Using this opportunity to say thank you to all Mama's and papaS here, who supported, inspired and encouraged me, Learned a lot out here, but unfortunately I lost my baby, the feeling has been overwhelming but I'm trying to be strong. Wao , maybe you had a vanishing twin in 1st trimester but never knew. Your body will absorbed it without you bleeding but if it occurred in 2nd trimester you would have had a heavy flow .

I had a vanishing twin as at 7w 4days .

Woah!! Never heard of this, hmm.....I think I might get a third opinion and if it's still same, I'd have to ask my doctor serious questions

Good day mamas, how we dey? I'm actually here to rant coz it's been eating me up for days....when I was about 6weeks I noticed any small stress like this I'd start seeing blood spottings, would have to use sanitary pads, so I went to the hospital and register for Anc, they did their normal check ups and tests, and I was told to get an ultrasound to know how things were fairing, which I was told I'm expecting twins, I was elated and all, and on subsequent scans, about 3 ultrasound the doctor kept telling me the 'babies" were doing great, on Wednesday I decided to go to another centre to get second opinion was actually eager to know their gender, only for me to be told it's a single fetus!!! I had to insist to double check coz I've had about 4 of the scan at my hospital and I was told double fetus.....this has been messing with my mental health, my husband told me to be calm maybe one is hiding but it's hard to miss twins at 23weeks I believe. I'm confused, I don't know what to do, I've honestly not been myself ever since

Sorry teamie try to engage yourself. I noticed anytime i don't do anything i feel sick. So i do things to make me busy. My own problem is food and sleep i eat a lot and i sleep alot too the lord will give us the strength. Have you check the baby sex oya tell me let me update.

Thanks mama, I hope once I resume work tomorrow, things would be a bit different, maybe the engagement might help.......I envy you right now..lol...wish I could eat and sleep as I like o, still have food aversions, I and my 5years old use the same plate for food now, and I still wouldn't finish my plate Even with knowing the fact I'm eating for 3......I haven't checked for their sex, but looking forward to it at my next anc appointment which is this Wednesday. God will continually strengthen us. Amen

Cappo I'm here o, thanks for checking up, actually thought second trimester was supposed to be for flex, lol but honestly it hasn't been easy, it's been one issue or the other, I barely sleep and wake up daily to different symptoms, I Locked myself in the room to cry yesterday, knowing I'm not a sickly person but the situation has turned me to one, The past few weeks had not been easy honestly but I know God is with me.

Belleful mamas how una dey, how body? Pls o, I don't know if anyone has experienced this, I had cattarh and cough last week, I was giving some medication at the hospital, although the cough has stopped, but the cattarh has refused to go o, for three days now I noticed it has affected my ear, once a particular side of the nose is blocked, the ear on that side too will be blocked, it's so uncomfortable, pls if anyone has experienced this, pls let me know.

In my little experience, I believe cold water (chilled) and cough don't agree, and dry throat most of the time leads to cough, it's just temporarily until she feels better......it's whats been working for me though.

Please, make una help put mouth for this matter because I don dey fear small small.

I tested positive a couple of weeks ago and the only symptoms I have had so far is headache almost on a daily, tender breasts, occasional lower back discomfort, occasional bitter taste in the throat.

Two days ago, I started experiencing dry throat no matter how much water I drink and I woke up today to a drier throat.

Abeg, is this part of the package too or am I to be worried?

Hi mama I'm sure theirs no cause for alarm as pregnancy comes with different packages and for the dry throat, that was one of my symptoms during my first trimester, stay away from cold water and give drinking hot water a try, and if you could boil ginger and garlic sieve the water and drink while it's hot, you should feel better after a while. I hope this helps.

Mama ejima, how has the journey so far, we dey inside same boat o, I've not been finding it easy, I just entered 2nd trimester and Belle Don big and obvious... lol, can't walk far distance, if I do I start getting back pain, the struggle to get the right sleeping position nko? let's not talk about how many times I eat daily 😂😂 it is well....God will keep us and see us through, we will come out victorious.

Team July how are we doing now how is our Lo this one wey we just dey quite. Hope we have started antenatal or you are just like Me waiting till February. May God see us through

We are doing great mama, I've started antenatal since November o, actually wanted to delay a bit, but I noticed any small stress like this I start spotting blood, I had to go to the hospital to complain, I was placed on a weekly injection (primolut depot) and just like that we resumed antenatal. How are other mamas doing, hope we are taking it easy.

July mama reporting o, edd is July 22, scan showed twins, this first trimester has not been easy, Any small activity like this I start seeing blood, scared to even do common chores. It's now I believe pregnancies are not the same, all through my first pregnancy, I had no morning sickness and was strong all through the 9months. This one is showing me wonders ��

Hi, mama !!
I'm in my first trimester also and I had the same issue weeks back, a momma here prescribed boiling ginger and garlic, sieve and drink the water, I drank it hot morning and night for just two days and it worked like magic, haven't felt sore throat or cough since then.

Boil ginger and garlic in water .strain it and drink it. It should go in two days. Though I added lime and honey for my kids and it worked but I'm not sure lime and honey is good for early pregnancy but garlic and ginger are great. It may feel uncomfortable at first of it burns your throat but it will get better

Good day Mamas, pls help o, I'm in my first trimester about 5weeks and it's been 6 days now I've had sore throat accompanied with cough that usually get serious in the night, I barely sleep, I went to the pharmacy to complain and I was given strepsils and a cough syrup, once I take the strepsils the sore throat subsides for about an hour then gets serious again, I'm tired, I can barely swallow my saliva, Its a struggle to eat. Pls mamas are these also early stage symptoms? Is there anything you can prescribe for fast relief. I'll appreciate your responses

I really don't think it's the soap, maybe he's reacting to something..but if you are having doubts, you can switch to other soaps, I can't name any coz I'm only familiar with sebamed, maybe other Mama's will shook mouth for the matter

Whew!!! *clears cobwebs* planning a birthday isn't a small task especially when working on a really tight budget, but God Took total control the party was sooo lit, not only the kids had fun, the adults also even the grand/greatgrandparents weren't left out... The dj was 110% on point...I mean a year old birthday party ended at 11pm mehn!!! we are still taking gifts, thanks to those that reached out, I so appreciate....LASIRE IS 1

I'm kind of bothered about immunisations for babies. My princess is 3wks and she was given BCG and Hepatitis the 2nd day of birth. Next appointment is July 1st.

Mamas that have gone through the immunisation processes, could you kindly draw up a list of the immunisations and the times to be taken please. I really want to have a knowledge of this for follow ups on my own.

You shouldn't really be bothered, I think you were supposed to be given an immunisation record card. Here is how ours is. BIRTH: Hep B, Opv, Bcg. 6weeks: Opv1, Penta1, PCV1, Rota1.
10wks: Opv2, Penta2, PCV2, Rota2.
14wks: Opv3, penta3, PCV3,IPV. 6mnts: VitA 1st dose. 9mnts: measle 1, yellow fever.
12-15mnths: MMR, chicken pox, VitA 2, 18mnths: DTP(booster), OPV(booster).

Though d last time we went for our 9month vaccination we were told my dd would be getting a meningitis shot next appointment, that wasn't in d schedule I have..... So I belive other moms will shuk mouth...
