Chariots of the Gods, Wsidom of the Ancients. Lol. You are reminding me of books I read during my teenage years.

You say these UFOs are ultra sophisticated, right? Well, if that were the case why would they need to come close to USN warships to observe them? Their sensors should let them see whatever they want from space or thousands of miles away. What are they looking for next to USN warships?

And why USN warships? What about the warships of other nations? I mean, I don't think I have heard of them shadowing the Kuznetsov. Is it cos that ship smokes like a sinner? Or they don't like Russians? smiley
Don't make the mistake of thinking it's only the US military that is experiencing these UFO encounter. Other military powers do, but many of these incidents are classified. The Russians have said some time ago that they have mastered the act of drawing the attention of UFOs. And guess how they do it: through military buildings. Sources from inside the Russian army has said that whenever they gather a huge number of military assets to conduct exercises, unidentified flying objects would suddenly pop out of the blue and start monitoring them.

I started thinking that the UFOs are drawn to large-scale military assets or buildups, and possibly something else...like their existence depends on ours, and they wouldn't want us to Bleep everything up by destroying ourselves with nukes. grin

This kind of twisted 'political correctness' will not get them anywhere anymore."

🇷🇺🇺🇦.It is worth noting that panic reports are spreading in Ukrainian social networks that during the detonation of an ammunition depot in Khmelnytsky, a large batch of British tank ammunition with depleted uranium, which was recently brought to Ukraine along with Storm Shadow missiles, was also destroyed. As a result of a huge explosion, particles of depleted uranium could be dispersed on the territory of the Khmelnytsky region, which, taking into account the experience of Yugoslavia and Iraq, could lead to an outbreak of cancer in the medium term.
There are already reports that the radiation background has allegedly increased in Khmelnitsky. Let's wait for actual confirmation.
Men, that strike and the generated mushroom looks exactly like something that has to do with Uranium. If true, then Russia has all the excuse to bomb the UK embassy in Kiev and strike at UK itself with one Poseidon nuclear tipped torpedo. But then, this war would have escalated dangerously.

Already Turkey don start now deh declare say en no go ever attack Russia. 😂 😂 France on the other hand is trying to create a relationship with China, thus will make it very neutral in the war. Italy will say their pope does not like confrontation and so will say they are respecting the Holy one. Greece and Spain is located very far from the chaos and will play to that advantage of being neutral.

UK will chicken out. We can't afford to go on war with our dwindling economy. We go back out.

In the end, Ukraine was the biggest fool.
It reminds me what transpired last month when the new German foreign minister said they NATO are virtually at war with Russia. The Croatian president then replied her:"Good luck to you and Germany in its effort to engage Russia in war. Croatia will never be part of such a project." cheesy

The reality is that, most of those nations in and those rushing to join NATO cannot even fight a sustained war for 14 days, let alone one that involved high class weaponry and large amount of ground forces and logistics to achieve a possibly quick and decisive victory, which, if it fails will mean a prolonged conflict that they cannot win. To buttress this point, during the NATO bombardment of Libya, some of the NATO countries including France, Britain ran out of bombs and other ammunitions within the first two weeks of the campaign. Not to mentioned that most of the alliance members have very small military size with limited capabilities. The US have openly said that the Ukraine war was designed to "weaken" Russia militarily. Why? Because NATO have conducted several NATO vs Russia war simulations and the result has always been the same: Russia quickly overran the Baltic states and conquered the Balkans, overrunning NATO eastern deployments due to several factors noted in each reports of the simulation outcome. That's the reason this Ukraine war won't end soon because, they designed it to weaken Russia's capabilities, which unfortunately isn't turning out good for them either. cool

It's only uninformed and ignorant kids here on Nairaland that salivate with misplaced expectations any time they hear of a 31 member Bloc taking on Russia in a hot war. cool

Something tells me the Russians already knew this would happen. I would not be surprised if the UK embassy in Kiev is bombed or something else happens. They're still mad at that Khinzal strike that kills about 300 NATO instructors not long ago.

But seriously, I think this is good for Russia because they have to stop treating the Ukraine adventure like it's some terrorist operation. They have to upgrade to a full blown war level which would involved escalating strikes and cutting off Ukraine western borders from the likes of Poland, which requires moving troops to the west. They have been too cautious in their approach focusing only on the east. Well, they know best. We hope this conflict ends quickly though.

