First of all, Yesterday, when the tribunal was taking appearance for the representative of the political parties in court. When the LP representative was called upon. Abure couldn't summon the courage to stand up, 'dem no born am well' . It was Lamidi Apapa and the LP women-leader that stood up. Abure knows that would have been disrespectful to the court. He knows he isnt recognise by the law. HIs claim to the position only start and end on social media and beer parlours.

Secondly, Labour party and its goons have been bullying the judiciary since the tribunal started. Telling them to make sure they do the right thing. The same labour party cant even honour a simple court ruling. Imagine going to court to seek justice, yet, back in your fold; you are disrespecting the judgement of a court. Does that make sense?

Thirdly, Obidients and its opportunist of a candidate have been going around crying about bullying, violence, Oluomo, voter-suppression in Lagos. So many tweets, so many posts, even letters to foreign countries. Yet it is this same Obidients cheering-on their fellow miscreants who manhandled someone 'inside the premises of a court'. They only condemn violence only when it hurt them, but support and encourage it when it is in their favour.

Bunch of hypocrites.

I stand with you on this.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Tuesday presented a N71 billion 2023 supplementary budget to the State House of Assembly for approval.

This is contained in a letter read during plenary presided over by the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Christopher Ochor in Asaba.

Mr Okowa said the budget was made up of N5.6 billion recurrent expenditure and N65.5 billion capital expenditure

“May I wish to note that there has been actual and projected increase in some fiscal receipts.

“Consequently, the supplementary budget has become necessary for appropriation to pay for some critical projects and activities of the government as well as fund ongoing projects across the state in the year 2023.

“In the light of the foregoing, it would be greatly appreciated if the draft 2023 Supplementary Appropriation Bill is placed before the House at its earliest convenience for consideration and passing into law,” he said.

The Majority Leader, Ferguson Onwo moved a motion for the first reading of the budget which was unanimously adopted when put to a voice vote by the deputy speaker.

The oil-rich Delta is among the states that received billions of naira from President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as a refund for the backlog for the 13 per cent oil derivation money held back by the federal government since 1999.

Also during Tuesday’s plenary, the House Joint Committee on Rules, Business, Legal and Judicial Matters and Special Committee on Bills presented its report on a bill to provide for the Compulsory Treatment and Care of Victims of Gunshots in the state.

Presenting the report, the Chairperson, House Committee on Rules, Business, Legal and Judicial Matters, Charles Oniyere, said the joint committee worked tirelessly to deliver within the time given to it.

Mr Oniyere said after meticulous examination and scrutiny of the bill, the committee made some far reaching recommendations for the approval of the House.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the report would be considered by the Committee of the Whole next week.

I hope compensation are paid to those affected.

I did a survey for Lagos around the perimeter of the airport from Akowonjo end, through Shasha, Ejigbo to Ajao Estate.
There are almost 10,000 properties discovered to be illegal having encroached into area gazetted for FAAN.
We were actually annoyed and recommended less than 100 houses for demolition- being the houses that crossed the national stream separating most part of Ajao Estate (whose most landlords agreed with FAAN as their Landlord and do pay some lease financial commitment to FAAN) from the Runway. Those that built the Porsche houses were just 150m to 200m from the Runway. That showed they are devastatingly unreasonable.
At Akowonjo end, only a Filling Station was recommended for demolition.
There are over 600 budlings that would have been demolished if not that Sanwoolu is doing everything possible not to for political reasons.
But we have no option than to recommend those who want to put their property on Runway (flagrant encroachment into FAN property).
Lagos in conjunction with FAAN is planning an alternative road around the perimeter of Airport Fence. Most the houses around the fence are illegal and are on FAAN land.

If you can use google very well, you will see that the houses in area shaded purple had gone too far crossing that stream towards the Runway.
In reality, Government does not owe them a dime. If they give them anything, it will be to placate them.

It is a high-profile connivance of the Eastern Political leaders of 1963-1966.
Azikiwe was president - sent out to cover up that he was not around - WAS SAVED
Head of Parliament (Senate President) was Orizu Nwafor (the President extempore) who Azikiwe handed over to - WAS NOT KILLED.
Head of Military (the most senior) was Aguiyi Ironsi - WAS NOT KILLED.
Michael Okpara - the premier of Eastern Region - WAS NOT KILLED.

Then after the killings was completed, Ironsi that was supposed to be killed to erase ethnic coloration became head of state.
Ironsi opted not to kill his brothers (even though they were supposed to as coup plotters).
He kept them intact until he himself was killed.

Ironsi was well supported by the Igbo elders who played active roles in starting a unitary rule by creating the first 12 states out of regions.
Some of them help him amend the constitution to legitimize his new-found system of government (control). Make we support our son have full control.
If these whole events was not a conspiracy, what else can?

Igbos are actually paying for their greed. Simple.[/b]

His explanation was to encourage that Ibos build bridges and stop castigating other majority ethnicities.
To be a President in Nigeria, you must predominantly have good support from the North and at least 40% from South-West.
The North have the easiest probability of becoming a president.
South aren't one because of deep-sited bitterness from lies told about Biafra.
I can't see the unity of the South in any foreseeable future.
Hence, it is easier for south-west (who castigates no one) and South-south (who castigates no one) to become the president than the south-east (who castigates others because they overrate self).
South - East has the toughest route because they have the lowest numbers of registered voters.
However, Obi is now trying to woo Mosques (Muslims) by donating money after the religious war he lost.
That may be a good move for his future. It is also part of the bridge-building that is a must.
However, Obi can lead the bridge-building so that his ardent followers can stop castigating others.
If they change attitude, those who did not see you as an option today can be your supporters tomorrow.
Let us begin to move in the spirit of "Umoja" - The swahili word for Togetherness.
Most of what Ibos witness in Nigeria are only reactions to their own actions.
Like Pastor Adelaja said, "Don't only try to force others to change towards you, change your own actions that is bringing out their reactions too".

In fact, the main reason for the hatred Igbos have for Tinubu is that he made Buhari President.

But it has now been doubled by the fact that Tinubu defeated an Igbo candidate, despite that Igbos swore to ensure a Yoruba would not become President again before them.

Alas, they must embrace the reality of their situation.

Igbo votes cannot make one President, and Igbo votes cannot prevent one from being President.

South south did not trust Ibos in 1967, they did not support biafra because they knew they will be subjected to dehumanisation under biafra.

An Isoko friend of mine said ibos are supposed to be lobbying to Join a south-south seccession ambition not the other way.
South-south is bigger in population, bigger in Landmass and resources.

South-south should determine the name of any new nation to be formed by the alliance of south-south and south-east.
I reasoned with HIM. Dot can't be dictating how it should be to people who has the upper hand in all factors required to be independent.
