seunny4lif: Russia afraid of USA, when? Which country changed the route of her drones after Russia military bought one down? Which country made noise on regime change on Syria but failed massively due to Russia? CIA director and many USA top USA secret services agencies traveled to Moscow and It took USA government 6 months to be able to get permission from Russia before Biden was allowed to visit Kyiv, USA kept it secret that even USA allies don’t even know about it until the Moscow approved it.
When Russia smashed Georgia, it was France and Germany that were was able to calm Medvedev as USA president then Bush can only watch from afar.
Russia took back Crimea and banned any war ships from visiting Mauripol until Russia finally seized the city last year.
Russia started a war with Ukraine, blocked half of Black Sea and warned anyone from sending ships, immediately almighty USA withdrew her ships from there. Even when Ukraine was begging NATO members to send ships since three members of NATO shared the sea with Russia.
A war between Russia and USA is not going to about matching foot soldiers, it’s nuclear war. Simple. Go and see USA law on attack on her home land.
USA have everything to lose a war against Russia compare to Russia with will have few things to lose. Russia don’t own over 800 military bases around the world. Russia is not the world police Russia is not the world tech centre. You even have all the time to lecture these kids. Hollywood have done so much harm to their sense of comprehension. I like reading and laughing from the sidelines at such comments. If they cannot learn from the mere fact that a country that has more than 10,000 sanctions slapped on it is doing well, and even better than some of the nations that slapped sanctions on it, then there is no need trying to educate them about what would happen when push comes to shoves. Just let them thrive in their ignorance. |

Sevenworldpower: Security/military/economic alliance cannot be effective without captain of the alliance. US is captain of NATO. Who is captain of BRICS and CTSO.
Nagorno-Karabakh War is ongoing. CTSO territory. Captain is busy in Ukraine. China troops have been moved to india border with China due to hostility between the 2 nations. No captain. Greek v Turkey hostility- under control. Captain is doing his work. Can military alliance stop wars? NO. Human leaders have beast-ike attitude looking for flesh to devour. On the contrary, alliance formations are precursor to war. Same events that led to WW1 and WW2 -- economic and military alliances-- are repeating themselves now. Some nations are now even considering switching to military economy; that should give you a grim picture of what is brewing right now. It doesn't matter who is captain or not. Any major war that breaks out now would mean the end of the 21st century as we know it. Life would be reeled back to the 11th century. We better pray it shouldn't happen in our time. |

Jokerman: Sir... from what I notice, Taiwan is the one running to the US.... Why are they running away from China?
I'm thinking maybe China should call them as a big brother and maybe negotiate, instead of brute force? Taiwan isn't running to the US, is the US sticking its dirty troubling nose to stir an already muddy water. Taiwan seek outright independence from China, which no sane nation would allow just as China didn't allow it. The US is just seizing the opportunity to assert itself and cause economic and political rancour, especially considering that Taiwan is a major player in Chip production. If not for the Chip market, the US wouldn't even blink an eye whether China is bleeping Taiwan up and down. The US is just an opportunist seizing the moment to settle economic and political scores with China, just as they're doing with Ukraine against Russia. |

Bringbackmandat: the reason why some people hate the USA is because they are the power that stands against the evil terrorist. The fear of the US make the world a peaceful place, who know how many countries would have been destroyed by Osama bin laden if the US had not destroyed the terrorist. This just shows you're a child in international politics. People are increasingly hating on the United States because they are the once terrorising people from one state to another. I guess you didn't know that the Osama Bin Laden you mentioned was created, trained and funded by America to be what he was. The US and its MIC is the real evil. The earlier you realise this the better for your mental health. |

Imagine China openly instigating and canvassing for Texas sovereignty as a nation.
What kind of foolish imagination be disuan? Do you know the degree of diversity the American system deals with on a daily that China can't handle? In their waywardness or radical state, no American state would seek a communist support if she wants to break away. Americans that are too tied and addicted to their government. Government wey dey pamper.
Why are the Islamic extremists and jihadists here on nairaland so terribly stupid? Tell that to Texas and the separatist movement growing there now. You're deluded if you think America is more diverse than China. If you don't have sound and logical points to make as rebuttal, get off my mention, I don't roll with kids that throws tantrums. You don't even know me yet you think I'm a Moslem cause your brain has been wired to think that way whenever you come across anyone whose views doesn't align with yours. |

WritterNig: ⚡️ 🇧🇬 Bulgaria will close its ports to all 🇷🇺 Russian ships
The Bulgarian authorities close their ports to all Russian ships, regardless of the flag under which they sail, according to PortSEurope.
The decision comes into force on April 8 and is associated with the directive of the 🇪🇺 European Union on the implementation of sanctions.
Ships UNDER 🇷🇺 Russian flags already cannot enter Bulgarian ports. The country's Maritime Administration set the ban on April 17 as part of the fifth package of EU sanctions, making an exception only for deliveries of critical products from Russia.
Now, the ban is being expanded: vessels registered with the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping will not be able to enter 🇧🇬 Bulgarian ports, both sea and river. More self-inflicted harm to their economies. These midget nations won't learn that the world has since moved away from the Western Bloc led tightfisted hegemonic economic control to a more multipolar version of BRICS where everyone's interest count. Once the BRICS come up with their currency plan next September, it would be too late for them to realise what they have done to themselves. |

