after a month and half after stocking, in is necessary to do a total flush of the water by pumping all the water in the pond then release fresh water into the pond.
doing this would help reduce ammonia level in the pond which most times leads to infection like fin rot

I have being cultivating both lands.
5k per bag.
I planted greengo.
I wet with hose.
spacing between both plant is 1feet.
I use only manure

my brother getting 5-6 fruits per crop is not an easy feat,the first factor is soil type,I have read about the farmer that harvested 35 bags from one harvest on a 2000 crop farm,if you factor in 5-6 harvest you will see that he will easily surpass 100 bags from that farm,we use the 30 cm drip spacing and not getting desired results so we are increasing to 60cm

cucumber farming to me is do your rest and leave the rest to God.
I have two different farm where I do cucumber with the same practise.
Farm1 with 2100 stands.
I harvested 30bags on my first harvest and I got a total of 121 bags.
farm2 with 1688 stands.
my last harvest would be on Monday and I have harvested about 114 bags..
what I can deduce here is fertility of a land plays a vital role.
my spacing is 30cm

am suspecting manure in this case, though I have not use velum prime before but I believe it nematicide as well, like worm force. When I applied worm force, I planted cucumber immediately on it, and nothing happen. Why am suspecting manure in this case, if you mix manure and cocopeat together then plant cucumber it will germinate then later die.

it is not the manure because I use same manure on another piece of land and I don't experience the problem.
problem started when I applied velum prime on that land, the land just keep wasting and of is paining me

first why are the cucumbers dieing,did you check the roots if it is truly nematodes or is it a case of fertilizer or manure burn,even nematodes cannot kill a 2 weeks old plant,the problems starts at fruiting then it will be wilting in sunlight,even a waterlogged soil can cause such mortality,if you want to plant again till the land properly,form ridges for good drainage and plant,do not use any manure or fertilizer let's see,

whenever I purchase new stock of juvenile, I quarantine them for 48 hours due to the transporting stress and uncertainty from the hatchery I buy from in a small holding tank.
I mix a table spoon of fish biotic and 250gram of salt to 100liters of water. with this you are 100% sure of 0 mortalities as a result of post hatchery breeding