If you say Putin came into Power by bombing and killing his own people, and not through votes, please provide an evidence.
When people use the word allegedly without concrete evidence, but continue with what was alleged, equates illiteracy.

Before the terror attack of 1999 in Moscow, Putin at that time was already made a prime minister and the successor or Yeltsin
If truly Putin came into Power like you said the west will surely parade it to every eyes on earth.

Mind you, just like the u.s, Russia classify's alot of documents, and incidents since the days of it empire, this is nothing new of the modern day Russia, where you can't see deep into their government because they're protecting themselves from their enemy the u.s (CIA).

Your second point on what's Russia interest in kiev can simply translate to:
1. National security: Russia simply can't sit back and allow the u.s to stage nuclear weapons in kiev, just like in 1962 were the u.s simply can't allow the Soviet union to stage nuke in Cuba.

2. Protecting it nationals: For 8 years the government of kiev have been publicly carrying out ethics cleansing on this modern day, in a very barbaric way, committing mass genocide which was widely criticized by the msm until self interest changed the narratives. We remember what happened in 9/11 and how the u.s responded.

3. Denazification: We can remember vividly what happened in WW2 when some part of Ukraine under the leadership of Stefan Banderá, fought alone side the Nazï against Russia, which led to the death of over 27 million.
A man who was supposed to be hated is now being celebrated, called a hero, streets where even named after him, statue where erected for him. Today he's been worshipped, tell me are these not enough signs of Nazïsm in Ukraine?

Except for some folks who don't understand or see things in the military perspective, but those who do, regard the Russia ground forces as the best in Urban combat because of the little civilian casualties recorded in this war. Today Wagner poses even bigger threats to the west, we can see that in the way they reacts.
Talking about economic gains from this war in Ukraine, you should take a look at Ukraine resources maps and tell me if the stupidity of Ukraine is not costing them their economic prosperity.

Waiting for me to tell you if am a u.s citizen or disproving me to tell you if i am, is a no no for me.
As an experienced user of the internet, especially in a faceless forum like NL, telling you who i am, where i am, where I'm from or what i do is a big NO from me.

The second emboldened sound like one chubby kid in the neighborhood who feel entitled to every good thing without working from it grin
If only you knew what the policy outside home have done to the u.s you won't make this statement.
You can boldly call the u.s an empire but you forgot to understand how empires are made, formed or build.

Empires of built on the sweat and blood of another nation.
If you feel my support for Russia is evil, then you should know I'm a man who hates absolute power, forceful monopoly, and hegemony, if any nation have this characteristics then you're welcome to a multipolar world and de-dollarization.

The third emboldened is why you need to look deep on the saying:

"Your true character is revealed not by what you do in the comfort of your home, but by how you carry yourself and act outside its walls." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

"True authenticity is not confined to the walls of your home. Carry the essence of who you are wherever you go, and let your actions shine as a testament to your unwavering character." - Mahatma Gandhi

I can go on and on.

Look, am not an hater of the u.s, it is undoubtedly one of the best countries in the world if not even the best.

"America cannot be a beacon of democracy within its borders while projecting authoritarianism beyond them. Consistency in values and principles is the cornerstone of a nation's integrity." - Martin Luther King Jr.

JFK'S cousin who's running for the presidency 2024 made a similar remark.

It takes only a morally right people to teach others about immorality.
You talk about oligarchs as if the u.s don't have.

If truly you want an answer to those questions about Russia, take a trip to Russia to see for yourself, you don't have to rely on what the MSM tells you about Russia.
In every form of reporting they try to demonize Russia, you don't need to rely on demonized statements to pass judgement.

⚡️The Prime Minister of 🇪🇪 Estonia is worried that her country is feeding parasites on NATO and spending more on defense than other members of the alliance.

Kaja Kallas said she was both "worried and surprised" by the repeated failure by most NATO countries to meet their 2% of GDP spending commitments.

Only eight members — the 🇺🇸 US, 🇪🇪 Estonia, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇱🇻 Latvia, 🇱🇹 Lithuania, 🇵🇱 Poland, the 🇬🇧 UK and new member 🇫🇮 Finland — out of the 31 alliance states have crossed the threshold, Kallas lamented.
Don't worry little Estonia. cool It's when the real war starts you and others will understand that Article 5 of NATO only exist on paper.
