@dduchess90 please I need urgent advice on what to do. MA deadline for resumption is on Monday October 2, and UKVI has not reached out to both MA and dependant. Application was made on the 24th August, biometric TLS Ikeja 30th of August, standard. Since then No nsf, no emails, 2 paid calls on the 19th and 24th September, escalation email on the 20th of September. Currently, decision has still not be yet been made. Is it possible UKVI approves the visa for MA and dependant after resumption deadline? Please I need urgent answer thanks

What issues are you having with paid mails or calls?

You should be able to do so yourself without paying anyone, agents aren’t encouraged on this platform and scammers are everywhere lurking

Besides you are going for a masters degree and should be able to do these things yourself comfortably

Tell us the concern so we can guide appropriately

Photos are only minor evidences so it should be fine

You may have to prepare to travel without them, they can join later when they get their visa

Please was your application successful? First Bank did not respond to the email from UKVI in my case. It appears that they have a problem. I contacted them and they are telling me they have escalated to the proper unit and I should expect a call back in 48hrs. Time is far gone. Does anyone have a quick fix for this? You cannot pay in Naira. You need a Dollar Card or someone abroad can pay for you and you pay the person in Naira.

Consistent application for 3weeks & 5days. Got 104 'unfortunately' reply from indeed. Had to source for registered sponsors from gov.uk & start bombing them with applications. Got response from 4 employers, did interview & got offer. But i've been waiting for COS since june & its really frustrating.

However, June is long o. I will advice you to try and reach out to them, so they can give you an update on the COS

You see this is same weakness that this oppressing govt see in the citizenry that keeps them doing what they are doing .

Didn't you read the changes , something that was about 3.5k naira before at Alagbon now taken to 25k plus 5k processing fee , there was no pim ! No body talk.

The 5k making 30k is the processing fee and a kobo
ordinarily shouldn't be paid again.

This choking is too much , and people are not helping matters

The truth is, no additional tip is needed to be paid depending on individual circumstances. However if you need it urgently/ same day then you need to tip. Hence you need to wait for about 3weeks to a month to get it without tipping anyone. I hope that helps.

Last month. After payment of 30k online, you shouldn't tip more than 10k to get the certificate the same day. Please read my previous comments on the PCC.

My experience on this is somehow. After making 30k payment online, the officers were still demanding for additional 20k, claiming they will have to send it to Lagos and can not be ready same day. I don't know if there were people whose experiences are different from mine.

Maybe because you're not in Lagos. In Lagos you shouldn't pay more than 10k and you should get the certificate the same day. It's very straightforward.

Virtually everything is now done online via their official website possap.gov.ng.
You will have to pay 30k online, then proceed to do biometric in thier office "police criminal investigation department" which will be in your nearest preferred chosen state.
Note* When you get to the CID, for instance in Lagos "ikoyi CID". you have to tip them like 10k but not more than that to get the police character certificate the same day. It usually take about 2-3hrs to get it. I hope this helps.

To those who submitted bank statement proof of fund during thier work visa application. Did you guys got bank statement directly from the bank specifically for UK visa or you downloaded and used the one that banks usually send to emails every month end.? Or is it the generated ones from the bank mobile app? Please I need an urgent response. So I won't make silly mistakes. Furthermore, must it be stamped from the bank? Thanks in advance.

Please I repeat, do not send money to someone you don't know very well or haven't met in person all in the name of issuing you a COS. Because if you do, apparently you're very desperate. My brother, my sister if you do, you will be the next MUGU and you will definitely regret it. Just an advice. He that has 2 ears let him/hear hears.

There is a supposedly advertised agent in the UK helping people with COS as advertised by a moniker here. Please be informed that after all checks and investigation, the process is 99% scam. The scammer at the other side of the phone claiming British is same as the advertiser here.Don't say I didn't warn you o.

I am not going to disclose the details of the observation here so that the scammer won't tighten the loose ends.

We shouldn't let desperation lead is into bankruptcy in the guise of "Japaing" by fire by force.

Let's be careful out there!

I knew, I thought as much it was a scam. I didn't even dropped my email. If anyone want an agent, it should be through someone you know very well. Like friend or relatives. Not just random person you met online and started advertising COS. Please you guys should be very careful and wise so you don't loose money to scammers.

It's for a family of 5, all granted.

I can say I made the application quite robust finance wise even though maintenance was ticked.
