seems you love fiction movies, explain to me how a swamp of drones would come so close to a Carrier group with out it been destroyed halfway, what are the early detection radars for? The AWACS aircraft what are they meant for, the satellite and the land based radar facilitate what are they meant for? there are different level of countermeasure a Carrier battle group uses and the first is "deterrence" destroying targets before they come within range of the strike group.

when Iran launch it wave of drones and ballistic missiles, how many got into Israeli airspace, 80 percent were intercepted in transit, same would happen, when a wave or swamps of drones is fired. The carrier and it's escorts powerful radars pick it the moment dose drones becomes airborne, there over combine force of over 50 plus jets and attack helos are scrambled to attack and intercept the targets, the destroyers ships surface to air missiles SAM'S like the TOMAHAWK long range cruise missiles are activated they track and start engaging those drones, they are also anti drone countermeasure like jamming the drone signal.

you carefully left the is part of early detection, according to your reasoning, a swamp of over 100 drones, would magically evade radar detection fly in mass for many miles and appear on the door step of a aircrafts carrier.
Early detection is one thing, how many drones you can engage simultaneously in a matter of minutes is another thing entirely. It's obvious you're new to this topic.

How many air defense missiles does surface ships carry in their arsenals? By the time they succeed in taking out most of the drones in the swarm, the ships might have run out of interception missiles. In a near peer scenario in the real world, facts have proven that there is no 100% success rate of intercepting a drone swarm from close proximity, especially with advanced drones both at sea and in the air. The Ukraine war should be your eye-opener. The damage the Shaheeds and Lancets have done to Ukraine is there for all to see, and we are talking about a battlefield with one of the most policed and contested air and sea space in modern warfare history. Talk about NATO's "All seeing eye" and OSINT, alongside Ukraine's capable air defenses, which offers a formidable multilayered air coverage for the Ukraine. Still, Mr Lancet and Sultan Shaheed always find their way to their targets.

Citing Iranian drone attack on Israel is a weak argument. A coalition of countries had to come together to help intercept those drones that were flying from 1200 km from their launch sites in Iran, giving Israel many hours of a heads-up ahead. In fact, it would have been a complete failure on Israel and the coalition part had they failed to take down the drones because, not only do they have the quantity of the right interception assets but many hours ahead to prepare. Moreover, the long distance and the single flight path they were flying gave the coalition a predictable and one-way flight path to map and take them out. But take the Hezbollah scenario for instance, many of their drones have caused and still causing havoc in Israel as we speak. Even the US you're talking about is now developing their own drone swarm capability, with the "protection" of Taiwan in mind. If it doesn't and won't work, why venture into it. It works and could cause serious damage to any country' surface ships no matter the strength of that country. Ukrainian drones both at sea and air based have recorded some success against Russia's sea based military and civilian assets, despite the Russian formidable defense and EW capabilities.

Take it or leave it, drone and AI driven missile capabilities are the Hallmark of current and future of modern conventional warfare.

in the last 10 years Russia has built just 4 nuclear submarine, and over 7 surface ships
I don't really get your logic

if Russia navy doctrine was all about deterrence like the NK navy then they should be building and having more subs, and stop having Surface ship been built.

even the USA with its massive aircraft Carrier fleets, has a more decent sub marine fleet than Russia.
Honestly. I sometimes wonder if you have a problem with comprehension. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude.

The discussion is on "Fleet Carriers," which is different from conventional surface ships. You have this knack of bouncing from one irrelevant topic to another, and going around in circles. Masterviolence was well aware of surface ships before replying to our earlier mentions on carriers So stick to that for Christ sake.

Like I said in my initial reply to you, carriers are great for power projection and reach, but they remain the fattest targets among all military assets. This is basic knowledge.

The US. Russia, and Chinese choice of carrier numbers depends on their respective foreign policy and geopolitical ideology. The US Navy is built around the principle of a superpower nation with global dominion as its objectives, hence the large number of fleets in its current arsenals to realize that objective. Russia (and to some extent, China,) on the other hand, focus on regional geopolitical realities, particularly within the periphery of the formal Soviet space as it's core sphere of interest. If you study China, it carrier groups are increasing as it's economic power grows and stretches rapidly across different continents. But, its main focus is still within asia. So it all depends on what is of paramount interest to their foreign policy.

That said, for the past ten years, the Russian navy has received 40 surface ships and 24 submarines, compared to the previous decade. So. Your point on that was wrong.

Watch him come up with a lengthy write-up filled with gibberish explanations.

In this era, the development of carriers has a lot of disadvantages than the advantages they provide.

