I don’t know.

But Africans must understand their history and wake up.

That’s our fight too."
The western leaning trolls on this thread should digest this. Unfortunately, we know a leopard can never change it's skin.

It's pathetic when you read comments from some people here defending USAID that a sitting American lawmaker openly exposed as a tool used to sponsor terrorism in Sub-saharan Africa.

Mossad gang do not care about the outcome of the war.
Iraq and Afghanistan were success stories for Israel. Saddam is gone and Iraq/Afghanistan directly led to HTS toppling Assad.
Modest AD protection in Iraq and Syria are gone, giving the IAF unprecedented operational freedom.

The national interests of the US and Israel do not always align.
The only inconvenience for Israel wrt Iran is that they'll suffer direct consequences.
Still, that would not dissuade the war hawks. They've sacrificed lives and limbs shadowing insurgents in Gaza.
Dead Israelis is fair game if the objective of a hot war in Iran is achieved.

In academia, you'll find researchers and savants who spend decades of their lives researching a topic, chasing a breakthrough.
The same phenomenon exists in foreign policy circles.
War in Iran is a lifelong goal for folks like Satanyahu, Graham, most of the top echelon at Mossad, and co.
Graham was heavily in favor of pushing Ukraine to take on Russia in an unwinnable war.
They looked at Russia, its capabilities, a war right on its border, and said f*ck it.
What makes you think anything about the operational challenges of prosecuting a war in Iran is going to give them pause?

-Lord
Sadly, your assessment of the political thinking of the neocons and Israeli gangsters is true. Somehow, I feel really sorry for that region that is so rich but wired to be the center of geopolitical hostilities.

Whatever, I'm still hopeful that the warhawk plans for Iran would fail, at least, for the time being.

To conquer Iran, they needed land borders through which they can send in tanks and troops. That was the brain behind the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan -- preparing the ground for a future war with Iran.

Unfortunately for them, Afghanistan turns out to be a quagmire and the resistance in Iraq in recent times have proven to be a tough nut they cannot crack without suffering massive damages. It's getting worse for them as the new Iraqi government now wants the US out of the country ASAP.

These obstacles is forcing the Mossad gang to resort to terrorist tactics deep inside Iran. But how long would they continue with these charade knowing that, for each successful terror and sabotage attack, Iran would come up with more improved means of countering and containing the threat.

Now, there is Turkey to worry about, as Erdogan is bringing in more improved and long range AD systems into Syria in support of the HTS. It won't take long before the two enemies will definitely clash in Syria. That would further complicate things for the Mossad gang because the US hands would be tied in such a scenario due to its strategic ties with Turkey.

Nevertheless, like you tightly noted, we are talking about psychopaths who don't care what the outcome of their diabolic scheme would become. So, they'd keep pressing, escalating and hoping to get the attention they so much crave.

The more I think of it the more I cringe about what's ahead of the world.

Over the last ten days, Israel and Five Eyes Plus have been carrying out sabotage operations against Iranian industrial targets.

Their war planners want to take out a significant percentage of Iran's dual-use industrial capacity to limit its ability to replenish stocks when the shooting starts.

I'm at the point where I'd be pleased with a hot war.
It'll cleanse Iran's peacetime counterintelligence apparatus. It'll force Iran to acquire a nuke. It'll shatter the foundation of Israel's security.

The odds of a war is currently at <40%.
But as I said in the past, Mossad will do everything possible to trigger a War.
I hope they get their wish.

-Lord
The problem is, Trump won't let the neocon war ship sail, and if it has already, it won't find an easy spot to anchor. Unless, via a massive false flag operation.

Everything is possible with Mossad, like 9/11.

But I'm still betting on Trump to beat them to the game.

A massive war right now will see the US losing its economic primacy. There will be no coming back from it.

That said, they still need a land bridge for any meaningful attack on Iran to succeed. An amphibious adventure will end up in another waste of time and resources for the Yankees. Iran will easily repel and reply to such attacks with equal force and devastating pinpoint accuracy. Thanks to it's proving missile technology.

Unfortunately for the Yankees/Mossad gang, Iraq and Afghanistan, which are the only two land borders to launch such an operation are not ready for such exercise.

I hope it stays that way.

Well, North Korea was in Kursk. Unlike the West and Ukraine, Russia later owned up to their presence. See the result; complete destruction of Ukrainian forces in Kursk.
US and allies should just stick to playing hide and seek the way they are doing. Any attempt at full invasion of Iran will destroy the battered American society.

Ordinary Yemen they have lost 20 reaper drones costing millions each. An attempted Iranian invasion will cost times 1 thousand in money, reputation and lives. I am even hoping for it but I know Trump will not do it. He is a coward.
The American neocons and the Israeli lobby are trying so hard to goad Trump into attacking Iran, but the man is an economist and wouldn't make that mistake. It would be a catastrophe on many fronts.

Imagine categorizing massive bombing campaigns executed using B2 bombers, tomahawk missiles, and aircraft carriers as "limited". These bombers and ships are the most advanced and lethal platforms the US can use against a country. The US has nothing better than them. Absolutely nothing. And yet, he calls it "limited."
His major problem is that he loves to win argument and so do not agree to factual reality.

Imagine U.S had to be using B-2 spirit to bomb the Houthis cause it fears those guys air defence systems. Imagine how many drones those guys have downed. They attacked US aircraft carrier last week with anti ship missile. US is still furious with Iran over the Houthis. I bet it with my balls Trump is just bluffing he won't attack Iran. The consequences of that stupid action will be too much for the so called super power who is still finding it hard to defeat the Houthis. US is sucking itself into another quagmire in the Middle East gradually.

US does not even need to dialogue with Iran they should just start the bombing as usual. Why do you need to dialogue with Iran when you can bomb the country back to the stone age? Remember it is Trump that is calling for dialogue making bombing threats.
Don't mind them.

They think a country that has perfected the art of hypersonic missiles can be bombed to the stone age that easily.

US war planners have gamed th Iran war scenario several times, and the result always turns out to be bad for the attacking forces. The west would lose out big time in the economic front and damage their military presence in the region in such a way that would incite public anger and rebellion far worse than what they experienced during the outcome of the Vietnam war. Trump is all talk and show. He knew a war with Iran could likely end his presidency.