WritterNig: ⚡️ 🇺🇦 Ukraine ‘ready’ to talk to 🇷🇺 Russia on Crimea if counteroffensive succeeds.
🇺🇦 Kyiv is willing to discuss the future of Crimea with Moscow if its forces reach the border of the 🇷🇺 Russian-occupied peninsula, a top adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has told the Financial Times.
The comments by Andriy Sybiha, deputy head of Zelenskyy’s office, are the most explicit statement of Ukraine’s interest in negotiations since it cut off peace talks with the Kremlin last April.
“If we will succeed in achieving our strategic goals on the battlefield and when we will be on the administrative border with Crimea, we are ready to open [a] diplomatic page to discuss this issue,” Sybiha said, referring to Kyiv’s long-planned counteroffensive.
He added: “It doesn’t mean that we exclude the way of liberation [of Crimea] by our army.”

linearity: I see USA as the peacemaker and defender of the helpless and weak, no wonder God is blessing them.
Who is China to dictate who visits or does not visit Taiwan? Why are not bullying Taiwan, just like Russia bullying Ukraine?
It is not by force for Taiwan to love China or for Ukraine to love Russia. If you are true leader and Super power allow these other smaller countries to flock to you, don’t use your might, power and money to subdue them.
Go and read the beatitudes in the Bible, when Jesus was addressing Peacemakers, He was actually calling the name of USA….not toothless loud mouthed fellows like Russia who told us they will run down Ukraine in two days, but getting to two years now, they are stuck in a quagmire or China whose economy was solely powered by US consumer power. Calling the US peacemakers is like calling Satan an angel of love. Kudos. You just made Satan a very proud man. Because he and the US are one. |

Finland joins NATO China deploys warship
The battle for semi conductor won’t be an easy one as US will never let China an easy ride in Taiwan.
China has not fought any modern war and looking to test run with Taiwan. They may be making the biggest mistake of the 21st century. They have come far from where they are about 4 decades ago doesnt mean they have arrived. And they are about to reveal their weakness to the world by the time they start a war they will never win. Taiwan will not even last 48 hours in a full blown war with the motherland. At the bolded, read up what happened when China "entered the Dragon" in the Korean War. Thousands of body bags of Americans were returned home. China don't play the "mother and child spanking" style like Russia is going with Ukraine. We should stop projecting and sue for peace. The US is the problem of this world. |

lhordspy: I thought ya'all said Russia is the problem. Is Russia also the problem here? Is Russia the cause of:
China vs Taiwan Russia vs Ukraine Palestanian - Isreal Iran - Isreal India - Pakistan Afghanistan crisis Libya civil war Syria war Iran internal tension and Chaos Myanmar's, Venezuela , turkey unrest
All these unrest, there is one country involve in all these. And we all know the country except we want to be hypocritical. You will always find them in everything chaos. There is only one country causing, instigating, fanning chaos in all these places. Turning neighbours against each other. Just look at T!awan 'saying their democracy and freedom is under threat'. Same thing Ukraine is saying, same thing !sreal is saying, same thing the citizens of iran being used as anti-government mob to burn down their country, are echoeing saying. Same thing women in Afghanistan, soiling the name of their country in mud all in the name of freedom; are wailing about.
All of them saying same thing like Robot, same excuses they were programmed with, same cheap propaganda they are selling to all of them, so as to turn them against their neighbouring country and start war. Or cause unrest in their own country and bring it down by themselves.
And we all know that country. The country that joined forces with other countries to invade our own Africa country; Libya. Massacre its people , kill the leader Gadaffi, close the airspace, bomb down the country into rubbles. All in the name of looking for weapon of mass destruction. So many years after, they still havent showed us the weapon of mass destruction they recovered nor tell us the the motive for the invasion. The Libya they told us they were trying to liberate back then, is in ruin presently. A black market for weapons, body part, where Africans sell Africans to Foreigners.; the most disastrous thing that can ever happen to any continent !
Peacemaker indeed. That country is none other than the United States of Abomination, Abomicity, and Abomilocal government . Everything the US touches manifest in chaos, anarchy, destruction and death. No wonder it was voted sometime ago as the greatest threat to world Peace. |

Babapyro: How foolish are some of you exactly, Ukraine is literarily the closest link Russia has to it's past, they couldn't care less about Finland, how does this news affect Russia by any way. Finland just committed suicide because in case of a NATO Russia was they'll be nuked first, they already have 13 ICBM pointed at them as of today, what is there to celebrate in your impending doom You don't have to be surprised. Western politicians with few exceptions act based on emotions. Just imagine that at a time when many nations are now turning away from the Western-led bloc of imperialism and warmongering, diabolic gun-boat diplomacy, midgets like Finland ruled by equally emotional politicians devoid of pragmatic and logical reasoning are pitching tents with NATO, a bloc that most ordinary people in the Western hemisphere are increasingly seeing and protesting against as the greatest threat to the European and the global peace order. Just recently, more than half of the lawmakers in the Austrian parliament walked out of a televised speech being made to the House by Zelensky of Ukraine. Other countries like Croatia, Hungary, Chech Republic, and Bulgaria are increasingly getting fed up and switching to neutral status in the face of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine because they understand that, once the real first shot gets fired between NATO and Russia, nothing would defend or save them from Russian nukes, tactical or otherwise. It is when war breaks out that the majority of these so-called NATO member states will realize that they don't have a population that is ready to fight for them. This is the reason they don't want people to see the massive anti-NATO protests that keep reoccurring in many cities across Europe--Prague, Madrid, Paris, London, Italy, Muniche, and more, that the Western mainstream media are refusing to televise. It is only here on Nairaland you see people celebrating Finland joining NATO because so many of them are just emotional while some are honestly ignorant of the facts on the ground. Whatever, the world will keep on going but the doomsday clock is ticking closer to midnight. We can only hope for the best. |