Any serious country will know that the development of advance submarines and hypersonic missiles is the utmost priority, because this is the true game changer in an all out war
You can also fathom in drone technology. Imagine a swarm of drone targeted at a carrier strike group? Scores would definitely be recorded. The modern era will live in has changed due to the unprecedented leap in missile, drone, and AI technology. For example, sea-based drone boats are a menace to modern surface ships just as their air compatriots are difficult to intercept. It is only kids that still believe modern warfare is like what Rambo and Comando movies were where big ships and one man soldier can easily destroy a country.

So if nig for eg. joins with their corruption and bad quality in printing, should be given a quota? For nig, the amount that they will print won't even enter the global market because the official will bury it
Corruption is not alien to any country in the world, neither is it a Nigeria problem only. You guys are overlooking the basic facts that matters when it comes to BRICS.

You have to look at what are the goals and objectives of BRICS? One of its main goals is economic cooperation and access to markets on a fair and equal basis as against the typical western global economic arrangement. And this is where nations like Nigeria comes in. Does Nigeria has the population and the market? It does. Does it have the natural resources to foster the said cross-national economic cooperation? Yes.

Furthermore, Nigeria is corrupt, no doubt, but this isn't what BRICS is concerned about. Despite Nigeria's high level of corruption, this country wields so much influence across the continent, most especially in the subsaharan region. If today Nigeria joins BRICS, be rest assured that nearly every other country in this region would join sooner than later.

That said, what Procashtips put out concerning printing of currency was just a suggested wish, not an official BRICS plan. So, I don't understand why there is so much rancour about Nigeria joining BRICS.

Another thing BRICS should do when they end up with their own currency is to make sure that not one country is allowed to print the currency. Every region must have the ability to print part of the quotas needed per year.

Meaning if they must print 100 trillion BRICS currency and 10 regions make up the membership of BRICS, then they must print in 10 different regions but shared according to the population of each region.

Germany blocks sanctions on Russian gas.

European Union countries failed Friday to agree on fresh sanctions against Russia’s lucrative liquefied natural gas sector, according to six EU diplomats, with Germany blocking the deal on the eve of an international peace conference on Ukraine on Saturday.

The crux of the package was to ban countries from re-exporting Russian LNG from EU ports and financing planned Arctic and Baltic LNG terminals.

“Once upon a time, it was said that we should always blame … Hungary — and now it’s Germany,” said one diplomat familiar with discussions on the package, referring to Hungary’s habit of blocking earlier packages of sanctions.

The latest German blockage came as G7 leaders held summit talks in Italy, joined by top EU officials. They were expected to issue a strong statement on trade with China that would also criticize Beijing for providing so-called dual-use equipment that aids Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.

The sanctions on the table were to have been a 14th package backed by EU member countries since Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

Berlin was worried about broadening a measure that would force EU companies to ensure their customers cannot then sell sanctioned goods on to Moscow.

Previously, the so-called no-Russia clause had only applied to firearms, battlefield items and dual-use goods — which have both a military and civilian application. Germany worried its small businesses would suffer if this was expanded to more civilian products, like chemicals, or machinery for metalworking.

The newest ford class carrier has a top speed of over 30knots (56 kmph) a ford class carrier on its FULL throttle with its two nuclear powered rector would easily keep up with smaller vessels.

the clownish war expert said small ships would swamped the air craft carrier, the question the clown should ask itself is how did ships numbring of over 40 get so close to an aircraft without it been detected.
We're did the radars and early detection AWACS aircraft went to??, a group of ship coming to attack an aircraft carrier group would be picked up by radar miles away.

an aircraft with over 400plus aircraft would sit idle and wait for a group of ships to come ATTACK it.

a good example Is the USA and Japan forces battle of midway in the pacific, both aircrafts carries of both Nations never saw eye to eye
They engaged themselves with planes, the safest way to attack an aircraft carrier is by air, how will you be stupid enough to ATTACK a carrier with ships, when such carries carry aircraft that can easily destroy you from the air

😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
When kids believe in myth, reality becomes the baddest rude awakening bitchh.

In 2006 during a live-fire training exercise by the US Navy, a Chinese Kilo class submarine emerged from beneath behind the US carrier, simply bypassing thr entire US Carrier fleet and emerge on the surface undetected. When the US Navy command saw what happened, they were angry because they understood that if this was a hot war, the Chinese sub could simply hsve taken out the carrier and many of the fleet around it because they never saw it coming. It effectively busted the myth that you cannot reach or approach a US carrier group undetected.

One thing your irks don't know is that fleet carrier and strike groups are one of the most vulnerable military assets in a peer battle scenario. During WW2, for example, the US Japan lost more than 20 carrier ships to submarines and air strike attacks. The US lost more than 10 carrier ships also. And that was when missile tech is still in its infancy. Imagine now that you have hypersonic missiles, stealth missiles, and missles that even shoot flares while in flight to confuse enemy's detection assets.

Guy, while carrier ships offers global power projection and reach, they remain one of the fattest sitting dock targets for peers with 21st century rocket technology.
