A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has expressed optimism of the party bouncing back.

George vowed to ensure that the PDP regains its glory days, hence he urged members to be steadfast.

Cracks emanated from the PDP after its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, named former governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.

Atiku’s decision led to the immediate past Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, leading the G-5 governors and other party chieftains to demand the resignation of the former party’s national chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.

Their call for Ayu’s removal was to achieve a “regional balance” since he and Atiku were both from the north.

However, George said efforts would be put in place to move PDP forward.

Addressing PDP general assembly in Lagos, George assured that despite what happened during the last general elections, PDP members should remain steadfast as they would not be allowed to go into extinction.

He said: “I urge you all, who have been faithful, to remain steadfast; we would ensure that the party regains its lost glory.”

He assured that, in due course, the national leadership of the party must conduct a “thorough post-mortem to resolve all issues that affected the party.”

How I wish the President can revisit the Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) one of Atiku's former asociate exposed which he (Atiku) himself confessed to in a leaked audio tape.

God really heard the prayers of Nigerians by not making Atiku win that 2023 election.. the damage he'd cause this country will be too much.

You were put in charge of Power reforms but instead of bringing investments in the Power sector, you went to bring generator company Mikano to come and supply us power.. How on earth will a man think that way. Today, generators have flooded the entire country and public power suppy system is in a very poor state. Billions of dollars budgeted to fix power sector unaccounted for.

Should we even talk of the estates same man allegedly has in Dubai?.. took Nigeria's wealth to go and build luxuries in Dubai while he grants press conference to rubbish patriotic Nigerians and Nigerian institutions simply because he lost elections. It's a shame the man is behaving in the manner he is, denigrating Nigeria and her public institutions over election loss. Shame!!

I was in Mikano International between late 2005 and 2007 when athief-ku and his team were regularly visiting Mikano International head office at ACME road, Ikeja.

I did not understand the plot then. But years later, I understood clearly the plot of this evil man.

As a young engineer, the fragrance of the perfume these people sprayed on while moving around the offices never left my brain till today.

They made me know perf is good.

Atiku is one of the worst thing to ever happen to Nigeria.

Guy, every statement in this case is very important, you never can tell the root cause of his death. A good investigator listens attentively to all that seems irrelevant, statements you can think are irrelevant can actually crack a very had case

Emotional people actually care less about facts.
Those who had judged and concluded the case on marley and Co. Will never want to hear that his wife was actually the mastermind.

From my years of following investigations on CBS justice and Discovery ID, I have learnt that people you never thought of do commit crime, labelling it on another person because it was an easier way for public to believe.

However, whether our mostly headless youth want to agree or not,
Mohbad's wife is a major suspect.
However, our gullible youths will insinuate that investigating his wife is compromise from the strong and mighty.

Data gave it that 32 states in Africa have better GPI than USA.
