my brother getting 5-6 fruits per crop is not an easy feat,the first factor is soil type,I have read about the farmer that harvested 35 bags from one harvest on a 2000 crop farm,if you factor in 5-6 harvest you will see that he will easily surpass 100 bags from that farm,we use the 30 cm drip spacing and not getting desired results so we are increasing to 60cm

my last harvest would be on Monday and I have harvested about 114 bags..
what I can deduce here is fertility of a land plays a vital role.

that farm 2 will fit in one plot and if you sold for #5k per bag which is the price in some places now,you will easily make more than #500k per plot,red scorpion hot peppers is available, limited quantities, WhatsApp/call 0811+9942+049

transplanting in progress,the rain is threatening to fall which will make tomorrows weather cool and conducive for the trans plants,but if not we can't disturb God for rain,we have our irrigation system in place,take special note of the distance of manure and crop very critical when using chicken Manure.

one inch is better,if you use 3/4 the width of the pipe will not accommodate the connectors, check any pipe you intend to use that after putting connector there will be space for water to pass freely.

you know that most plant disease shows externally (which is easier for an app like plantix to detect and diagnosis) and animal disease starts inside before showing outside,there may be such app but it will be highly incorrect,take for instance pig disease like swine flu,hog cholera and African swine fever,all three disease has same symptoms and external features,you can only tell which one is which by lab test

Hello Mr. okoroemeka, it's been an interesting time on this thread and farming cucumber too. My first trial was quite interesting, and I think I presently have a new job now. I decided to seek more training in addition to the info that you have piled up here and that led me to attend Kuch99 trainings on cucumber and tomatoes. I am armed with more information and I want to do another trial which I strongly believe will be better than the first one. so I will be doing almost 200 sacks planted with 2 seeds each.

The only challenge I have right now is that I want to add drip irrigation to my setup seeing that watering with hand for the 50 bags I did last is not a small task. I'm presently looking for where to buy small quantity of drip tapes like 100m. all those I have asked do not sell such small quantities. The least I have seeing is 500m and the emitter spacing is 0.3m when I need 0.5m. I don't know if you have any lead to buy such small quantity. Otherwise, I'm presently on the verge of ordering from china. I have seeing suppliers who will sell small quantities even as small as 100metres. I will update you as I progress because I want to achieve at least 10fruits per plant, I will be needing all the mentorship I can get.

Today cucumber was sold in portharcourt for 13k and tomatoes is still on the high side with pepper following suite.....omo farmers go enjoy this year oooo...thank God for drip, so no dulling for me even with the recent scarcity of rain.....money money money for me, all my hard work is paying off mega this year....

my brother, it's a long story. Although I have gotten drip tapes now, but the challenge is that all of the accessories are also sold in bulk. like I need 15 connectors now, I want to buy a pack of 100. if I decide to use ground supports, I'd also have to buy a pack of 100. it's tiring my brother. cucumbers consume water like mad and watering with bucket is nauseating. Life is really hard for a DIYer in Nigeria. I am in Oyo State. Nairaland sellers are terrible, I have spoken or done business with some of them. Do you have any deal?
