HOW WOULD THE LOAN BE EXPENDED

Fungicide magic box. 150000
Insectide. 30000

TOTAL. 1000000

Business / Re: Best And 100% Secure Business Deal by Aquadude16: 1:36pm On Apr 21
REASON FOR ACCESSING LOAN.
As a result of the increment in prices of most agricultural input, our budget has been over stretched.
Most prices of agric input we budgeted for this year have doubled and tripled, so it is delaying our expansion plan

Okro planted on the 10th of February, it was pre-germinated by soaking in water for 12hours to speed up the germination process. This helps in uniform seed germination

Nawa ooo.
For the kin subsidy period
The price isn't fair at all, and they won't reduce the price they sell to their customers.
They are always willing to exploit farmers

MARKET WAY.
Farmers should always work on sales of output by have atleast 2 or 3 different source as this would reduce wastage of farm produce and unfavourable pricing.

I am planning to do my first cucumber seedling tomorrow and I am honestly feeling lazy ahead about the transplantating...and it really got me thinking if it's worth doing or I should plant it directly into the soil...I want to plant 3 sachet of greengo.

Pls senior men that have done both direct planting and using of seed trays...is it worth the stress?

((((My Okro project is finally done today. I am indeed grateful to God for it was a successful one. I learnt a lot through the process and as a matter of fact I will be downsizing next time just to manage better. Also due to large acreage being used we need extra hands on harvesting days in which those women are trying to suck us dry due to the fact that they know we can’t harvest alone. A basket was being harvested for 500naira and transportation to and fro was on us. Thank you all for sticking around. God bless all your legit endeavors)))

This is a statement from one of our farmer here on nairaland.
2+2 might not always give you 4 in agric, you can't downplay the importance of organic growth in agric. That is why you see many abandoned massive agric project.
But if you have more than enough cash, it is better you invest not more that 20% of it so as to have something to fall back to, then have a mentor with a successful farm record that is ready for consultation because what we see online here are just the basics of agric

Senior abeg weytin happen gangan..share your experiences with us, what exactly went wrong ?
What it human error or it was nature.
My brother, it's a long story but I would concise.
I never knew the stream I wanted to use in my farm is a seasonal stream because it has a high volume water flow, I was surprised to see it dry all of sudden. I rushed to dig a borehole but it couldn't cater for my farm so I lost all my plants then.
I downside abit to fit into the liters I get from the borehole water I get daily but after some weeks I could hardly pump water for 30mins, the water would stop pumping.
I also have issues with acidic soil my cukes leaves were just turning yellow for no reason.
Just to mention a few

I noticed something recently especially with the newbies, they don't bother with the key details. How will I transport my produce? What are the materials I need to grow healthy plant? Where and when to sell my produce? The thing is my eye don see shege for this our work, I have seen someone that lost over twenty million on cucumber and tomato, I have seen someone that realize 3m on just one sachet of plantinum, have seen someone that makes between 3-5m every five days during season and I have also seen someone that commit suicide because of failing farm back to back....hmmmmm etc. It is dangerous to just jump to work you don't know the details!
Baba you are 100% right.
Let me share my little experience.
I relocated to a bigger site late last year to expand my production. I use same template I used in farming my crops in my previous farm but I can tell you sir that i have being failing back to back till I hit the rock bottom. Millions of naira wasted since I doubled my production . I wan buy sniper drink but when I see say e cost pass malt and milk I change my mind.
Tho things has begin to change gradually.
Farming is not for the mild heart oooo.
And I would advise any farmer to test the river with a foot when ever you want to upscale your production or when changing location.
If possible do soil analysis

The tomatoes have improved/settled in their new home.
I lost a few and wish to ask of it's wise to replace them from my new nursery batch?

My observation on the recent experience is that:
1. The young tomatoes were too tall at the time of transplanting them. We had to dig deeper holes to accommodate the height. But, the workers that did the transplant did not fill the soil properly to hold the root+stem. There was vacuum beneath the soil and the plant.
2. The transplant operation started in the morning through the afternoon. The hot weather of the day and subsequent days of no rainfall stressed the plant as well.
No
Can I gap-fill with younger plants from the nursery please?
You can replant sir, that if they are of the same sizes and age
